Walked for over 40 min to arrive at your store when it opened at 11am. Sadly it was still not open at 1130am. Looked very cute from the window. read more

Totally recommend! Quality clothing! Great customer service ! A gem on mass ave. There needs to be more boutiques in the area. Parking is the only drawback - downtown meters are a pain! read more

I've lived next to this shop for some time now and decided to check it out. I loved it, the owner was so kind to me and chatted with me about how the clothes fit she really helped me out and was truly such a nice person to be around. The shoes here are so beautiful and unique they always caught my eye in the display window. chunky heels and so many different styles but not too many to where it's over whelming. Definitely check this place out. read more

delightful boutique with fun and cutting edge pieces that are both trend setting and comfortable . love it !

I've been wanting to check this store out for a while now. The window display has always caught my eye so I was excited when I was able to go in during their business hours. Once I was inside I did feel awkward since no one really tried to talk to me at first. It almost made me want to leave but I saw a shirt that caught my eye so I did stick around because I was contemplating if it was worth the $78. Nevertheless, I'm glad I did stick around since the person working there (I'm sorry I didn't catch your name :( ) began to talk to me about the clothes. It was comforting when she talked to me so I appreciated it. She talked to me about how long the store has been open for and the current events on Mass Ave. I found it all very interesting! She also provided me with ideas of what I could wear with the skirt I also purchased. I left happy and overall, I think it's still a nice store that you can go to and check out when you're on Mass Ave. read more

Eclectic stylings galore! Check out this neighborhood gem. (Call ahead to be sure they are open)

Twentysomethings like me come here to try on dresses that are too expensive for us now, and won't look good by the time we can afford them. I suppose they're not that expensive--maybe $250 or so for a Susana Monaco frock. The green dress I tried was soo Hollywood on, with its open-back, widely crisscrossed straps and silky, dark kelly green material. I might have bought it if the plunging neckline weren't so baggy. Maybe. That story goes for many of Sage's dresses, maybe sans this one's particular shortcoming. There's not a huge selection at this Mass Ave. boutique, so you can be quick with the shop. read more

0 stars! I've heard so many amazing things about this Boutique. Unfortunately I went in and I don't think I've ever had a " you're invisible" experience until this. I don't think I have EVER walked into a boutique and not been greeted, asked for help, etc. Unfortunately, I saw and wanted 2 beautiful dresses and gave the benefit of the doubt that eventually, someone will engage with me. I walked around for less then 10 minutes with awkward silences and almost a forced conversation with the other customer in the store from the associate. Customer service and inclusivity is sooo important, needless to say I did not purchase the 2 dresses I really wanted. I couldn't force myself to give support or business to a place that intentionally disregarded my presence in their facility. :/ read more

When I was visiting a friend, I happened upon this boutique. I fell in love with a pair of boots here and I purchased them. Unfortunately one of the boots started to break a little (likely a defect since Emu is quality), but I saw that the brand had a guarantee for replacement. I called Sage boutique and even though I don't live in the area they got me a pair of replacement boots and sent them to me in Massachusetts. Now that is excellent customer service. Thank you. read more

Service here is great, the owner/manager is super nice and helpful. She gave my mom and I plenty of details about the product as we shopped through the store, and she even let my dad bring our dog in to sit around as we shopped. The product is higher priced but definitely quality stuff that justifies the price. Really well made. read more

I pulled into a parking spot on Mass Ave to gather my thoughts and make my plan of attack for the rest of the evening when a glimmer silver in the window caught my eye. A pair of loafers. Window-shopping from my driver's seat didn't suffice as I was even more intrigued by what I DIDN'T see in the window. Out of my seat I go and into an expected Narnia of lavish scarves, boho dresses, on-trend booties. I was greeted by the shop's owner and delightful conversation ensued. I wasn't out and about to shop, but there was zero chance i would leave without something beautiful and unique. Do not forget to scope out her jewelry selection. Swoon. The gems, broaches, baubles and metals are site to see! I left with my silver Free People loafers and a promise to return. (Is two days later too soon?) While the selection is small, it is a transition to the new season... read more

Sage is a beautiful store on Mass Ave in downtown Indy. So beautiful, in fact, that I want to plop my big butt down in the middle of the floor and declare it my own. Yes, I want to kick owner Jessica out and move in to live forever and ever. Now on to the clothing ... The clothes are, how do I say this, BEAUTIFUL! I, however, have not had the guts or the cash to actually pull off buying something. Enter sad face here .... :( I admire the owner's choices of what to bring in to her loft-like space. There's not much to look at ... at all. But that's what makes it feel special. I like to think that these are the clothes Jessica pulls out to show to only her most special guests and customers and friends ... like you've walked into her closet and she's going to share something absolutely stunning and wonderful with only you. NOTE: One time when I was working at a certain newspaper office located a hop, skip and a jump away, Jessica was sooooo gracious to let us borrow a ton of clothing for a photo shoot with some models. I sniffed the clothing the entire walk back to the office. Swear to GOD. read more

Supporting Small Business Saturday! Love this boutique! They have great clothes, shoes and jewelry! Never disappointed!

Yes, it's pricy -- but honestly, I'd like to clarify that pricy doesn't necessarily mean a splurge. Case in point: I got a little black dress there. $375. Boiled wool with the slightest bit of stretch, fits like a freaking glove (and I can't say I have the easiest body to fit). This is not a splurge, but rather an investment. This dress will never go out of style, and as long as I don't eat too many pieces of tiramisu, it'll continue to fit perfectly :) Do yourself a favor and instead of buying 4 crappy Banana Republic dresses that will fall apart in a year, buy one fantastic dress that will last decades (and make you feel like a million bucks). And on a side note, I got a hand-written thank you note from Jessica after my purchase. People like her restore my faith that humanity has not lost all etiquette. I wanted to send her a "Thank You for the Thank You Note" but I figured that would be weird. read more

This store is great. I stopped in for the first time today, and was drooling over the same dress that Jennifer L. did (see photo). Absolutely beautiful... but, like most pieces here, not something that's really in my budget right now, especially since I should be buying holiday gifts for other people instead of myself! Sage carries Saint Grace and Susana Monaco clothing lines... beautiful designs that, as Stephanie T. noted, will stay in your wardrobe for years to come. They certainly all looked like they were very well-made, in terms of both stitching and fabric selection. Ah, one day I will have the budget to purchase items like this, but for now, $40 for a plain tank top or $250 for a gorgeous dress is a little out of my league. read more

Love! Love! Love! Fun and unique styles in shoes, clothing and jewelry. Wonderful to be able to shop somewhere in Indy that is not a typical "box" store. read more

I've been to this store three different times during their regularly posted business hours only to find that the store isn't open. How does she stay in business? Poorly managed business. Very frustrating. Will not be attempting to shop here again. read more

I have been shopping at Sage since the store opened several years ago. Located on Mass. Ave, I noticed it right away, went in and immediately loved it! The atmosphere is very hip, very friendly and beautiful. Jessica (the owner) has great taste, so the clothes are always unique and well designed. All of the clothes I have bought from Sage I still wear even from 3 or so years ago when she first opened. She has an eye for getting designs that are unique but still classic somehow, that is why it stays in style. The fabrics are of very good quality as well. This store is so appealing you want to hang out there, and really spend time trying things on and browsing.... I love it!! read more

Absolutely enjoyed spending my time in there!! The owner was very polite to me while I was shopping around. I purchased a piece of artwork that was on display and really appreciated the owner's kindness and listening where she got her pieces and learning more about this upscale boutique. Yes, it is expensive and no I didn't purchase clothes, but I would definitely come back here because the clothes are classy and I love a good boutique!! read more

I'm from Chicago and am familiar with 'boutique' shopping. I also shop at places like TJMaxx and The Rack. I'm not a "one type" girl. BUT when I want to find something that is unique and special I go the boutique route and Sage is one of my favorite boutiques...even though I have to drive over 3 hours to arrive at Mass Ave! The pieces that Jessica purchases are truely unique and have a style that is 'other wordly'. I have pieces in my closet that I know I will be wearing 20 years from now and they will still draw questions from the people who see me wearing them. On several occasions, I have had people stop me (women and men) and ask where I found such an exquisite article of clothing. I always feel special when I'm "wearing Sage". Thank you Jessica for having the courage to create such an amazing place to shop. The atmosphere is very friendly and Zen like...just like you:) And with respect to the prices for her clothing...for anyone who has purchased real art, they get it...Jessica looks for wearable art so that we can surround ourselves with beauty and function at the same time. It's worth giving up a few cocktails or a dinner out in order to walk out with something that makes me feel fabulous for a very long time. I'll keep making the 180 mile drive for as long as Sage is around. Do yourself a favor and see what Sage is really about:) read more

Wow.. strolled in after Starbucks and fell in love with the shoes. Such a cute place with great vibe. Thumbs up

Bought the cutest fit and flare dress from Sage Boutique. It is a unique dress made with repurposed fabric and a colorful handwoven cummerbund. Love the selection that Jessica has. read more
