One thing I love about this store is you never know what they'll have. They merchandise their wares well and coordinate clothing in groups which makes shopping easier. The housewares section has a nice variety also and the prices are reasonable. The only down side is if you see something you better buy it. Otherwise it may not be there when you return and they may not receive anymore in. There are some great discounts on brand name items if your willing to look for them.

Love this outdoor mall. Unfortunately, as everywhere, brick and mortar stores are dwindling, but…read morethere are still quite a lot of store left to peruse. Since this is an open air location, there is not food court, but plenty of restaurants at the mall as well as the surroundings. You will not go hungry here. And of course there is a movie theater and even event spaces to rent. I hope it survives the declining retail climate, because this is a very convenient location for me.

This is an outdoor shopping mall, a moving away from the traditional mall concept and yet it has its own issues (especially during winter). Like most malls, Perry Crossing has experienced some of the more traditional anchors going away. You've definitely got some of the familiar places from a traditional mall - JCPenney, Yankee Candle, Bath & Body Works, Claire's, Dick's Sporting Goods and others. Food options here? Bru Burger, El Toro, Hot Box Pizza, Schakolad Chocolate Factory, Rocket Fizz, Stone Creek Dining Company, Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt, and Theo's Italian. There's a Barnes & Noble here. There's AMC Perry Crossing. There's a splash pad for the kiddos. There's a family restroom between Zales and Yankee Candle (also available for nursing moms). Curb cuts are solid. Accessible parking is plentiful. Because this is an open-air concept, be aware that as accessible as everything is you'll still be going from store-to-store outside for the most part. So, plan accordingly. I generally do fine here, however, for those with mobility concerns or who might require assistance it's important to remember that during inclement weather you're not really protected from the elements. Overall, I like this shopping center. Things are well labeled, well organized, and parking is pretty reasonable. While it's not my favorite Indy retail spot, I often forget how much I like it until I am here.

I had no idea they were located on the west side in the central state "village" we were lucky and got a tour from the director and learned all about the mission, and got to see some different secret projects they are working on. I was impressed by how well they pay their people For there work in all of the hand stitching of each product, their price points make a lot more sense now. You can bring your company there for a day of volunteering to help them prep material so it can be made into different products. Also saw what is left of the Hoosier dome, it takes up such a small corner of the building it's crazy to think how it's been made into so many different products. Love the work pup does, and was lucky to be able to purchase some sweet Indy stickers! One day I'll have an actual pup product

PUP is focused on turning trash into treasure. They collect refuse from the city and repurpose it into something brand new. They're responsible for the "pup seats" at bus stations around town that are Bush Stadium baseball seats. Way cool! What got me was that they salvaged 13 ACRES of material from the RCA Dome roof...and now they use it to make wallets and messenger bags! SO COOL. They also have old signage from the 2012 Super Bowl that Indy hosted and use it in the bags, as well. PUP gathers volunteers to scrounge around the junkyard every month. For example, they use old seat belts as straps for bags...how creative and smart! PUP has a great mission and is doing really cool things in the city - check 'em out! The studio in Fountain Square is a bit hard to find in the Murphy Arts Building but it's a cool studio vibe. My only complaint is that I wish their products weren't so expensive - i had my eye on a duffel bag but it was $150+ dollars!

A pair of local Brownsburg owners who have spent a number of years getting to know the folks in the area have opened this mini store just south of Main St (US 136). There's a large gravel parking lot surrounded by mature trees; makes it feel like you're in a wooded area. Inside, the shop is filled with colorful women's clothing and accessories like bracelets and soaps. There are positive/upbeat sayings throughout the store to encourage customers to have a good experience. The clothing is probably geared towards working women who want something nice to wear either to work or during their precious down time. Due to the limited size of the shop, the clothing that comes in is limited in quantity, so getting to know the owners and when new shipments come in might be to your advantage to be able to pick up something in your size. Okay, I am relying upon my wife's opinion on much of this review, so I'm supposed to mention that the individual brands that are carried vary widely on how true to size they run. Fortunately, the owners are familiar with each brand well enough to know the differences and can help you find a size that works best for you. My wife ended up buying three tops while there, so I think she really liked it. Prices seemed pretty reasonable on most of the items too! Very friendly staff/owners are low pressure, but since the space is small, you are within speaking range of the counter if you need assistance. Review #2624

There's wedding dresses, mother-of-the-bride dresses, flower girl dresses, and tons of accessories including clutches, shoes and earrings. They have some casual clothes as well. Truly a one stop shop for your special night! Two fitting rooms nestled in the store allow you to play dress up and try on until you say yes to the dress. Their prices are the best part, if someone had told me about DCB in my high school days I wouldn't have overspent as much as I did, such amazing pieces at truly affordable prices. I saw lots of gowns marked down and also under the $100 range. The owner has been in business since 2002, and even though I didn't get to chat with her, I spoke with her cousin who was hard at work steaming and refreshing some pieces. So much detail goes into these gowns it's so nice to see the effort behind keeping each piece spotless and glamorous. Before you head out of the city or go to those tiresome and monotonous pop up prom shops check out DCB on the Southside, you'll be amazed at the selection of gorgeous dresses and your wallet will thank you!
