She and the optometrist answered all of my numerous questions and were very helpful in finding me the right contact lenses and even gave me samples. Dr. Tran is wonderful. I've had blurry vision in one eye off and on for years. I was always told it was simply from stress and to let it go. But it got bad one day and was lucky enough to have Dr. Tran take a look at it. He was able to catch something off and turned out I needed very specific treatment from a specialist for a rare eye disease. When the specialist asked how I figured I should see him, I explained that Dr. Tran has caught it. The specialist told me that without the right machines it would be difficult to tell what was going on. And that those machines wouldn't be in Dr. Tran's office. Turns out that's true. Dr. Tran caught my problem and discerned it on instincts and experience. You want an optometrist that is equal parts honest and skilled? Here he is. read more

The receptionist/assistant is very friendly and caring. Great customer service! I haven't got my eyes checked in years and found out my eyesight prescription was double from the last time I got it checked. Dr. Tran uses modern equipments to examine my eyes, he is very nice, helpful and knowledgeable. He is also very patient to explain my eyes issues ( nearsightedness) and make adjustments for my new lenses to optimal prescription so I don't feel headaches or dizziness which is often caused by muscle strain having to work harder than they did before when my prescription has changed significantly. My husband and I both are very happy with our new glasses. More than that, we both really appreciate the level of care that is consistently given. I felt comfortable with Dr Tran because he tells you what and why with everything that he is doing. He is very thorough during the exam. Told me I had cataracts, but that it would be like 7 years before I had to have them removed. Dr Tran is very professional and very nice. When I was looking for frames, Alice (or Ariel, I am terrible with names) was super helpful and patient. She is very polite and totally efficient. She made sure we were taken of. I love the Tiffany sunglasses Dr Tran was able to give me a discount on them! . Both the Dr and Alice are honest and more than glad to be able to take care of us. I came in after working a long shift and noticing my eyes are total crap.. The door was locked, so i stood there like a dummy thinking it was too late. Luckily for me Dr. Thai Tran ran over from the back and unlocked the door for me. I told him i'd come back, but he refused and welcomed me in turning all the lights on as he walked past me and getting me a seat. After expressing my concerns. He without hesitation got me started on the exam the entire time being patient and understanding. He made sure I was aware of what was happening and explained everything being done. When it was finished, which I kid you not was like 10 min or it just felt soo quick and easy, we walked out into the front of the store too look for lenses, I was super worried about money ( Free lancer here, Who can relate lol) he lead me around and asked me what I usually wore. I showed him my beat up black ray bans (a christmas present to myself from years ago). He showed me some ray ban styles, naturally I gravitated to the ugly cheapest ones, but he pulled out a pair he thought would look nice on me I tried them on, instantly fell in love annnnd after looking at price tag with worry saw he had chosen something that was in my budge. SO Kudos for him for not trying to up sell me, cuz I am a sucker. We went over payment etc and it turned out to be waaaaaay cheaper then I anticipated. Paid cash and got them ordered and now just waiting for em!! Honestly best experience I've ever had. Good service and super nice and not weird about lack of insurance. 10/10 would recommend give this shop your money! read more

I needed to find a new optometrist for an eye exam. The last place I went to was horrible making the process feel rushed and I felt my exam was not assessed properly. So this time I took the time to do my research and read reviews. I contacted a few places to obtain a quote. What made me choose this place was the receptionist (sorry I forgot her name) was so nice over the phone. She was patient in providing me with an accurate quote and what the breakdown was. I decided to come here and so glad that I did! I went in simply for an eye exam but turns out Dr. Tran found that I had a pretty bad eye infection. The eye exam got postponed and the doctor really nursed my eyes back to health. I went in for about a weekly checkup for a month, so Dr. Tran can monitor my eyes and prescribe me new medications as he see fit. The doctor really took the time to explain what the medication was for, the healing process and what I should anticipate. He asked me questions and addressed all my concerns every visit. I truly felt I was in good hands and will not be going anywhere else when it comes to my eyes. Definitely recommend this place 10/10! read more

I thought I was BLIND until I came here. I don't even know how I got here.. I live in Nevada! Everything was blurry, like a McFlurry until my appointment w/ Dr. Tran. Awesome Optometrist that allowed me to see the light again, haven't seen my wife in years, now I can see who is feeding me. Life is amazing again. I can see what I am eating and do what I am seeing. He was very attentive to my lack of eye-sight and explained to me X-ray vision is not possible. His hands were very soft to the touch and his words of wisdom explained to me not to sit 3 -inches away from the TV and taking a break from the computer monitor to allow my eyes to adjust and relax. What a cool place! This was one of the most refreshing optometry visits I have had in a while. I happened to be walking by, when I noticed Atlas Optometry, and it occurred to me that I had yet to get my LASIK check up. Pleasantly surprised, I walked in, and they attended to me very quickly. The store is brand new, looks great, and the staff definitely makes you feel welcome. Dr. Tran was awesome with my checkup. Dr. Tran took me in at the last minute on a Saturday which I really appreciated as I was running very low on contacts. The eye exam was by far the most thorough exam I have ever received and Dr. Tran patiently listened to my concerns and answered all questions in a manner I can easily understand. He was really down to earth and easy to talk to. He did not throw around medical jargon like some other doctors I have seen before. To be absolutely clear, if I didn't get an appointment within 24 hours (thanks, Lisa and Tyler), and a correct diagnosis of a detached retina (thanks, Dr. Tran), I would be blind in my right eye right now. What I thought was an allergy turned out to be a detached retina that needed emergency surgery ASAP. Dr. Tran empathetically delivered the tough news to me, and immediately scheduled me with a retinal specialist within the hour. I had a 3-hr surgery with the retinal surgeon to repair my detached retina the very next day to save the vision in my right eye. Dr. Tran and his staff are amazing! Super nice, super professional, and super helpful! He has earned my family's business for as long as I live anywhere near Orange County. Ordered glasses off of www.eyeconic.com and they offer free adjustments with local optometry offices near me. Atlas optometry was listed as one of my options and it was literally around the corner so I gave them a call to see if I would be able to come in to get my frames readjusted so they wouldn't fall off anytime I made some sort of movement. The very kind gentleman on the other end of the call informed me that they had no affiliation with that company or my insurance provider... but he insisted that I come in anyways and get my frames adjusted free of charge. Despite not being my prescribing optometrist--nor being in my vision insurance network, I went in there and was out in no more than 5 minutes with my newly-fit glasses! I have never been more impressed and satisfied with the quality of customer care! Dr. Tran took phenomenal care of me getting an exam and two new pairs of glasses. When I picked up my first pair that was ready, they went out of their way to clean and readjusted my old pair for me! These guys treated me warmly as if I had been a long term customer even for my first visit.
