My experience from Elite Bridal was really amazing. I came in looking for something a little more modern for mother of the bride. Marita was an amazing sales girl. She was very attentive and helpful. I never felt like she was annoyed when I needed to try on gowns I had already tried on. She was very respectful and helpful. I really appreciated her. I purchased 2 gowns and a belt. I felt the prices were fine and worked for my budget. Thanks again Marita! You are amazing. The shop itself is large and plenty of room for people to move around and be made to feel special all around. I observed other women trying on gowns and we were quick to compliment each other. People really are the best. Women lifting women up. I think you should add some quotes around your store that empower women. Those statements would be positive for our bodies and our minds. Every woman no matter what size or beauty should be empowered. When I returned to pick up my ordered gowns, the store owner, Kaitlin waited on me. She was short of help this day as sometimes happens in shops because things happen. I felt appreciated for my purchase and would definitely shop here again. Overall, a wonderful experience. Elite Entertainment and Bridal Salon really came through for our wedding 6/15/19!! We loved everything about the services we received from them!! The services that we had used from Elite: 1) I bought my wedding dress and veil through Elite Bridal and my mom bought her Mother of the Bride's dress- my mom and I had so much fun finding my dress there- they have COUNTLESS options for all budgets and styles! If you book an appointment in advance I know there is the option to have a VIP experience, I decided to save some money and just went with a regular visit in the afternoon, during the week, and still felt like a VIP!! All of the ladies at Elite Bridal were wonderful and very easy to work with! 2) We did limo through Elite Limos and originally booked the Escalade limo, for a decent price. However, the Escalade had an unfortunate incident with a deer the week before our wedding but Kaitlin & Ryan were very kind and offered to upgrade us for free to the Party Bus or Hummer Limo- we chose the party bus and it was fantastic! 3) We chose to have our DJ through Elite Entertainment and Jeff Blankenship wound up being our guy! We received so many compliments all night on how awesome the DJ and music was and how no one had ever seen so many people on the dance floor through the whole night! Everyone is talking about how much fun they had at our wedding and I think Jeff & Elite Entertainment had a lot to do with that!! Thank you!! 4) We also chose to do Chiavari Chairs through Elite Entertainment, and they were beautiful!! I received a lot of compliments on how pretty they were and really added to the ambiance in the room! 5) Stacy from Elite helped us order tuxes through Jim's Formalwear and all of the tuxes looked great on the guys and they said they were very easy to order. Many of them needed to order them from out of state or far away (more than half actually!) and they also said it was a very easy process. My husband actually needed a different size jacket and vest when he received his in the mail and when he called Jim's Formalwear to get the new size it came in the mail very quickly TWICE!! He received it in the mail in plenty of time for us to get married. All in all- we would choose Elite all over again for the quality of service that they provided. Every interaction that I had with them via e-mail, phone, or in person was equally as personable and helpful. I have heard that some people in the area don't go with Elite because it's too "pricey" but I disagree- if you choose them for multiple services then you end up getting discounts galore! We actually saved money by going with them for so many things AND received high quality and trustworthy services! We ended up having severe rain all day during our wedding and some things needed to be moved around last minute- my aunt who was acting as our day- of coordinator on my behalf said that Elite was very easy to work with and that between her, Kaitlin from Elite, and Caitlin from the Regent (our ceremony and reception location) everything was taken care of! I absolutely loved every step of the way with Elite Bridal. I went in with my mom, a bridesmaid, and my MILTB and we were treated very well. I had no idea what I wanted when I came in and our girl helped me narrow down what I was looking for and was very patient. Once I tried on "the one", I was sold and they were very generous to give me some gifts when we checked out. Elite Bridal is the best bridal store in Champaign! I had an awesome experience when I searched for wedding dresses. The dresses are gorgeous and the lighting is perfect to make everything shimmer and sparkle; I mean you get the whole effect of the dress! I worked with more than one consultant and they were both wonderful! I ended up purchasing my wedding dress from there with no problems. Onto bridesmaid dresses- I ended up going to David's first because I knew their dresses were a bit cheaper than at Elite. Biggest mistake was going to David's! I ended up coming back to Elite that same day without an appointment and Christine was absolutely wonderful! She informed me that she could do what she could within 45 minutes because they were expecting 2 Bridal appointments. I was thrilled since it's so hard to schedule appointments with all of the girls due to work schedules, etc. We pulled a couple of dresses that we liked and the girls got to try them on, no problem! Such great customer service! My dress buying experience was a ppositive experience and really only half of the story! My family from Arizona were in town and the ladies were so friendly and accommodating to allow me to try on the sample dress so my dad could see before the wedding. I then chose to buy my bridesmaid dresses and bridal accessories through Elite which was also a positive experience. When I went to pick up my bridal accessories, I was not convinced that they were the same ones I ordered. The staff did not hesitate to pull out my sample dress and try it all on, again! They were so helpful and it was obvious they wanted to ensure I was 100% happy with my purchases. read more

I had such a great experience at Elite Bridal! I've had a whirlwind engagement and planned to get married a month and a half from my engagement date. I went in on a Friday afternoon without an appointment and they let me go through their store to write down dresses I would like to try on. They were also able to squeeze me into their schedule for an appointment the next morning. They were all super friendly and professional. They were very helpful and explained that I'd need to either find a dress off of the rack or if the sizing was wrong they could check to see if a dress was in stock for me. Whenever I arrived for my appointment the following morning, it went so smoothly. They pulled all of the dresses that I had written down from the day before and I was paired with Moriah as my consultant. Moriah was so great to work with. She was very relaxed, cool, and really understood what I was looking for. She helped me find THE dress and was not pushy at all whenever I said I loved it but wanted to go to my next appointment just to be 100% sure. She held the dress for me and an hour later, after my other appointment, I was back and walked out with a beautiful wedding dress that miraculously fit perfectly. I called Elite Bridal on a whim while I was in Champaign on business, after discovering they carried Stella York-- Kayla answered and confirmed they carried the dress I was interested in--and told me to come on in, even without an appointment. I was warmly greeted and Kayla had already pulled out the dress I was inquiring about! I had tried on this specific dress in my hometown bridal store, but also shopped extensively in Chicago. I really wanted to try it on again before deciding. Kayla was SO professional about this, never pushy to purchase from Elite Bridal. She spent a good hour with me, playing with veils, even pinning on a belt to get the whole effect. Ultimately, I ended up purchasing from my hometown store out of convenience and price (I'll be back and forth there a lot!), but I HIGHLY recommend Elite Bridal and their entire team. I emailed a bit with both Kayla and the manager Danielle--so professional and friendly, which is exactly what you want when making such a big purchase. I went here as my 2nd appointment of the first day I tried on wedding dresses. I am a very budget conscious bride and was honestly worried that all their dresses would be too expensive. My budget was only $1000. I worked with Jen. She was extremely helpful and definitely kept my budget in mind. She even told me which designers to avoid and which ones were great for brides on a budget. I had a dress from the other store that I was in love with but as soon as I put my dress on at elite, I knew it was the one, and best part is it was a discontinued style, so it was on clearance!!! Jen put a veil on me and gave me a bouquet and that was it. I started crying, my mom started crying, and my bridesmaids had the biggest smiles! I'm really glad I gave Elite a chance, even though I was on a budget. They were so helpful and let me try on anything I wanted. And when I found the one, she let me keep it on as long as I wanted. They really are there to cater to their brides. As for the shop, it was clean, had lots of choices, and an overall amazing atmosphere. Definitely would recommend to any bride!! read more

I went to Elite Bridal as my first shop on my list to try dresses at. I was very nervous about trying on gowns, because I had never tried on wedding dresses before. First impressions of Elite Bridal were great! Upon walking into the shop, I was greeted by very friendly consultants. One of the consultants (Sicelley-not sure about the spelling of her name-oops!), took my group and I to a table to sit down and talk about what kind of look I was going for. At the time I was planning on doing a destination beach wedding, but was not 100% sure that was what we would end up doing. She let my group and I walk around and look at all of the dresses and pull the ones that we wanted to try....I tried on A LOT of dresses and all different styles. While trying on the different dresses, I found multiple that I liked. The consultant got a good idea of what I was looking for and pulled 3 different dresses that she thought I might like. (None of which my group or I originally picked). All 3 that the consultant picked for me were my top 3 favorite dresses! I liked them all a lot and they were perfect for the beach theme destination wedding! The best part of all, is the dresses were great prices!!!! Of course they have some more expensive ones, but it just happens that I liked the cheaper ones. I was pretty much set on a dress from there, but I had an appointment with another bridal shop in town right after, so I figured that I should check them out too. The girls at Elite were completely understanding that I was not ready to buy a dress yet and they did not make me feel bad or pressure me at all!! When I went to the other dress shop, I could not find anything that I liked as much as the dresses at Elite. The consultant was very nice, but I felt like my experience at Elite was a lot better. So i decided that this month, I was going to go in and purchase my dress. I made an appointment and when I got there, they had the dress that I really liked hanging up ready for me to try on. I tried that dress on again and loved it all over again. One of my bridesmaids came to this appointment with me that had not come to the original appointment. I told her that if she would like to see me in anything else, that I will try on anything. So she head out to the racks and brought back a dress that looked completely different from what I had on. I thought it was pretty on the hanger, but not great. The consultant (this time was Danielle) helped me into the dress and right then, i knew that was the dress!! It was PERFECT! I thought I loved the other one, but i REALLY LOVED this one! I was worried about the cost, because I was already set on the cost of the other dress. This dress looked like it would be much more expensive, but it was on $100 more!! Danielle let me wear the dress around the shop while I looked at bridesmaid dresses. It was so comfortable and I felt so comfortable. I purchased the dress and I am so happy with my whole experience!! Moral of my long story is that Elite Bridal is beautiful on the inside, has many gorgeous gowns to choose from-you may actually have a hard time picking just one! The consultants are very friendly, helpful, and don't make you feel rushed or pressured into buying. The ordering process was simple. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER - Rented the tuxes from Elite Bridal - nothing but a nightmare! Groomsman tux - one leg hemmed, one not hemmed - had to take it somewhere to be fixed. 2 Groomsman tuxes - pants too big Father of the Bride tux - shirt too big, wrong tie - had to make another trip to pick up tie - we are 45 miles away. Groomsman tux - they were aware he would be picking the tux up late as he was flying in from out of state - way too big - 60.00 charge to fix! Told that bow ties could be purchased - not true - charged a late fee on those or some ridiculous fee. Told tux was returned damaged - hole burnt through the garment bag to the suit coat - not possible as tux was returned by non-smoker. $150.00 charge I would only recommend if you want a nightmare experience and if you want to be nickeled and dimed to death. read more

I had an incredible experience with Elite Bridal! I had heard about them from my cousin who used them for all services possible for her wedding 2 years ago. Since my husband and I were getting married in Chicago, I knew that I wanted to at least check out Elite for their huge selection of wedding gowns. I also chose Elite because they offer a VIP Appointment in which you go in after the store has closed for the day, with as many people as you'd like, and not only do you get to shop and try on dresses privately, they provide limo transportation and refreshments. Choosing to do the VIP Appointment was one of the best things I did in the process of planning our wedding. Elite sent a very friendly driver in a limo to pick up me and my large entourage of 9 people for our appointment. They had delicious finger foods, desserts, and even champagne for a toast before we started! Weeks before my appointment, Elite emailed me to ask what specific dresses I had in mind, what our wedding colors were, and what my future husbands email was. For the appointment they had pulled a few dresses already, set up a display wedding gown and bridesmaid dress, and the cherry on top was the surprise note from my now husband that they gave me to read before I started. It was such a sweet and meaningful touch, and after my cousin read it aloud, there wasn't a dry eye in the house. It just set such a warm, exciting, and intimate tone for the appointment. I probably tried on 14 gowns, but Marvet was so patient and helpful with each one. We tried a wide variety of gowns, just to make sure, and I had a blast modeling them for my family and seeing their reactions. We narrowed it down to 3 and I got to say "Yes!" to the dress of my dreams. It was definitely a day I will cherish forever. We also used Elite for my bridesmaid's dresses and the tuxedos. Every step of the way, Elite was in excellent contact with me and my husband about when things arrived in the store and they were so flexible allowing my mom or aunt to pick up most of the items, as we live in Chicago. Elite Bridal also sells on Ebay. Unfortunately, they do not adequately describe their items so that the sizing is NOT anywhere near accurate. They promise to follow up to resolve the issue, but then fail to follow through. I originally ordered a bridesmaid dress from another company in Chicago, and had been running into huge issues...the dress is nowhere to be found & I feared it would not arrive in time for my friend's wedding. I felt it was a long shot, but I reached out to Elite to ask about rush shipping & other options to order a 2nd dress from them (the wedding is just 7 weeks away). Anne responded to my email within a couple of hours! While the rush shipping wouldn't work out, she explained that I could purchase an in-stock dress & it would ship in time. I gave her my size & the color, and she responded with in-stock options for me just a few hours later. I was able to order a dress and it should arrive in a couple of weeks with plenty of time to get it altered. I brought my wedding dress from Elite Bridal. They were absolutely fantastic!! I walked into my appointment and didn't really have a clue as to what I wanted. The ladies were so wonderful and patient with me as I talked through what I wanted and didn't want. I ended up trying on like 17 dresses that day. Jill was the consultant that I worked with and she was great. As I tried on a dress she would always ask me what I thought and if I wanted to show my family that came with me. She never once made me feel pressured. Jill really listened to how I was feeling and what I liked and would go grab other dresses for me that would fit the criteria for what I was looking for. I ended up walking out with my dress that day and canceling my appointment at another Salon. We also worked with Stacey on the bridesmaids jumpsuits. I didn't like a lot of options and she showed us the jumpsuits and I fell in love with them. Stacey worked with us to make sure the jumpsuits would fit all my girls nicely as there was quite a range of body types. Unfortunately, the jumpsuit I choose didn't come in the colors I was looking for but the Studio didn't know until they went to order them. Ann called me to inform me immediately after finding out. I was not in the area so she worked with me over the phone to resolve the issue. Ann took initiative to reach out to the designer to voice their concerns that they weren't informed and worked with me to find the best alternative jumpsuit. They ended up working out great and looked absolutely amazing on all four of my girls!!! This could have been a major issue and stressors in wedding planning but Ann and the entire staff worked super hard and quick and made it right within days of being notified about the colors!! Seriously within three days of getting the call I had new jumpsuits for the girls and they were ordered based off the measurements they girls had given. I had not seen the jumpsuits in person or on any of my girls until months later. Ann had agreed that if I didn't like them when I saw them later that we could return them at no charge and we will find something I do like. Ann promised that if we need to pick something new they would be ordered on express order. Fortunately, the second jumpsuits were amazing and I didn't have to take her up on that but it gave me such relief knowing that I didn't just agree to something I didn't like. I seriously couldn't have asked for a better dress appointment for myself or ladies to work with to make sure my girls were in top shape! Everyone looked amazing!!!!! Horrible experience for a bride. When I came into Elite I was miss measured twice. The result was when my dress came in, it was huge on me. I am a very small framed girl and made sure to tell the ladies at Elite that I needed to go a smaller size and the bust would need to be very small. Once my dress came in they measured me again to double check the size and they were off 2 inches but claimed it was my fault because I must have lost weight. I was so offended they would put the blame on me and accuse me of loosing weight when that was not the case at all. Upon leaving Elite told me verbally and in writing, to speak with a seemstress to see what they had to say and if they needed to they could order a new dress for me. I told them because of the amount of work the dress needed it would be $500 in alterations. The managers Anne and Sarah were so rude and had no empathy for their mistake and would not help like they said they would. I felt helpless and that they did not care once I took the dress out of the store. I would make sure you know your true dress size before because they WILL mess it up and they WILL blame you and not fix it at all. read more

I had an early appointment at Elite this past Saturday. Needless to say, I didn't know what I had until I left and went elsewhere. This was our first stop and my absolute favorite place thus far to shop for wedding gowns. I had the place to myself because I had a 9am appointment on a Saturday. I had my own gigantic mirror and catwalk. It was the rock star treatment and I loved every minute of it. The next couple places we went to this weekend didn't come close to how amazing this place is! Lauren was my awesome consultant. She was very patient, honest, listened to what we were looking far, and never pushy. I tried on 20+ gowns and she was always happy to help. The appointment started out good. We were all excited, we were taken over to the stage area for the bride's to look at their dresses. Once the consultant found out the budget, things started going downhill. The budget was admitily small, less than a $700. But still the experience was what went South. We understood that you stay in budget, we would have to pick out some options in the bridesmaids dresses. Instead of picking out the dresses and then taking them over to the bride area, the consultant left us alone and put the bride in one of the small bridesmaids dressing rooms. The bride's sister had to help her get in and out of the dresses. And she told the bride that she needs to look at size 16-18, this was wrong, the bride fit in size 12-14 when we put her in dresses to try on. Once we picked out a couple actual wedding gowns, the consultant came back over and offered to take her back the stage area. It was not a good experience. Wow!!! We were in champaign (from Effingham) and saw this quaint little shop for wedding dresses. We're getting married this June and still no dress !! Well we had 45 mins to spare before our dental appointment with our daughter and looked around. Lauren greeted me with big smiles and asked if I needed help looking for that one thing that catches my eye, I told her about the short time and wanted to just browse and if she had anything the was close to some pictures in my phone? She was pleased to help and in 5-10 min she lead to 5-6 dresses that I fell in love with. I called my man in and asked his thoughts and what was his wow factor in these dresses. Well two dresses stuck out for him then out the door we went with an appointment to come back after our dental which took longer then expected and when I got there I wanted to be very quick to try on walked in and Lauren was not worried at all she let me know that we had only a half hour which was more then enough time for me to try on two dresses (which I tried on one twice lol) look in the mirror and choose. No Entourage no one to say yes or no and I'm so not the bridezilla type. I said yes to one of the dresses and walked out very happy. Lauren knew exactly where what and how to help me without a ton of ridiculous nonsense (David's Bridal) I got to browse and look at what ever I wanted the dresses were not in sleeves so you can SEE the dresses.
