Do not order ANYTHING from them...I ordered at a $50+ shipping fee because it seemed perfect. The hanging piece GLUED to the back of the mirror disconnected and caused the mirror to fall off the wall within the FIRST week! They responded via email asking for info then when I sent them pics and all documentation needed- they STOPPED corresponding completely. Pay attention to your receipt! I shopped at the Greenville store yesterday and was overcharged on two chairs. I called and was told that they were being marked up due to inflation. But...the price was still on them for $5 less than I paid. I went back today for a third chair and to get the price adjusted on the other two. I bought a total of 7 items today. The chair had to be adjusted for price, and as I read my receipt, I noticed a pillow was $3. more than the sticker price. That then got adjusted too! It might not seem like a lot, but I wonder how many people are being overcharged on a daily basis and never realizing it. read more

I purchased a 10 foot umbrella from At Home. It broke and less than 45 days from purchase. We knew it was pretty cheap to begin with but we thought we give the store a try!I knew it Was a longshot to go in without a receipt. So I pulled up my bank statement from the only time I've ever been in the store. I was hopeful they would swap it out for the same umbrella. It was clear that it was brand new and broken. I spent over $500 in the store and had a cart full to spend another $500 at the store. Really bummed that management cannot see that losing a customer forthousands over $129 broken umbrella- Not worth it. We will never go in the store again. I realize we did not have our paper receipt. But we did have proof of purchase. The umbrella with us in hand and willing to swap out just the broken piece. Goes to show you get what you pay for. I have been to the one in Tulsa Oklahoma and denver Colorado and the At Home store in Chattanooga is so clean and organized compared to the others. Keep up the good work. I ordered a pot online and they did a great job delivering one that was not as described. It's been a nightmare trying to return it. They provided me no receipt, just confirmation of the order, I tried to return it to the local store who would not accept it, nor refund my money and directed me back to their online store. By the way, there's no contact number for this online store. Today I received another charge for the same amount for a product I did not receive. I'm currently working with my bank to resolve this. I will never do business with this store again. The local store offered me a store credit. Why can't they refund my money? Employees at at-home are extremely nice, caring and courteous. But when it comes to employees working at the cash register, they have no knowledge or have not been trained properly to handle customer service. I try to use Apple Cash to make a payment, and the cashier was adamant that they didn't accept Apple Cash. I explained to the cashier that I have paid with Apple Cash at that location previously and not too long ago. Unless they have changed their payment methods within the month. The cashier just stared at me and did not offer any other solution. She would not even press the button for debit card so that I can process my payment on my end. Today, I was very disappointed at the return policy at AtHome. I returned items purchased before Christmas that I did not use and was reimbursed at the current lower price. The cashier told me that it was in the very small fine print in the receipt. I think that if this was above board, the company would have this policy in larger print to inform the customer. Overpriced. The Home Goods just down the street has zero open parking spots and an hour and a half long line....ask me why I know that (wink wink). Clearance areas all over the store and not in a specific area and the clearance discount is t moving product. Greeted at the door and not one other employee spoke. I purchased two king mattresses in August of 2020. Yes, you heard that right, August, of 2020. This is a vacation rental, and only seven couples have stayed, and the mattresses have deep body impressions and pockets. What happened to this place? Garden Ridge used to be a cool place to shop for Christmas stuff, framed artwork, kitchen paraphernalia, and the token candle accessory found in most homes. I was shocked to see what has taken its place since my last visit a couple of years ago. The first thing I noticed is the shopping baskets. They are housed outside and are nasty. Picture rusty metal and weathered plastic parts. I nearly jogged thru the store so little Rooster didn't have to sit in it for fear of death. Amazingly, they still have inflatable Christmas and Halloween yard ornaments. Was it last years; or are they just planning ahead? The snack bar is long gone as is the plastic plant section including the famous ficus forest. I didn't see much craft stuff either. New to the place were scrubs by the 1000's. A few steps further I encountered bras and panties. WTF? Where's the gaudy knight armor figurines? How about 472 different kinds of photo frames? All the departments seem to have shrunk down to a couple of isles. Is this the next location for the South Austin flea market? You obviously realized I haven't been here for awhile; but the change is staggering. The building is awful like stucco pieces falling off the front. One check out stand that doubles as sales and returns had the few patrons standing around for 30 minutes. I'm sensing the end is near for this location; with advice to make it one of those 72 hour blowouts! read more

Visited this store for the first time yesterday. When you walk in you think it's a nice place. My son wanted to purchase an item that rang up $49.00. I noticed it had a sticky label over the price so I removed the sticker. Underneath the sticker it said $34.00. I noticed this on more items throughout the store. Brought it to the stores attention and the lady just smirked. What a horrible place!!! At Home Most of the things here are really cheap and poorly made. However, some of the kitchen gadgets and items are good quality. That said, I won't be coming back here alone. Safety for Women If you're a single woman, be really careful here. I've been followed both times I've come here-- on two separate occasions (once this summer and once this past weekend) by older middle aged men who were clearly not there to buy anything. The first time, I thought it was just one creepy person but after my second encounter, there might be something going on here. In both instances, the older men had no carts or anything in their hands and tried to get close to me multiple times while I shopped in empty isles towards the back of the store. I also saw another man who seemed to be doing the same to another woman this weekend as well. The store employees don't monitor or walk through the aisles here so you're kind of on your own. In both instances, as soon as I started walking to the front of the store or towards other shoppers, the men disappeared. This location is literally right off the highway and the parking lot doesn't feel super safe even in broad daylight. Be really careful if you come here alone. read more

This was the first place I ventured out after quarantine. I wanted some planters. I waited until off hours and the store was not crowded. In spite of that store associates were incredibly rude. There were no other customers in the area but I somehow was in their way. They did NOT distance, moved my cart (instead of asking me) and when I tried to stay 6ft away, one of the told me not to come there if I didn't like it. Guess I will take his advice, won't be back. Man can you get lost in here. They literally have everything you need for your house. Aisles and aisles of pillows and chairs and you name it they have it. It will take you hours to go through the store. I do appreciate that they have our all holidays coming up. They are a little pricey for what they are worth and you can definitely look else where, such as $20 toss pillows but they do have great choices. Cashier was quick and knowledgeable and I liked that it was kind of empty in the store. One thing I also didn't like as how small the aisles were. If we were on the aisle by no means could another cart get in there. But all in all a very relaxing place to shop and get what you need and what you don't need! read more

Explains why the parking lot is W I D E open I want to like this place and frequented Garden Ridge quite a bit when it was here. The Manager of this store is NUTS! I mean just awful. I have come in and purchased on three occasions and each time she is hovering around up front not helping customers rather hassling them for one reason or another. I am taking time to write this review because that is how awful she is. I came in on Sunday to purchase a lampshade, well $185 later and the cashier had to pick off the stickers on every little item to scan the bar code, then she said "oh we ran out of bags..."sorry, then because this ordeal took her about 30 minutes to check me out with a line a mile long. The manager, I believe her name is Helen, did nothing but hassle customers, about everything! Arguing with them! Finally, after my items have been rung up 30 minutes later with seething people waiting in line thinking it is me, the cashier says, "I can get you a coupon..." I guess she realized I was annoyed, she leaves the register to ask this Manager if she could give me a "coupon" and I literally waited 10 more minutes while the manager was arguing about that with her employee...unreal just go to Home Goods, Target or Amazon this place is a nightmare! read more

I'm upset because my dad bought an inflatable Santa at this location about a week ago. 3 days after taking it out the box and setting it up it stopped working properly. My dad decided to go ahead and try and exchange it for one that works. Once it came time to exchange it they asked him for an ID. My dad is not from here so he doesn't have an American ID/drivers license so he went ahead and gave his foreign ID instead. He was told he couldn't do the exchange because that's not a valid form of ID. Which doesn't make any sense whatsoever. In the ID it shows his current address, his picture, valid date of the ID and personal information. It's a perfectly good form of ID. How come he can buy from the store but can't make an exchange for a faulty item the store is selling? I want for him to get a full refund in the item he purchased. I wanted to buy a Police Box CD organizer (as the website description calls it) & see if there's any way At Home could work w another location & help me have it shipped from Texas to Vermont, the TARDIS being half but worth full price to me, damn there internet for saying it's not available!!! I asked to speak to management & Richard is who was sent out. Oh yay. He tells me At Home doesn't ever ship & walks off. I saw this for $140 last year. I felt like these two employees deserved some recognition for their kindness, consideration, professionalism and efficiency. Vanessa and Racheele were both friendly, courteous, and made sure all my questions were answered when my purchases were made. Garden Ridge should be renamed "China Ridge". It's a clearinghouse for only the cheapest, bare minimum products produced by our friends on the west side of the Pacific. We went looking at reclining chairs. Believe it or not, one of these junky $100 chairs has more things going for it than anything I've found at upscale furniture places. I reconsidered how long it would live, and am still on the hunt. They did have some outdoor furniture that looked just like a line that was at Target, and it was stupid cheap. Garden Ridge used to be the party place with a great deal on balloons, party favors, plates, whatever. They don't do that any more. read more
