The shop itself is large and plenty of room for people to move around and be made to feel special all around. I observed other women trying on gowns and we were quick to compliment each other. People really are the best. Women lifting women up. I think you should add some quotes around your store that empower women. Those statements would be positive for our bodies and our minds. Every woman no matter what size or beauty should be empowered. When I returned to pick up my ordered gowns, the store owner, Kaitlin waited on me. She was short of help this day as sometimes happens in shops because things happen. I felt appreciated for my purchase and would definitely shop here again. Overall, a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this bridal store. Happy Shopping! Cheryl Rainwater

Elite Entertainment and Bridal Salon really came through for our wedding 6/15/19!! We loved…read moreeverything about the services we received from them!! The services that we had used from Elite: 1) I bought my wedding dress and veil through Elite Bridal and my mom bought her Mother of the Bride's dress- my mom and I had so much fun finding my dress there- they have COUNTLESS options for all budgets and styles! If you book an appointment in advance I know there is the option to have a VIP experience, I decided to save some money and just went with a regular visit in the afternoon, during the week, and still felt like a VIP!! All of the ladies at Elite Bridal were wonderful and very easy to work with! 2) We did limo through Elite Limos and originally booked the Escalade limo, for a decent price. However, the Escalade had an unfortunate incident with a deer the week before our wedding but Kaitlin & Ryan were very kind and offered to upgrade us for free to the Party Bus or Hummer Limo- we chose the party bus and it was fantastic! 3) We chose to have our DJ through Elite Entertainment and Jeff Blankenship wound up being our guy! We received so many compliments all night on how awesome the DJ and music was and how no one had ever seen so many people on the dance floor through the whole night! Everyone is talking about how much fun they had at our wedding and I think Jeff & Elite Entertainment had a lot to do with that!! Thank you!! 4) We also chose to do Chiavari Chairs through Elite Entertainment, and they were beautiful!! I received a lot of compliments on how pretty they were and really added to the ambiance in the room! 5) Stacy from Elite helped us order tuxes through Jim's Formalwear and all of the tuxes looked great on the guys and they said they were very easy to order. Many of them needed to order them from out of state or far away (more than half actually!) and they also said it was a very easy process. My husband actually needed a different size jacket and vest when he received his in the mail and when he called Jim's Formalwear to get the new size it came in the mail very quickly TWICE!! He received it in the mail in plenty of time for us to get married. All in all- we would choose Elite all over again for the quality of service that they provided. Every interaction that I had with them via e-mail, phone, or in person was equally as personable and helpful. I have heard that some people in the area don't go with Elite because it's too "pricey" but I disagree- if you choose them for multiple services then you end up getting discounts galore! We actually saved money by going with them for so many things AND received high quality and trustworthy services! We ended up having severe rain all day during our wedding and some things needed to be moved around last minute- my aunt who was acting as our day- of coordinator on my behalf said that Elite was very easy to work with and that between her, Kaitlin from Elite, and Caitlin from the Regent (our ceremony and reception location) everything was taken care of! I can't thank all of the Elite Entertainment & Bridal employees enough for everything! We had the best day ever and I know that was in huge part to all of you!!

With her I figure out I liked modern elegant shapes that complimented my body, and omg were her selections serving body! (I've included photos of the runner up dress.) She was so sweet and patient and even wanted to see pics of the dress I eventually chose. It was a very low pressure environment and I genuinely felt like Mary Grace just wanted me to find THE dress I wanted regardless of where I bought it.

She was very kind and promised change; I am optimistic for the future of her businesses. Thank you for reaching out and for assuring that things can only get better from here! Original: Let me start by saying I have my dress, but this has been the absolute worst part of my wedding planning process. I said yes to my dress here during a trunk show (that I had no idea was occurring). I ordered it in January and was told that, since it was a custom, that it would take 6 months and should arrive in June. June came and went and it was absolutely radio silent. Once it hit the middle of July I began calling once a week to try to get any information. I kept getting told that only the manager had access to shipping and that they would leave my number on her desk so she could contact me- that contact with her never came. I kept calling once a week through to the last week of August when my dress finally arrived. I was so excited and found out I had to make an appointment to come pick up my dress- no try on, no learn how to bustel, or anything. (As a FIRST TIME & NEW bride, I had no idea that bustling was something you learned at seamstresses/alterations). I then got a call a few days later saying that my dress was not up to their quality, that something was wrong, and that they were getting it express remaid and mailed back. I was heartbroken and I had to beg to let them let me see my dress. I had even asked twice over the phone if I could at least try it on since I had NO IDEA what my dress would look like on me. When I went to try it on, the girl tried to tell me that she didn't want me to try it on because it was not up to their standards and I had to keep asking and tell her that I was told over the phone that I could try it on. Against my better judgement, I purchased a veil that day because it fit my dress perfectly and I did not want to fight with trying to find another one. I did not want to give this place any more money. Both the dress and the veil came in October 3rd. As a 'sorry' for the lack of communication, extreme delay in receiving my dress, receiving it in not-perfect condition, and then having to reorder it, they gave me a pair of earrings. I have my wedding jewelry, the sorry was not acceptable and I do not want to represent this business in that way. As a first time bride, I kept asking questions that I thought were pretty typical when ordering a wedding dress for the first time in your life and received answers that were brushed off like common knowledge for everyone. How long do typical bridal alterations take? 'Oh, no more that 2 weeks.' Can I come try it on and can you teach me how to bustel? 'When you go get it altered, they teach you how to do that?' Do you have any idea when my dress could arrive? 'No, only the manager has access to that information.' This wedding studio seems to only be interested in the buy and not interested in making sure they keep customers coming back/spreading positive news about their shop. I tried to keep my mind in the headspace that the timing of the dress getting to me is not their fault, it is totally in the hands of the designer (Colby John Bridal, by the way), but the way this shop went around their lack of/miscommunications was horrendous. I'm so glad to have my dress and put this mess behind me.

I felt very nervous going into my appointment that I wouldn't find anything that fit me, wouldn't feel beautiful in any dresses, or would feel judged for my size. I quickly learned that would not be my experience at Brides By Young. My appointment started with a quick Q&A around my dress preferences, as well as how I envision my day. They also inquired about my budget, and I appreciate their discretion in pulling me away from my guests when they asked me this. After the Q&A, they pulled me several dresses as a starting place. They took me into a spacious try-on area and helped me into one of their specialty bras. After that, they helped me into each dress and made me feel super comfortable throughout the process. They did a phenomenal job clipping the dress to reflect what it will look like when its actually my size. They also did a phenomenal job helping me see the full vision, including straps that I was adding onto the dress, my veil, etc. I dress shopped in early June of 2022 and my dress was in by late November of 2022. My residence is in California, but my wedding is in Indiana (as is my family) and they were super accommodating to my schedule-- including trying to get my dress in to try on when I'm here for the holidays, as well as giving me some extra time to pick it up after it arrived so I didn't need to plan a separate trip. At the dress pickup-- I was BEAMING. Everything turned out perfectly. I felt beautiful and the associates further enforced that with their kindness, as well. I never felt like I was working with a "salesman" or that they were trying to up-sell me, which I really appreciated. All throughout the process, I mostly communicated with Kate for appointments, etc. and she was an absolute delight. She was so friendly and helpful and had a way of making me feel like I had known her for years. This anxious bride truly appreciated how comfortable she and the other associates made me! They unfortunately do not do alterations in-house, but they provided a recommendation nearby and gave me information as to what to expect in terms of timing, etc., as well as recommendations as to some areas I may want to alter. Overall-- I could not have asked for a better place to choose the most important dress I'll ever wear. So appreciative that despite my size, I had a place to find a dress and shop that made me feel beautiful and WORTHY of such a gorgeous dress.

Please, save your money, emotions, stress and time and try to find a different place for your wedding dress alterations. It was NOT a worthwhile or pleasant experience. The alterations ended up being mostly what I wanted, but the issues were customer service, timing, pricing and final result. During each visit except 1, the owner was extremely rude, always had an attitude, seemed annoyed we were there and acted like she hated us. All we did was show up and be as kind as we could. As far as the pricing, we paid over $1,200 for these alterations. INSANE. My dress was that price and it came from a fancy well-known shop in Carmel. We couldn't believe it. At the second visit, NOTHING was completed, and she didn't seem to realize beforehand. It was a wasted visit or maybe not because she wouldn't have realized nothing had been done. Due to their timing and not getting alterations completed in a timely manner, I did not get to pick up my dress until THREE days before my wedding. THREE. Unacceptable. I realized the day of my wedding that the final hem on the bottom wasn't completed, so it was too long and I kept tripping on it. Therefore, they still hadn't completely finished the alterations. I am unsure why I had this experience because at the time the reviews were over 4 stars. It clearly has gone downhill. Don't give this woman your business. She does not care about you at all. Bummer. Horrible stress for something that should be fun and memorable.
