Before entering, know cats and dogs are wandering freely if you're scared of either or have an allergy. I enjoyed visiting with both as we love animals, but again, we have no allergic issues. Don't let the stairs deter you from visiting as a ramp is located to the left of the stairs. It is slightly steep but manageable for most. You are entering two floors of gorgeous country, farmhouse, and primitive decor. Every inch of the two floors is staged beautifully. Most of the items sold have wonderful displays of how to use the merchandise. Wonderful ideas, and if you have any questions, just ask for assistance. The owner, I'm assuming, was friendly and answered all my questions. She allowed us to wander at our pace and not be underfoot. I was only capable of browsing the main floor today, but I do plan on returning to tackle the second floor stairs on May 6th. I love 95% of every display I saw. The merchandise is lovely, good quality, and makes an instant impact on your decor. Regardless of your decor, you'll most likely find something you can add to your home. I'm excited to return this weekend for the Spring Market at Take Root. If you're looking for something to do, stop by the Southside and check out Take Root and Abby's Closet (next door).

When I entered the store I first noticed an adorable little pup sleeping on the counter. I was also told that the cat was hiding behind the counter. I love that! There were several seasonal items to choose from including an adorable Valentines display. This would be a great place to find a gift or something for your home. The store front is located on Madison Ave, but if you turn on Euclid you will find that they have a parking lot in back

They had so many cool items in stock, namely many chairs of different sizes and styles. I was limited by what could be hauled in my car this time, but I found a very cute gray velvet swivel chair for my bedroom which was just the right size. It was a real bargain at 30% off! The kind clerks also helped me to find a console table I'd been eyeing on their page. I decided on just the chair during this visit (although it was a difficult)! This store has truly helped me decorate my little house on a budget.

Most of their business is done via their website which they are constantly updating when a new truck arrives. You can view pictures of the items and its dimensions. They receive a variety of items for your home such as furniture, decor accessories, lighting, plumbing fixtures, tile, and window treatments. Highly recommend following them on social media as well because they do live videos showcasing new items or announcing sales. I've bought a few items from them and will surely buy more in the future. I rarely leave bad reviews, but the customer service at this boutique was awful. I stopped in with…read morefriends and found a few items I liked, but the checkout process ruined the entire experience. The cashier initially ignored me to talk to her friend. When I paid, her first comment was along the lines of how "barely anyone pays with cash anymore." Already, the vibe was off. Then, she asked where I was from. After I informed her I grew up in the local area, she immediately started rambling about her neighbors from India. It was completely inappropriate, micro-aggressive, and made me wonder if she subjects all people of color to this kind of treatment. To make matters worse, I had to return to the store because I was shorted an item due to a system error. The store was nearly empty, but I could immediately tell she was heated and just wanted me gone. I brought an item to exchange and asked about stock for a few others, which is a standard request for a store employee. Instead of helping, her tone got meaner and her voice grew so loud that it felt like I was being reprimanded just for asking questions. She literally started yelling at me. I could see the hate in her eyes, and it took everything in me not to react disrespectfully back to her. Out of pure exhaustion, I gave up and only exchanged half the value of my item. This was hands-down the worst shopping experience I've ever had. If you're looking for similar items but prefer a classy environment where the staff actually welcomes you, I highly recommend going to Charles Mayer & Company instead.

Bon Vivant specializes in girly accessories for the home and body. Outside, floral club covers are on sale at 30 percent off; inside, myriad motley treasures--bright yellow room dividers, zipper and strap-happy purses, various designer dishwashing soaps, bar soaps and lotions--unfold on shelves. My favorite from the latter genre includes Earthworks, a line of bathstuffs that has been featured in countless magazines. No wonder: the scents are strong but soft; ephemeral but enduring. Try the almond bath truffles. Don't forget the jewelry and local art. Large, swirly paintings in the style of modern Picasso dot a few walls. Pick up a pamphlet for Barbie's catering company, Sweet Tea, on your way out.

Reached out to the merchant and they basically told me "tough luck check our refund policy that says you agreed we can screw you!" Claim they will file an insurance claim with the shipper although the damage isn't shipping related and if it's approved I'll get a refund, could take months. Told me their policy won't allow you to file a claim with your credit card company! Sounds like an attempted insurance scam to me and they are trying to screw their customer. I guess this is what you get dealing with a low grade online merchant. Save yourself the headache and buy elsewhere! It's not worth saving a few bucks!

The first day they placed a box on the edge of the truck and it nearly got knocked over twice towards my car, I asked them to be careful to which he simply replied, "uh huh." They park next to me again today, the driver squeezing between my car and the truck carrying an electric drill. I was livid at their incompetence, any professional company will park in the center lot away from cars or just park on the roadway with hazards on... NOT squeeze a 10 ft truck between 2 cars! I called the store obviously upset to which the owner keeps referring to me as "hun", "hun it's a big truck", "hun they gotta park". I asked him to stop calling me "hun" and informed him of the empty area in the center and if they damaged my car I would be filing a police report to which his reply was, "hun that's what insurance is for" and "hun you need to pray" before hanging up. What an absolute crap owner. Maybe if you learned how to be professional your workers would also follow suit. If you want an example of a professional business learn from 1-800-GOT-JUNK, they drive large trucks but park away from cars, even if that means carrying things further away. Or Two Men and a Truck, who happens to be delivering today in a larger truck but isn't blocking or dangerously close to a single car. If their professionalism is a sign of their business I'm sure they are over pricing cheap/damaged furniture.

Items are organized but nevertheless it took a bit of time to locate what we needed. Asset Recycling houses over 30,000 square feet of new and ready-to-use resources. My son has been here often so he's becoming familiar with certain areas and found what he wanted. I, on the other hand, was overwhelmed. Asset Recycling is a division of Youth Fair Chance, Inc., and in operation since April of 2003. They are a non-proft organization who works to divert usable building materials from landfills while offering donors all allowable tax incentives for their contributions. The charity's focus is to provide today's youth with a fair chance for a safer and more environmentally friendly future by eliminating usable building materials from landfills.  It provides neighborhoods and individuals, especially the ill, needy, and youth, new and affordable building materials for home projects. While the Asset Recycling warehouse primarily contains windows, doors, paint, plumbing supplies, flooring, and lighting, you can also count on finding interesting deals, arts and crafts items, holiday and party supplies, home decorating items, fabrics, and more. Asset Recycling is open to the public with a focus on serving those most in need of assistance with safe and affordable housing.  Inventory changes often, so frequent visits are encouraged. Asset Recycling is located on Holt Road with entrance and parking in the very back of the building. Stop in when you're in search of building supplies and have some time.

This HomeGoods feels small. It feels quite a bit smaller than Castleton, though it's interior design is quite similar. I must admit that I have mixed feeling about HomeGoods. There's no denying the good prices on home decor and necessities, however, the shopping experience is almost universally a mid-range experience for me. I sure don't consider it wheelchair friendly, though it meets ADA (which is a bare minimum standard). There's accessible parking out front. The doors are automatic and easily workable. That's really where accessibility ends. The carts are outside the store, a bit of a hassle. The store has fairly narrow aisles and is incredibly cluttered. While I realize not every store is made for a relaxed shopping experience, I've always felt like I spend more in the places where I feel comfortable. I don't feel comfortable here and had at least five aisles I couldn't access in my wheelchair either because of other people, employees, or items blocking the path. I found the selection here paltry at best. Every item I looked at, I ended up finding a handful of options. I found nothing I wanted and was incredibly disappointed with the selection - yes, the prices were good on those items. The service lines are always long here and employees pace themselves as if they're still learning how to do the job. The employees are more functional than friendly. There's literally nothing that makes me want to return. That said, I can't say it was awful. It wasn't. It was just average. The prices are good. The layout is easy to understand. It works. I just think it could be so much better. I left quickly. I left without purchasing. I can't fathom a reason to return.
