She was very kind and promised change; I am optimistic for the future of her businesses. Thank you for reaching out and for assuring that things can only get better from here! Original: Let me start by saying I have my dress, but this has been the absolute worst part of my wedding planning process. I said yes to my dress here during a trunk show (that I had no idea was occurring). I ordered it in January and was told that, since it was a custom, that it would take 6 months and should arrive in June. June came and went and it was absolutely radio silent. Once it hit the middle of July I began calling once a week to try to get any information. I kept getting told that only the manager had access to shipping and that they would leave my number on her desk so she could contact me- that contact with her never came. I kept calling once a week through to the last week of August when my dress finally arrived. I was so excited and found out I had to make an appointment to come pick up my dress- no try on, no learn how to bustel, or anything. (As a FIRST TIME & NEW bride, I had no idea that bustling was something you learned at seamstresses/alterations). I then got a call a few days later saying that my dress was not up to their quality, that something was wrong, and that they were getting it express remaid and mailed back. I was heartbroken and I had to beg to let them let me see my dress. I had even asked twice over the phone if I could at least try it on since I had NO IDEA what my dress would look like on me. When I went to try it on, the girl tried to tell me that she didn't want me to try it on because it was not up to their standards and I had to keep asking and tell her that I was told over the phone that I could try it on. Against my better judgement, I purchased a veil that day because it fit my dress perfectly and I did not want to fight with trying to find another one. I did not want to give this place any more money. Both the dress and the veil came in October 3rd. As a 'sorry' for the lack of communication, extreme delay in receiving my dress, receiving it in not-perfect condition, and then having to reorder it, they gave me a pair of earrings. I have my wedding jewelry, the sorry was not acceptable and I do not want to represent this business in that way. As a first time bride, I kept asking questions that I thought were pretty typical when ordering a wedding dress for the first time in your life and received answers that were brushed off like common knowledge for everyone. How long do typical bridal alterations take? 'Oh, no more that 2 weeks.' Can I come try it on and can you teach me how to bustel? 'When you go get it altered, they teach you how to do that?' Do you have any idea when my dress could arrive? 'No, only the manager has access to that information.' This wedding studio seems to only be interested in the buy and not interested in making sure they keep customers coming back/spreading positive news about their shop. I tried to keep my mind in the headspace that the timing of the dress getting to me is not their fault, it is totally in the hands of the designer (Colby John Bridal, by the way), but the way this shop went around their lack of/miscommunications was horrendous. I'm so glad to have my dress and put this mess behind me.

Between the large private rooms, to the free bubbly, to the friendly staff, I don't think you could find a better experience. The bride I went with to this appointment couldn't not say enough good things about her dress consultant, and the owner herself actually pulled the dress the bride ended up buying. You can tell the owner is very passionate about her business. They do have another shop in Carmel for anyone on that side of town. I highly recommend brides stopping in to the store. You might just end end saying yes to one of their many beautiful dresses.

She helped to alter my wedding dress to fit me well, shorten the straps, and hem the bottom. My dream was to add sleeves to my dress, which she did beautifully with ribbons. Erin was great to work with and my gown fit like a glove the day of my wedding!…read more I was recommended to Erin by my now mother-in-law. Her daughter had her wedding gown altered by Erin. This must have been no easy task because her gown was allll beads and applique. So gorgeous! Erin has an eye for detail and allows for weight fluctuations in between fittings. My gown needed taken in at the bust and length shortened. In addition to everything fitting very nicely, she also fastened my rhinestone belt to my gown so it wouldn't move around but could also be removed after the wedding. Erin also takes the time to make sure you and the person helping you with your dress know exactly how the dress is secured. She even gave us some great pointers on how to make a perfect bow and how to use a crochet hook for quickly hooking buttons (of which there were tons on my dress). My wedding was on a Sunday when Erin's shop is closed, but Erin was nice enough to make herself available in order for my wedding coordinator to pick up my dress. As part of the cost of alterations, my dress and veil were steamed. They looked pristine the day of the wedding. Compared to other alterations shops in Indianapolis I would say Erin is on the more expensive side, but when you are in the shop for a fitting it is only you. No other brides sizing up you and judging your dress. No one rushing you in and out. It is calm and quiet, which to me is priceless. A great experience with Erin. Highly recommend.

The walls are going to be repainted and the former business's carpet will be removed and replaced with wood flooring. It's a little spare in decor right now, but it should be looking good soon! And as my wife can attest, if you have good quality clothing that for some reason you aren't wearing, this is a spot to bring them to see if you can earn some cash back (or in my wife's case, in store credit towards purchases.) The quality of the alterations was excellent once they were finally completed, but the lack of communication throughout the process was disappointing.. Calls and messages often went unanswered, timelines kept changing, and there were a lot of excuses along the way. I understand that things come up, but professionalism means keeping customers informed and following through on commitments. I can't stress enough; the job itself was done very very well (hence why I gave two stars and not just one) but it shouldn't take that much effort to get basic updates, clarity and most of all, a time to pick up the finished work. If you're looking for quality workmanship and don't mind chasing updates or waiting longer than promised, this might work for you. But if communication, reliability, and professionalism matter to you as much as the finished product, you may want to look elsewhere.

My son wears a man's size in sweatshirts, so I found a large variety of hoodies and sweatshirts that he might like. Keep in mind that this is a store for adults, so sizes start at adult small, which is actually pretty big. There are no children's clothing sizes here. I walked away with three hoodies, and because they were gifts, I obviously didn't try them on. Although, if I wanted to, there are changing rooms in the store. Be aware that all purchases are final.
