This place is terrible. Ive wasted an entire Sunday here over 4 hours. This is my third time coming into this store. They still cant get my order to me. NOV. 17th was the second time I came in here- wasted 5 hours. They said theyd have things organized within 48 hours on my account and set an appt for me for the following Tuesday at 10:00am. my elderly father purchased a cell phone from this store a few days ago and was given an opened box with broken seal and clear tape while he paid for a new phone. When he went home and inspected the phone he noticed minor scratches on the screen. As he went back to seek a resolution for his issue he was treated horribly by the store manager Alex Sharp who obnoxiously interrupted and belittled my dad. I went today to the AT&T Retail Store at Ynez Road to upgrade my Apple Watch. Even though I had an appointment, I had to wait for 15-20 minutes, so making an appointment is not really a great advantage. A young lady came (named Crystal) to take care of me. I asked for the model I wanted and she went and got it quickly. That was the only good thing that happened. When she began to process the purchase, I told her that my current watch had a trade in value and I wanted that credited to my purchase. She said that they were not doing trade in's. I had to show her that the AT&T Webpage had trade in's for Apple Watches and also that they are valid both online or at the store. I had to wait for her to get her manager because he also said that there were no trade in's. Well, when I showed them the evidence, they had to honor the trade in. For that I had to wait half hour. When restarting the sale process, I asked her clearly if I had to erase my current watch and she said yes. But, when she was going through the processing, she needed the old serial number to move the cellular line number to the new watch. So, we had to reconnect the freaking old watch again. She asked me for my iPhone to process that and she started to show anger and frustration. She dropped the phone on the table with very little care and I had to tell her to be careful with my phone. At that point I got really upset and it was noticeable. She took another 40 minutes to complete the whole process to activate the new watch and finish the deal. I can understand that an employee maybe new to the job. But, instead of saying no to a customer, that knew what he was talking about, you better check your own company website, be effective and keep the customer happy. She got frustrated and looked very unprofessional. This is not the first time I have a bad experience at this store. Every time we go to get new devices, there are issues and agony to get things done. I came because it is close to home and I thought that this purchase would be easy. I was mistaken. If you want a new Apple device, go to the Apple Store. Avoid this store. One star is too much for the experience I had. So my Wife and I had to upgrade our phones with AT&T this week. The associate also gave us U-verse TV even though we really did not want it and put us on a auto pay program for U-verse even though we spacifically said "NO AUTO PAY PROGRAMS" BIG Mistake, we were told it was programmed to our local Spectrum service. "That was a LIE, A BOLD FACE LIE" We were given two boxes and only one of which worked, but not as promised. We were given directions how to set up but not how to use or program. Plus it needs a CAT5 cable and internet access to operatate (Poorly) "At least not as promised." We returned one box already the one that did not work and I am about ready to return the second one and sign up with Spectrum Cable TV again. For me U-verse TV is a "CRAP PRODUCT", I do not recommend purchasing this worthless AT&T product. Totally Disappointed in AT&T and the unethical, deceptive, misleading sales tactics use by AT&T associates to make a sale. Now I am being told by a different store that AT&T is abandoning U-verse TV So I went to upgrade my phone at AT&T. The unethical sales person also gave us two U-verse TV boxes (that we did not request) with no operators manual. I had to return one box because it did not work without a CAT5 cable. *This review is not regarding the AT&T store itself, but the horrible lack of cell service for several days* All four of our family's phones have not been able to make or receive calls when in our general area (French Valley, Temecula, Murrieta) since 8/4/22. Eight days so far. It has been not only frustrating and inconvenient, but has caused several safety issues with my teenagers. I have seen many people complain about it on social media, so I have tried being as patient as possible. The lack of cell service became VERY DANGEROUS today as I drove up to the scene of a SERIOUS AND MAJOR CAR ACCIDENT, and could not call 911!!!! Nobody else was there to call! I kept trying to call. It connected, but I couldn't hear anyone on the other end. The dispatcher, sheriff and CHP all tried calling my phone back- and couldn't hear anything when I answered, and either could I!! THIS IS SO UNSAFE AND UNACCEPTABLE. Our whole town has been affected. It was apparently supposed to be fixed yesterday, but nope! Today after I eventually found someone else's phone that worked to call 911 and assisted the scene of the accident, I came home to call 611. I couldn't call from my phone, but my husband's worked at the time. After waiting through the phone tree and on hold for several minute I began speaking with an agent, when the call failed and I could not call back because my husband's phone wasn't working either. I drove down to the Temecula AT&T store to raise my concern. John was professional and noted my account. He said there was no more he could do other than note the account. I look forward to somebody from AT&T contacting me back that can address this MAJOR SAFETY CONCERN. If our community cannot call 911, it's a HUGE problem. read more

Crooks. Purchased a new iPhone 15 and the sales person Zeltzin E. kept asking me to buy an iPad for one dollar. I kept saying no. Then she asked one more time why not it is only a dollar. I said okay and took it for a dollar. Then I went on vacation. When I got home I wondered why my bill was $425 dollars. I looked and part of the reason is that there is another charge of 22.99 per month for the iPad that they did not tell me about. I went to the store on July 9th and they told me the manager was not there and to come back. I went to the store again today July 11 and they refused and said it was past the 14 days or the 30 days. I asked for the manager and they said he was busy and the assistant manager Alex came and said it was over 30 days. I said, not it is just 30days. Then he said it had to be 14 days to return it. I looked on back of receipt and it said 14 or 30 days. It was bought for a dollar on 6/12 and today is 7/11. I was told by the 611 number that this is a franchise and they cannot help. Updating my review to 1 star now because they screwed up on my bill and charged us extra for 3 months without my knowing or bothering to fix it. The phone that was sold to me had bricked, so I had to get a receipt. Now, I'm a reasonable person and I know that a bricked phone isn't AT&T's fault. I just had to get a copy of the receipt so that I could send my phone to the manufacturer and have them repair it. When I got the receipt from the 1-800AT&T rep (who was nice, unlike these Temecula jerks), I got super pissed all over again. You see, when I bought my phone back in January 2016, I told them that I didn't want insurance for my cell phone. Yeah, it's a risky move on my end, but so what, I don't plan on keeping this phone forever since all electronics get dated after 2 years. Yet, they charged me $30 extra a month for this when I specifically told them I didn't want this. They took it off after a few months when we let them know. I wasn't aware of this charge because the bills are under my dad's name and he didn't catch it until later. It's partially his fault for not being keen on the bill, but I can't say it's completely his fault because when I got a hold of the original receipt...it shows that we DID NOT ACCEPT CELL PHONE INSURANCE! So basically we got charged almost $90 extra for something that didn't we didn't request! Also, it shows that my commission didn't go to Cameron (who actually helped us), but that rude, condescending jerk who basically walked out on us and told Cameron to help us out! I'll give you guys a hint of whom I'm talking about: he's Filipino and his name starts with an "E". He was completely disrespectful, especially to my dad! I don't know if they have the same employees who "helped" us a year and a half ago, but I really hope that these guys were fired or work elsewhere that doesn't include client-facing customer service. I've been to AT&Ts in Fallbrook and San Diego and the people I've met there are much nicer and not rude. Seriously avoid this place like the plague. Juliet helped explain everything, answered all of our questions and helped us set up everything! I got a quote online but decided to call the store to see if maybe they had the phone and I could do my service there Kristy Elwell answered the phone and her tone was so welcoming and she said come on in I'll add you to the wait list if you don't mind waiting a bit they were busy but would love to help me. When I walked in there were absolutely no customers and 5 employees, and yet I made my way through half the store until someone finally offered assistance. I needed assistance trying to merge my bills, the employee simply kept trying to push the idea not to do the merge....turns out because he doesnt know how to do it (either that or he was too lazy to call it in). I have merged bills in the past, and AT&T associates usually assist in calling it in...not here apparently they were way too busy (again an empty store). The employee that was helping me also kept playing on his phone, paying little attention to my questions. Also, he tried to pull my account up using my number and couldnt. I asked him to help me figure out why my account wasnt associated to my cell number, and he literally told me to walk outside and call their billing department.
