The Greenwood Target is a very nice, large Target. The grocery is a full grocery, not a small grocery offering like Nora. The aisles are nice and wide. The clothing departments have more extensive selections than most Targets. The store is also neater and cleaner and more organized than many. There were several check out lines open that seemed to be moving quickly; and the staff seemed very friendly. Stocked up on their 1.00 clearance bins for just .50. Lots of great items for teachers. And they already had lots of 'fall and winter' decorations and crafts. I'm obsessed with pumpkin spice and fall flavors. If you are too Target is your place. I stocked up on everything fall. They exclusively have the new 'creepy cocoa crisp' M&M flavor. They had a shelf full at the Greenwood location. I love it that they have seasonal in one place so you don't have to hint through every section for the new flavors. Target is the only store I've found the Pumpkin Pie flavored KitKats and the new Dove Carmel Apple and Herbert cinnamon chips for holiday Baking. They have really stepped it up in the women fashions selection. They have two new brands that are on the business casual end so great for work and evening. And25% off this Labor Day weekend. I picked up two trendy below knee dresses and two pairs of the new wide pant look and two tops. Excited for cooler weather. They have lots and lots of summer clothes on clearance for the entire family and swimwear currently. And the best selection on back to school items. (I stock up for Sunday School). They have a huge selection of Halloween treats. I like to give out non-candy items and found several things to pick up for the trick-or/treaters and fall parties. They keep re-inventing their selves to keep their store fresh. They offer slot of unique grocery items and a huge selection of pre-packaged dinner kits and meal prep items. And lots of grab and go items. M And the very best part of my trip? The Starbucks inside is the only one that I have found the 2019 Fall Blend in ground. Whole bean and kcups. So good! read more

I'm normally a fan of Target. I used to shop here for goods, and occasionally, groceries when I lived in Greenwood. The store was generally clean, well stocked and organized. Sometimes there weren't enough cashiers active, but not so bad that it was a regular problem. On my latest visit, I was nearby and needed to get some items that I would normally get at my 'go to' Meijer near Camby. On this visit, I was surprised how small this "supercenter' seemed comparatively. I only had a few items on my list and wasn't able to get them here. Total cereal? Not here. No brand (affordable) bird seed? Only overpriced smaller bags with a 250% higher price. My regular frozen pizza wasn't here either. A trip through the produce section was nice, but didn't have nearly the space and variety. Was it always like this? I guess this is a case where you think you've got something great and then you try something else and see the short comings. It's hard to give this a five when I prefer someplace else. Still, the store has a pretty good selection and if you are willing to make substitutions, you can make do. This location is large, well lit, and very clean. I enjoy shopping here and have really appreciated the wide aisles throughout the COVID pandemic. The staff is always helpful and friendly. As others have mentioned, there are better deals/selection to be found for groceries, but I appreciate the convenience of having most things I need in one place and don't mind paying a little more when I factor in Target's corporate policies/higher starting pay for employees vs similar stores and services like free curbside pickup for online orders. I have used curbside services several times this year at various stores and I feel like Target has a really smooth and easy process thanks to the app, which also helps you save with digital coupons and special offers. I do wish the selection available for online pickup was more extensive. I have had some odd experiences, like not being able to order pickup for a specific size of an item but being able to get the same item for pickup in a larger size. Recently I needed cornstarch and discovered that two options were available for pickup and others weren't. It seems like they have been increasing offerings over time, so I anticipate this changing. Self checkouts are efficient (no glitchy scanning here) and provide a contact free experience if you desire. Employees are protected with a plexiglass shield and every time I walk in someone is cleaning the carts and enforcing the current mask policy. Masks and sanitizer are available if you forget. I've never had to wait in line to check out for more than a few minutes at this location. There is a Starbucks in this store. Sometimes the line there can get a little long but the service is great! I also really appreciate the drop off recycling for plastic bags and other items, located near the customer service desk. read more

I spend a lot of time at this store and have never once had a bad experience. While I do not personally use Target for grocery shopping, I do use it a lot to purchase clothing and home decor. They always have the "in" items and are decently priced compared to other stores. My kids also love this store and often ask to go just to walk around. The bakery has a FREE treat for kids 12 and under. They can choose between a banana and a sweet treat. They also get stickers each time we check out. All of the employees are super helpful and will drop any task to help you if you are in need. Most of the cashiers will even make great conversation and are always very pleasant with my young kiddos. read more

I love my Super Target. I don't tend to do much grocery shopping here because it's really pricey and the meat selection is almost non-existent. But if I just have to pick up a couple things I usually stop here. The clothing selection is pretty good, even for a plus-size girl, and I have bought lots of accessories here. I love their purses, scarves, shoes, jewelry, and they have a great selection of socks and hosiery. I have bought lots of shirts for my husband here, everything from funny/cool t-shirts, to polos/button ups, to Colts shirts and jerseys. I can usually find really good deals on cute clothing and shoes for my 7 year old daughter as well. The store is clean, well organized, and the staff is helpful. read more

So I have a limit on how many times I can go to Target in a year. This is because I go crazy in Target. During visits, I can't control myself and my wallet feels so much lighter when I leave which is never a good thing. I only went for undergarments and came out with groceries, three pairs of shoes, clothes, toiletries... I don't know why I come into Target when I know I'm going to spend a lot of my money. As a 20-something year old female, Target is my happy place. This location is no different. They have a great selection of everything -- clothes and home goods being my two favorite departments! I don't like to grocery shop here because in general target groceries are pricier than I would like. But they do have a pretty nice alcohol selection. I could spend HOURS here. It's always clean and well stocked. I've never left empty handed. They also always have a good amount of cashiers working, in addition to the self checkouts. I will say this, about the Greenwood Super Target Store, the parking spaces in the parking are quite a bit larger than most parking lots. We almost had as much room to park as most Handicap parking spaces at other retailers. Had plenty of room to get in and out of vehicle. Store was clean like it is most every time we have came to this location. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars was that they were completely out of the item we were there to get, pickled okra and they have 2 rows on the shelf allocated for this product. Seems like the automatic ordering system is falling down on the job. Guess we will try to order it on line and pick it up later. read more

Even after Walmart moved in, Target is still one of the best places to get what you need in the Smith Valley area. The worst part about this locations is the traffic hoops you have to jump through to get there, but in the end it's usually worth it. Workers here are friendly and I've never had a problem with something being out of stock. Store is clean and organized, you shouldn't have much trouble finding what you're looking for. Definitely take advantage of the Cartwheel app to get extra discounts, and use their free Wifi while doing it. (Pro tip: don't come here with a half empty battery, a full shopping trip is a quick battery drain.) We used to do all of our grocery shopping here, but recently stopped doing that since the Kroger in Bargersville has more selection, generally lower prices, and is closer to us. But for anything non-grocery (home supplies, toys, etc.) this is still our top choice. read more

I went to Target recently and they didn't even have plain basic paper plates. As a matter of fact, there were quite a few common items on my list that Target didn't have as well. It's just frustrating and a huge disappointment when you can't get your shopping done at one store, and you really should be able to get it done with the type of store that Target claims to be. The bottom line is if a store can't carry the general and popular basics, it's not worth my time to shop there. Even the namebrand items that they carry are still made in China so what's the difference?! They just mark up the items anyway. Whatever. Target tries to be the upscale version of Walmart, but in the end, the smoke and mirrors appearances are not cutting it for me. The general culture/attitude in the store also seems clinical and unwelcoming. It's really an odd phenomenon, and it's hard to explain unless you experience it. Yes, the store is nearly always empty and pristine in appearance, but I wonder where the staff are when I shop there. The atmosphere almost has a ghostly feel to it. The guy at the customer service desk was also over the top. He was very pretentious and patronizing in his tone and kept trying to push for me to get the Target credit card. I told him I do not want another credit card. But, sadly, that wasn't a good enough answer for him. He just kept going on and on and on about the laurels of having a Target credit card. I told him that I get it, and I know that he is getting paid to try to convince me to sign up for the card, but I'm wasn't interested. I told him I used to work at a department store, and the management really harassed the employees to get people to sign up for the store's credit card. It was almost on a Nazi high pressure cooker level. But, that didn't phase him and he relentlessly droned on and on about it regardless even after I gave him that subtle hint (through my relative experience) that I was not interested. Honestly, there is a point when you start to make the customer uncomfortable after they say no. I had the sense to know even if I was expected to ask customers and try to sign up for the card, (and it wasn't working), I had to simply stop and back off. Sakes alive,..... Just lighten up on the high pressure sales pitch and ---- LET IT GO! SHEESH After all,..... doesn't NO mean NO ?! I asked him if he had some info about the card so I could take it home, read it and think about it so maybe I could decide at a later date. He had the nerve to act disgusted that I even asked that, and then just curtly told me that I should check it out on the website. Sure, and whatever,.... because at that point I was definitely ready to get out of there. I shouldn't end up feeling stressed out and beyond annoyed when I leave any store. It should be a somewhat pleasant experience to go shopping. Unfortunately, anymore that just doesn't seem to be the case. If it's not the actual shopping experience of not being able to find what you need; it's the pushy, unpleasant and miserable attitudes of the people that work there. I have always experienced and expected Target to be a much more pleasant shopping experience than their 'primary competitor' which I really dislike shopping at. I really used to love and prefer to go to Target over Walmart (insert joke here), for obvious general visual and 'comfort reasons' ; including the cleanliness and organization of the store. But, pound for pound, the bottom line is that Target still can't beat Walmart regarding selection and price. For that alone, I guess I will have to suck it up in the future and just go to Walmart. I don't think I will be going back to Target any time soon, unless it is an extreme necessity (and I mean extreme). It's just not worth my peace of mind, time, energy or the extra dollars spent. read more

I usually don't do much grocery shopping here as the prices are a little higher but occasionally they have some good deals on items in the grocery dept and I stock up. I have purchased many a cake here and i have never had a problem with anything. This target has a Starbucks inside if you need to grab a cup of Joe. I do lots of Christmas shopping here. I love this Target mainly for the better designed parking lot (ahem...Southport, Indiana). It's a quick and easy store to run into as they first open. I love their bathroom/bedroom home furnishings. While the grocery department is great, as well, the produce department is lacking unlike competition in the nearby area. They keep some produce until it's almost too mushy. I also love what they carry for women's clothing and shoes. The only thing they lack in sporting goods/outdoor is the ability to buy worms for fishing. I didn't see any. read more

Don't waste your time trying to get a job here. The HR department is a complete joke and they call you for an interview for no reason just to waste your time. They called me for an interview and then at the end of the interview said they don't have positions available, THEN WHY CALL ME FOR AN INTERVIEW AND WASTE MY TIME?? I called a few weeks ago to see if they were hiring for a barista position since I saw on glassdoor that they just posted a new job posting for it. The guy did not say hi or anything and coldly said "we aren't hiring currently in anything" ?? and then I told him that I just saw their new job posting on glassdoor and he just repeated himself again more coldly and stern, while I was being kind and sweet toned the entire time. So they aren't hiring but they make new job postings like every week for different positions, doesn't make any sense. Their Starbucks always looks short staffed and there's this 1 poor girl that looks exhausted working there the entire time. I guess they don't care about her. I've also noticed how majority of the workers there are teen girls still in high school....... I guess they would sh*t themselves if they hired an adult. Get your ego filled head out of your butt HR, ya'll suck. Get a different job if you're miserable working with people because HR isn't for you. read more

Earlier today, I have a toddler who couldn't hold it and had an accident in the toilet. Close to the cashier I found a target employee. I asked her if she could ask someone to get me some suet pants and I would pay. She said she can't and left me hanging. I called my husband and waited almost one hour in the toilet to buy us new clothing. Very unfriendly. Worst experience ever read more
