Original: Let me start by saying I have my dress, but this has been the absolute worst part of my wedding planning process. I said yes to my dress here during a trunk show (that I had no idea was occurring). I ordered it in January and was told that, since it was a custom, that it would take 6 months and should arrive in June. June came and went and it was absolutely radio silent. Once it hit the middle of July I began calling once a week to try to get any information. I kept getting told that only the manager had access to shipping and that they would leave my number on her desk so she could contact me- that contact with her never came. I kept calling once a week through to the last week of August when my dress finally arrived. I was so excited and found out I had to make an appointment to come pick up my dress- no try on, no learn how to bustel, or anything. (As a FIRST TIME & NEW bride, I had no idea that bustling was something you learned at seamstresses/alterations). I then got a call a few days later saying that my dress was not up to their quality, that something was wrong, and that they were getting it express remaid and mailed back. I was heartbroken and I had to beg to let them let me see my dress. I had even asked twice over the phone if I could at least try it on since I had NO IDEA what my dress would look like on me. When I went to try it on, the girl tried to tell me that she didn't want me to try it on because it was not up to their standards and I had to keep asking and tell her that I was told over the phone that I could try it on. Against my better judgement, I purchased a veil that day because it fit my dress perfectly and I did not want to fight with trying to find another one. I did not want to give this place any more money. Both the dress and the veil came in October 3rd. As a 'sorry' for the lack of communication, extreme delay in receiving my dress, receiving it in not-perfect condition, and then having to reorder it, they gave me a pair of earrings. I have my wedding jewelry, the sorry was not acceptable and I do not want to represent this business in that way. As a first time bride, I kept asking questions that I thought were pretty typical when ordering a wedding dress for the first time in your life and received answers that were brushed off like common knowledge for everyone. How long do typical bridal alterations take? 'Oh, no more that 2 weeks.' Can I come try it on and can you teach me how to bustel? 'When you go get it altered, they teach you how to do that?' Do you have any idea when my dress could arrive? 'No, only the manager has access to that information.' This wedding studio seems to only be interested in the buy and not interested in making sure they keep customers coming back/spreading positive news about their shop. I tried to keep my mind in the headspace that the timing of the dress getting to me is not their fault, it is totally in the hands of the designer (Colby John Bridal, by the way), but the way this shop went around their lack of/miscommunications was horrendous. I'm so glad to have my dress and put this mess behind me. read more

I have 3 friend getting married next year, I have been going to a lot of appointments with them. This place was hands down the best dress shop I have seen. Between the large private rooms, to the free bubbly, to the friendly staff, I don't think you could find a better experience. The bride I went with to this appointment couldn't not say enough good things about her dress consultant, and the owner herself actually pulled the dress the bride ended up buying. You can tell the owner is very passionate about her business. They do have another shop in Carmel for anyone on that side of town. I highly recommend brides stopping in to the store. Long story (semi) short - went wedding dress shopping in NYC and ordered my wedding dress 9 months in advance from a popular Australian designer. It arrived 35 days before my wedding and was A. The wrong color B. Not the same material and hung completely differently. It was awful. I immediately got on google, found The Wedding Studio, and made a next day appt to see if they could help me out last minute. Fast forward 15 hours and I met with Mariah. We had been texting a bit before, and I had sent her my wishlist although I was open to anything that would look decent on me and was available now. Mariah pulled me a handful of beautiful dresses - I couldn't believe that they had multiple options for me. I fell in love with one of them and was able to purchase the floor sample (which was in nearly perfect condition) and take it home that day. I honestly love my new dress more than the one I originally purchased and couldn't be more grateful for the experience both TWS and Mariah provided. What a beautiful and chic place this is if you're on the hunt for a wedding dress! Each bride to be has their own fitting room on top of having a private room for guests to mingle and for the bride to show off her gown (see photos). My baby sis had a set appointment and my other sister and I were all assisted by an employee named Taylor. She was so energetic, caring, helpful, and listened and searched for the specific style dress my sister was looking for. Needless to say, my sis said YES to the dress! Upon checkout, each bride to be received a bottle of champagne. Unfortunately due to Covid, we were not able to pop the bottle. Bittersweet. They were very patient and wonderfully helpful trying on dresses but after that things started falling short. I never got my 'I said Yes!' experience. I questioned the measurements and size of the dress but my concern was somewhat dismissed. Even calling back and inquiring again, both my mom and myself, were shrugged off as they were confident in their sizing. Unfortunately, once I finally got the dress and put it on, every alteration expert assured us the dress was still at least 1 or 2 sizes too big and we were even given a recommendation to buy a new dress for what might end up bring the cost of all the alteration. Very disappointed in the additional large expense i didn't budget for which felt like a second blow. What an expensive mistake I'm now responsible for. I came here with a friend to find her wedding dress. She isn't a big shopper and was a bit nervous for the whole experience. As soon as we stepped into the wedding studio all of her worries vanished. They greeted you immediately and matched you with a consultant for your appointment, and lead your whole party to their own private room. They start the consultation by giving everyone a complimentary glass of champagne. Um, hello! The consultant then asked my friend some questions to get to know her and her fiancé, and then asked about what kinds of dresses she was interested in. They listened so well, and also brought in some suggestions/dresses they thought my friend might like even thought she didn't initially think she would like a certain style. They were engaging, had fantastic customer service, and clearly know their stuff. They made the experience feel so fun and special for everyone. read more

An absolutely BEAUTIFUL store. As soon as you walk in, you forget that you are in the middle of Greenwood. It feels as if you are walking into a high-fashion NYC bridal boutique. Every single detail was thought of when they created this store and it does not go unnoticed. The staff was incredible. I could not recommend this shop more! The store is full of amazing and passionate stylists, and such a great selection. They handpick each dress that is in the store, so you know they love what they do! We had an incredible experience and am excited to keep working with them through my wedding timeline. This place is absolutely gorgeous! The staff was super friendly and the personal fitting rooms were gigantic and the bridal suites had lots of room for your friends and family. I went to quite a few different bridal shops and this was by far my favorite when it comes to decor! SO CUTE! My stylist was super personable and made my experience incredible. She did not complain at all when I wanted to try on more dresses and was fantastic at helping pick out complementary jewelry to match my top choices! She also didn't make me feel bad when I couldn't make a decision and ultimately decided to not get a dress that day. Although I did not end up choosing my dress from here, I highly recommend this place. They took excellent precautions when it comes to Covid and really know how to make a bride feel special. Lastly, the free champagne was delicious! I would love to know what kind they were serving as even my grandma loved it and she can be pretty hard to please! (I completely forgot to ask during my session.) I would add photos but I didn't think to take any of the studio and don't want to post any photos of me trying on my dress as my fiance doesn't want to see ANY of them until after our wedding. read more

I said yes!!! The Wedding Studio seriously made my dreams come true; shout out to Liv for being a great consultant and employee, she was fantastic! She measured twice and cut once so to speak and I appreciated that! All the other workers who were around also were wonderful. I had been putting off wedding dress shopping basically as long as I possibly could. Every time I go to Costco (across the street) I would see this studio and think about walking in. I am newer to this area and really do not have any knowledge of stores outside the bigger chains that I knew I didn't want to walk into. This store is an awesome location by the way! Inside is very comfortable and has a wonderful layout. I was highly impressed! Even the bathroom made me feel like a bride!! Lol The thought of dress shopping has just given me so much stress. I am usually the type of girl that just gets overwhelmed or stressed when friends and family gives input into my decisions. My friend suggested we go dress shopping and I knew it was time to go. Please don't take this the wrong way but, I am glad I didn't invite anyone else. I found the dress that I was happy with then FaceTimed my mom to show her before I bought it or sent pictures to my bridesmaids. This was by far the best decision I had ever made. It made a stress free day! I felt truly special instead of feeling stressed out due to comments being made before I decided how I felt. This might be strange but I never once thought about what I really wanted in a dress before going dress shopping. I don't know if this was good or bad; I was just open to trying every type of dress. I explained what the event was like and what I was looking for feeling wise. After trying on several dresses I realized what I wanted was something I didn't think I would even look good in. This is almost sad to say but I felt beautiful for the first time in years. A slight fit and flare looked beautiful on me and I really never thought I had the body to pull it off. Liv and other employees agreed that this was the direction to go. Usually I would feel like employees are just telling me that however, you can tell that they were honestly telling me the truth. I had left the store to go to another appointment at another bridal shop. After two dresses in, I told the consultant that I needed to stop because I know I had already found the dress at a different place. I don't regret going to a second store because that helped me confirm my thoughts about this dress. I called The Wedding Studio and they were happy to allow me back in to try the dress on again for the second time in the same day before they closed. I realized that The Wedding Studio is doing something right! They are not pushy, they do not have their noses up in the air, and they are just a chill and down to earth store. They were able to take what I said and pull the right style, expression, and feeling out into dresses that truly transformed me into how I wanted to feel but never thought it was possible. I walked out of the first store I had ever really gone dress shopping at with the dress of my dreams. I appreciate getting directions on who they suggest taking my dress to get alterations done. This is where I bought my wedding dress! I made an appointment here, and I was concerned that my budget of $1250 wouldn't be enough (the average price is around $1500). However, I found a gorgeous dress in my price range. I took 4 people with me, and we had plenty of room. They served us champagne when we got there (pro tip- the girls on the other side of the salon brought their own OJ and made mimosas. How cute is that?). Maddie helped me pick out some options. She wasn't pushy, and she was very patient. She pulled my dress after we gave her some feedback on others I had tried on. It was from a designer I hadn't looked at because I thought that it would be out of my price range. However, Maddie didn't have me try on a single dress over my budget (when all the other wedding vendors seem to be hundreds more than what I expected, this is huge!). April is just phenomenal, as she was our bridal expert who ensured that the bride's expectations were met. The 2nd dress my daughter said yes to the dress. I don't even want to give this place a 1 star. I went here to find my wedding dress and they had a great variety of dresses and I ended up purchasing one. It was a little more than my price range, but it was my DREAM dress. For my appointment, I had the manager of the studio, which I thought would be a good thing. Turns out she told me to order a size that was too snug on me - I thought it fit fine, but when I went to my seamstress to get my alterations, she was SHOCKED because the dress was way too tight for the delicate beading on the back of my dress, and said the manager was terrible for recommending this size in the first place. Keep in mind, I did not gain or lose any weight, and I only had 3 months between ordering my dress and going to my seamstress. So now I have a dress that I can't return or exchange for a different size all because the manager was absolutely terrible and told me to get the wrong size. DEFINITELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this place. If the manager doesn't know what she's doing, you certainly can't trust anyone she manages. Good riddance to this place and for wasting my time, my money, and creating a chaotic situation of what I'm going to do about my wedding dress. read more

Every bride's dream! The boutique is beautiful and the staff are welcoming and friendly. They offered us champagne when we arrived, and my guests and I were escorted to a beautiful viewing area with couches and mirrors. The owner assisted with my appointment and we tried a variety of lovely gowns to get a feel for what I wanted. I cannot say enough about my experience at The Wedding Studio, Greenwood. This is by far one of the nicest and cleanest wedding dress stores I have been to - they truly thought of every detail (even during this stressful COVID time.) My stylist, Taylor, was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, thoughtful and considerate of my budget. She started our appointment off by having me list my likes/dislikes, ceremony and venue details, and wedding "vision." She then walked me around the store, provided details on different designers and styles, and ran through pricing. I gave her some ideas of what I liked, she pulled dresses, and set us up in a private dressing room. The private dressing room was expertly-lit and very inviting. I was able to have a private reaction when trying on the dress, then show my bridal party in the viewing room (additional room across hall, well-lit and tons of comfy seating for bridal party.) Taylor helped me into maybe 10 dresses in the 90 minute appointment, let me try on my top dresses, and helped me through the purchasing process once I decided on "the dress!" I never felt pushed, judged, rushed or pressured at any point in my appointment. I will recommend this studio over and over to all of my friends and family! read more

While I loved this boutique and the experience of finding my dress, I wish I could go back and do it all over and pay attention to the details a little more than they or I did! I went in and told the associate I wanted a white dress ( I even put white on paperwork when making my appt). I found THE dress and was overly excited! I signed off on the paperwork. When I picked up the dress it was ivory.... this is 50% my fault because I signed off on the paperwork, but I was too excited to pay attention to those small details. She went over sizing with me and gave me her recommendation. I went with her recommendation because she is the professional. I should have went with my gut which was a size down... I went for alterations and a good 3 inches needed to be taken off everywhere!!! Putting me at $650 in alterations. While I loved the boutique I wasn't happy in the end and with their policy of no returns or exchanges I was stuck, and they weren't going to work with me in anyway.... I was told I could just buy another dress.... so just be more prepared than I was!! I recently tried on wedding dresses here, and was able to bring 6 people along, which was great. They have a great private space for you and your guests with plenty of sitting room and it was very girly and beautiful. I had made an appointment here and at another boutique in the area. If I'm honest, I wasn't looking forward to trying dresses on, even though I am thrilled to be getting married. The thought of taking dresses on and off all day, that likely wouldn't fit, and I would judge myself harshly in, just didn't sound great. My actual experience was exact opposite of that. My stylist, Taylor, was the reason for that, she was absolutely amazing. She made me feel beautiful, and literally, said all the right things to make someone confident. She also kept in mind what I was looking for, and my price range. (Until I told her not to haha) Taylor was incredibly friendly and if you're going there, I recommend asking for her. I had an appointment at TWS and was excited to get to the store. I loved that they have Pinterest boards to search to give you an idea of their inventory. I walked in and was greeted by Narah. I gave her a rundown of what I liked and what I was looking for. She pulled several dresses that fit my description and one more that was different. I loved every single dress. One dress truly stood out from the rest for me and I couldn't be happier. My mom, sister, and I celebrated with a champagne toast and a bottle to take home. After a TERRIBLE experience at Bridal Rack, my best friend (the bride) and our whole wedding dress shopping group was feeling rather insulted and basically shocked. We decided to drive a few minutes down the road to The Wedding Studio just to see if we could look at dresses (since we didn't have an appointment). We were just trying to end the day on a good note! Well, The Wedding Studio was MORE than a good note... It was your favorite song coming on at the club. It was a windows down music up not a worry in the world feeling! After briefly describing our experience to Vanessa, she was very honest in saying she probably couldn't give my friend what she wanted, but we were going to have fun no matter what! She had an open slot and ushered us to our own private room and immediately offered everyone champagne (1 point Vanessa)! She got my friend set up in a changing room, pulled some dresses, and came to our room to tell us our goal was to have a great time because she couldn't give her the dress she had originally fallen in love with at the snooty Bridal Rack. Vanessa was AMAZING! She brought my friend in and everyone's jaw dropped. We were all shocked by the strapless, fitted dress she had put my friend in. MY FRIEND LOOKED STUNNING! We saw a few more dresses and Vanessa pulled out all of the stops offering a look at different sleeve options (something my friend definitely wanted her dress to have). All of a sudden we hear Vanessa hyping up my friend and my friend saying, "I love it!" We all sat up in our room! My friend walked in with THE BIGGEST SMIILE on her face. Oooohs and Ahhhhhs were heard around the room. Goosebumps were getting goosebumps and before we knew it Vanessa had taken our slightly disccouraged bride and presented her with more confidence and beauty than I had ever seen. Vanessa filled champagne (2 points Vanessa) and said, "You need to take some time. You can't leave here today buying this dress." She explained that she didn't want my friend purchasing this dress out of spite because of her POOR experience at Bridal Rack (3 points Vanessa). After staring at our bride with tears in our eyes for probably 15 minutes, she changed and we began collecting our items all feeling on cloud 9. Vanessa was truly an angel sent to us in that moment. We walked out of The Wedding Studio (reluctantly... we loved it so much we didn't want to leave!) throwing compliments and sincere "Thank Yous" out like candy at a parade. If you or someone you know is a future bride, there is not doubt in my mind that The Wedding Studio Greenwood will treat you like the amazingly beautiful human you are. Even if they don't have what you're looking for, they WILL make the experience a positive one! We walked in looking for a small spark of positivity and walked out with a SMOKING HOT bride full of confidence and beauty (and honestly a dress... y'all know she's giving Vanessa a call ASAP)! I was so excited to officially go dress shopping with my mom, grandma and fiancé's mom and sister in law. I got a recommendation from a friend about The Wedding Studio Greenwood and was so excited! We first arrived and it was lovely! We got taken back to our private room by our consultant, Bailey. When it was just her and I in the fitting room, she hardly spoke to me. She did not ask anything about me or my fiancé like the place I went before. I felt like I was being judged by the way I looked right away and was beginning to feel defeated about the whole appointment. She brought a dress in that actually caught my eye and it was above my price point. Then she brought one in that was a tighter fit and it was not going to fit my body type. So she said, in a very judgmental tone, "It would fit your waist, but girl those hips..." I immediately felt sick to my stomach and like I was going to cry. We left shortly after this moment, didn't even stay a full hour of our 90 minute appointment. I hope she never makes another bride-to-be feel the way she made me feel that day. read more
