I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Tran! He is very personable and knowledgeable. I am one of those people who always has a ton of questions for the doctor and Dr. Tran took the time to answer all of them! He also spent a lot of time explaining what all the eye tests were for and I really appreciated that. The eyeglass selection was great. There were so many choices it was hard to choose! I had lasik in the past so all I needed was a small prescription in my sunglasses. Dr. Tran helped me even with the frame selection and fitting, I was very impressed! I will definitely be coming back to Dr. Tran for my annual eye exams! read more

I was referred to Dr. Tran by a friend who was thoroughly impressed by her recent experience at this office. After visiting today, i could see why. Dr. Tran is the most personable, relatable, and down to earth doctor I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Eye exam was super thorough and picking out the frame was painless and fun because all the frames were so organized and nicely laid out. I have been to a few other opticals where they have frames cluttered everywhere which discouraged me from even attempting to look! They have a nice selection of Ray Bans and I was told that Tiffany's frames will be available soon! I picked out a really trendy clear Ray Ban frame with the help of the office manager lady there( can't remember her name). They are going to put my prescription lenses in it for me to pick up in a few days! Super excited! P.s. love their Restoration Hardware-esque decor. read more

These guys are great! I was walking by and noticed they had just opened and took a step inside to see what kind of inventory they had. They asked me how I was doing and I told them my Raybans were missing a screw so I may be looking for another pair. Without hesitation they told me to go grab my glasses and promptly fixed them! I will be back when it is time for an upgrade in style or taste thank you guys! Update: Came in because my screw fell out again and bought another pair. They are super helpful read more

I have been going to this optometry clinical for years now. Each appointment has been wonderful. Dr. Tran is the best! He is very friendly and kind. He explains everything well and is open to answering any questions I have. The receptionist is also very kind and she was helpful in selecting my frames. They have a wide selection to choose from, so she helped me narrow it down to the styles that suit me best. I also had to change my insurance because of my job, and they told me they accept many insurances (best to call ahead and ask though). The inside was very sleek and clean. The frames are also so fashionable. I come here every year for glasses and contacts, and I will continue to do so in the future. My favorite part is how quick I receive my orders. I received my contacts and glasses in about a week! The latest I have ever received anything was less than two weeks, and they're so consistent in the quality and service. read more

Was in need of a new pair of glasses for work since I'm on the computer for very long hours. Thankfully this place was able to take walk-ins and the receptionist, Ariel, was incredibly nice and helpful with getting me set up as a new patient. It did not take long and Dr. Tran was very understanding and explained what was going on with my eyes. I definitely felt relieved about my vision after! Good selection of frames. It did not feel overwhelming. There were different styles (rectangular, round, etc) that you could find from each brand they have. Was in and out fairly quickly and I did not feel pressured to upgrade my lenses or anything. They really took my own vision needs into account :) read more

I was referred by my sister who had a great experience at this optometrist in Costa Mesa. I am happy to say that I also had a great experience here and will be referring other people to Dr. Thai Tran. I absolutely loved their their convenient office hours. I work really long hours on weekdays & it's very difficult for me to take a day off during the week. (it's just the nature of my job) So it was always a challenge for me to find an optometry office that is open on weekends. But this office is open until 7pm on Saturdays so it worked out perfectly for my schedule. The exam was thorough and the doctor answered all my questions very patiently, which I appreciated. They had a nice selection of frames to choose from. If I recall correctly, they carried Ray Bans, Oakley, Burberry, Tiffany's, Michael Kors and some other brands. I ended up getting a Michael Kors clear frame. I will be a returning patient next year for sure! read more
