I bought a generic apple Techmod charger from them It worked to days then got so hot it was melting the outlet cover and smelt like burning metal. They were more concerned about me not having the receipt than it could have caught fire if we had been sleeping. Corporate solution give me another one. Shoppers World always treats me well with the prices, even if the selections may not be the best. You also don't come here for quality, you come for bargains to stretch your dollar. Not a better spot to find long & short sleeve plain tees (mostly $2) as well shorts (albeit cheaply made) under $10. If I could give a negative I would. This was my first time visiting this store, never been to a Shoppers World, it's also my last! I walked around the store checking out what all they had, one employee was really nice and polite, but then I go to the checkout area and was going to pay for the one item I found I wanted to get, passing the toothbrushes remembering I needed two new ones for my 2 foster dogs when the manager came up to me with an attitude and TOLD me to leave with my dog, I told her he was my service dog, she told me to show her all my documentation that he's my service dog, I told her I had it in my car but she's only allowed to ask me two questions, she proceeded to get high and mighty and more of an attitude and of course I got an attitude and said F this store and went to leave and she called me a Bitch, yes she straight up cussed me. When I took credentials back to the store with me to get her name, she bowed up at me.. yes, she stepped closer to me and was close in my face, as she had her security guard inside at the door. She said she didn't care that I had my proof, she didn't want me in her store after I cussed her.... But it's ok for her to treat customers the way she did??? I told her I didn't want to go back in "her" store I wanted her name, in which she refused to give. It was already almost 5pm, so no places I needed to call was available, so in the morning I'll be calling the ADA, Corporate office and the Attorney General's office. The store wasn't even worth walking into. I attached a screenshot from the ADA website to answer any questions y'all may have about my rights and if the manager was in the right. I was in the store yesterday 1/3/23. I saw the manager bully someone with a service dog! I was in disbelief of how this "manager" was treating this customer. She was yelling and even asked what the persons disability was! I had a cart full of items and I walked right out after this incident. Isn't this against protocol? Not the first time I've seen this lady manager be rude to a customer either. She's always rude and never has a smile on her face. Maybe you should retrain or fire her and your "security" They are absolutely clueless on how to run a successful business. read more

Why have I not been here before. I guess when I received the coupons in the mail, I didn't rally think much of it but I'm in love. I have three young children who are growing like weeds, Shoppers World helps me keep them looking adorable without going broke. In the summer they have a cute selection of sandals for girls and boys. Don't expect them to last too, too long (especially with tons of running around and long days on the playground, etc) but the serve its purpose. The have a great selections for the whole family. Actually, I'm going to stop by and pick up a few basics for my upcoming trip. If you're looking for a few pieces to spruce up your living room, they have furniture too. I like the fact that you can get mobile coupons. All you have to do is send a text right from your smartphone and you'll begin saving even more money right away. The cashier with green hair, all she did was talk to her coworkers.. I bought one thing and it took me 15 minutes from the time ingot my item rang up to leaving .. I had to say "I have to leave, I got to be somewhere so I just need my stuff." So I could leave..!!! I know about her schedule, Jalisa schedule, the older ladies schedule, also how somebody talks to God and how everyone needs to. How the green hair lady has a fr appointment on Thursday and needs to come in tomorrow like what the heck! My service dog and I were denied access to this Shoppers World location because I didn't have my dogs paperwork with me. In the 3 years of owning my service dog, I have never even been questioned let alone being asked to leave the store. Even though I don't have to produce any paperwork to anyone, I keep a copy in the glove box of my car. However, I was with my mother, who doesn't have a copy and nor should she. I politely asked the manager to write down his name and the corporate number on a piece of paper which immediately was met with an eye roll and then scribbles on a piece of register tape (adding pics below). I have attempted to contact the number given multiple times but no human is available to speak with. I left a message and still have not heard anything 24 hours later. Tomorrow I will email and give them until Friday to reply before contacting local news stations. My attorney has already been briefed on the situation as well. No disabled person should ever be treated like I was and I intend to see it through that it never happens again to me or anyone. I wouldn't recommend this "manager" to manage my local dog pound let alone manage people. Absolutely the most unprofessional "manager" I have encountered in all 46 years of my life. read more

This store is the second one in Indy. both are in questionable areas of the city. The first is attached to Lafayette Square mall on the west side and this one is on the South side in the old Target location. It is a discount department type store. It has everything you would see at a Marshalls or TJ Max but might cater to a different crowd? One time I saw a Juicy jumpsuit that had a price tag of $230 marked down there to $29 so not sure if it was a knock off or not but they show no indication that it is....? It's good to get home stuff like rugs, candles, fake plants, decorations, eyelash curler, dishes, or simple stuff where price beats quality as you will replace it eventually anyways and you need something temporarily. Some of their clothes are really cute just not sure how long they will last so beware. read more

Mangers allow employees to put out dirty and damaged goods and offer at 10% discount on them. Disgusting. Some which have actual stains from people trying them on. Cashiers are extremely rude too. One with glasses has a horrible attitude. Don't really know why they would still be open after all this time. Shoppers World owner shouldn't even be allowed to have stores like this. Also during the covid-19 I heard they were selling face masks and not even offering their employees any. Lawsuit waiting to happen. Let's not talk about how they have 0 disinfectant sprays and mop the floors with dish soap. Also selling shirts that they made online with Kobe Bryant's name on it just to make a quick buck was pretty disgusting too. So if I were you, I wouldn't shop here. Nor work. They're really good for school uniforms, reasonably priced and have a good selection. Although, I bought some some bed sheets here once and they were so thin, the material tore some when I was trying to put it on the bed. So, you just have to beware of what you're buying. Sometimes, they have really great sales when they're clearing out stock. Once, they had a Buy 1 Get 5 free on long beaded necklaces, filagree bracelets, and other jewelry items. read more

the one on east street is not a questionable area of town, that area has the lowest crime rate of some of the better parts of Indianapolis, It is called University Highlands, and is very quite and safe, The neighbors are very nice and well established.
