Blow ups for Christmas
Holly O.

This is a great place to go for home decor. They have pretty good prices on trash, cans, rugs, lamps, and all kinds of things. My favorite time to go is Christmas time to get a couple new ornaments and see what they have. You can also pick up a couple of gifts here I have found that it's one of the more affordable places to get replacement cushions for outside furniture. Also, it's very easy to do returns here. My only complaint is that all of their shopping carts seem to have a problem.

So festive! Merry Christmas.

I love this store during the holidays. Alot of fun Christmas decorations available and all on display. The staff is always so nice and helpful.

3 bell staff

I purchased the 3 bell staff for mom's garden. She loves it as it rises out of a lily plant creating an illusion it is blooming.

I waited patiently and and was very excited to receive my 24inch base just to get one that looks like it was used for years! this is exactly how I received it fresh from packaging scraped up and dented I'm very disappointed and will not be shopping here again.

I only first visited an At Home store in the past few months. I was looking at Halloween decorations online and came across At Home. There is a location fairly close to me so I decided to go in person. Upon first glance everything is super cute. I expected pricing to be akin to Hobby Lobby or Michael's. Boy, was I wrong! There are no coupons that I am aware of, no weekly deals, no super cheap clearance sales advertised. While I was able to snag a one time 15% coupon for my first purchase I have no received any additional coupons, which makes me sad. I did post of pic of a one day 15% off coupon benefitting Habitat for Humanity, but have found nothing else. I just feel like with so much competition on holiday decoration department you would think there would be some good deals to be had at At Home. I also think they are severely understaffed. As some other reviews noted, I was never greeted or asked if I needed help on any of my 3 visits to 2 different locations. The only interaction I had with a staff member was during checkout. Many of the aisles are haphazardly organized.

Now, the real star: the gluten-free baked goods. We tried four different things, cookies included, and honestly? I was stunned. The flavor, the softness, the balance, nothing felt like a "gluten-free compromise." It tasted like the real deal, maybe even better. Not overly sweet, not dry, not crumbly, just genuinely delicious pastries that happen to be gluten-free. I don't know what magic they're working in that kitchen, but this is easily the best gluten-free bakery I've come across. A must-visit, no question.

Every piece in the store appears to be intentionally curated. Maaribu melds a home and gift shop with an in house café and bakery, creating an experience that's both relaxing and memorable. According to Mable, my server, Maaribu is a combination of the word Marfa (Texas town that has the Prada store) and Malibu. The brand is often described as combining Marfa's creative spirit, Malibu's laid back lifestyle, and clean Scandinavian design. The shop portion of Maaribu is beautifully styled, featuring furniture, décor, books, and gifts that have a modern flare. All the items are easy to peruse and get drawn in. The use of color is playful and engaging. Maaribu's key highlight is its café and bakery. The in house café has an assortment of coffee, wellness beverages, and dedicated gluten free baked goods. I bought a Rose honey latte, which was divine along with a multi-layer pastry. Mable said customers enjoy the quality and flavor of the pastries...scones, muffins, cookies, brownies, and egg bites are frequent favorites. Importantly, the café is reported to be fully gluten free, which makes it a standout destination for people with celiac disease or gluten sensitivities, without sacrificing taste or variety. The outdoor seating and patio area add to the charm, making Maaribu a great place to enjoy coffee and pastries on a nice Austin morning. After years in Austin, I finally discovered Maaribu--a modern, eclectic coffee shop and store. Every item is thoughtfully curated, blending a home-and-gift shop with a café and bakery for a relaxing experience. Maaribu's café is fully gluten-free, featuring quality pastries like scones, muffins, cookies, brownies, and egg bites, as well as wellness drinks and coffee. Outdoor seating makes it a perfect spot to enjoy coffee and pastries on a pleasant Austin morning. Wow...Maaribu!!!

I recommend coming during the week but often times on the weekends the management will run specials and give a percentage off for shoppers. I would consider checking their social handles for events. I have seen several themed events that last from open to close such as summer events, mother's day, and even recently a Halloween (or holiday) themed promotion to get you inside and browsing. No need to remember vendors or take down names or booth numbers.
