When I first stepped in, I waited at the door for maybe 10 minutes for someone to come greet me. Not one single person did with all the employees in the store. I used to be all about in person interactions versus calling AT&T to get services set up. But this experience at this store sucked. The guy was friendly but it seems as if they're all about sales. I brought in my own iPad to add to my account for my daughter and when I got my bill it was $85 over than was it was suppose to be. The guy told me it would only be $10 more. When I called customer care after I received my bill. They said it's actually $20 not $10. Additionally, she said they set up my new line as an iPhone 7 not the IPad and that's why I was getting overcharged almost $100. In the end because he was probably trying to increase his sales GP by putting it as an iPhone, I got over charged $85 but was credited $75 by customer service. So I lost out $10 for his careless act. OK so let me start off with saying this store location is amazingly big. I'm impressed how huge it is and the selection there seemingly really well for the customers to be able to come and check it out. It does seem roomy, like you could feel at home. That being said, I came here with my Deaf friends because he just simply wanted to return an accessory. We spoke to this black man (should have gotten his name) and I was hoping that he could be as accommodating as he can be but NOPE, he was rude and oppressive right at the start by asking "Does anyone here know how to speak?". Normally, I want to empower my friend to handle the business by himself but I had to interpret what he was saying and my friend was a bit disappointed and he was hoping that he could handle the business himself. Further ado, I asked if I could go on and interpret and speak and he accepted. The whole situation has become so confusing and we had to learn the return window policy, it was not right, nobody told my friend ANYTHING. So whoever that rude man was not friendly and accommodating AT ALL, asking if anyone could speak, he does NOT empower anyone to handle the business. We left after learning all the policy thing. Absolutely the worst service. The Manager on duty tonight, Oliver, refused to exchange my daughter's leaking glitter phone case for anything other than you guessed it ANOTHER glitter case. Even after I explained to him that I'm not putting the same kind of case on my daughter's phone after the first one burned her! He wouldn't even exchange it for the same priced case from the same manufacturer but a different non liquid design!! Even the sales girl I was working with admitted it was ridiculous. Worse AT&T store I have ever been to. I have been with AT&T for 9 years and have never had customer service as bad as this store. First bad experience was I ordered a phone for store pick up and kept getting the run around and finally was able to pick it up 10 hours later. Pick up usually doesn't take longer than 2-3 hours. I had to call to get them to manually "approve" my pick up that was already paid for. 2 Days later I do the same thing with buying another phone for my wife for in store pick up and get an alert this time an hour later the phone is ready for pick up. She goes to pick it up and they take almost an hour with her just to release the new phone which is already been paid for. She provides ID not once to them but twice. Then she specifically tells them to not activate the new phone that we will do it ourselves when we get home. Low and behold her old phone stops working mid way drive home and now we are stuck with two bricks(not working) phones. We would of went back but they were already closed so we could not go back to the store to get it resolved and AT&T customer service center was closed as well. So now we have to go back the following day to get her new phone activated. I can not emphasize enough how lacking of training this store has and how they treat customers with lack of attention to detail. You will get short responses when you call in and lazy attitudes. I can go on for days with the experience I had here. A district manager needs to re-evaluate this store and really get things fixed. They seems to have a high level of lack of training here. This store has several of the worst employees I've ever come across. They sent us home with non working new phones after spending over 2hr purchasing the new ones. They sent us home with a phone number to call to fix it ourselves. I asked why they couldn't do it, but was assured many times that it was a 5min call and we could fix the new phones ourselves. After a entire day (over 7hr) spent trying to do the job we called the store again. My wife is a hard working nurse and she was spoken to by Joel the manager with many cruel and condescending language. He caused her to cry for several hours. I've never seen or heard anyone that has ever made her cry on the phone. He placed the blame on her for "not knowing the difference between hardware and software" I cannot believe someone like Joel is given a management job and instead of helping customers, places the blame on them. It's been three months since i went to this store...the reason why Ive decide to write my complaint is because i think people should be informed about this store. The lady who help me was very nice when I first came in to upgrade my iphone. I purchased the bogo deal, buy one get one free. Everything was ok I thought, until i found out that I got lied to, by this woman, Samantha. I called At&t first. I question them about the extra charges of $14.95, I then found out that this charges was for buying accessories. I told att, I have one but Samantha says, its free though. I even questioned her multiple times. Are u sure? She said yes. She said its part of the promotional tingi...so At&t told me to go back to that store to return it, if i didnt wanna keep them. Guess what, when I went in, one of the guy there told me that there was no free promotional accessories being given to customers...so i told him, so i was lied to, by Samantha? He said no if I agreed to buy them..Thats the thing, I only agreed to get the cases, because she said its free. Who wouldn't want a free phone cases. Long story short, I ended up with a one year contract for this 2 cases, plus a $59.00 wireless wifi...my fault for trusting her...I usually am very careful when it comes of signing contracts...she got me with her sweet talk... This store is a complete joke from the Store Manager Charlie down to the sales staff. They sold me a Samsung A10 and the Face ID wouldn't work. The phone was defective and the answer from the Store Manager was that I had to exchange for another phone or he would charge me $55 on a $116 purchase. To add insult to injury they didn't cancel my account properly and I'm getting a bill. Store Manager and associates walk around and stay in back room while they have customers waiting. When a manager only cares about selling and does not listen to customers' expectations after a product is sold, this AT&T location certainly hired the perfect manager to make customer(s) feel unwelcome. I guess you can't expect much from retail personnels who lack genuine tact and decorum--this coming from its current manager Charles (African American). Basically, this is what my impressions are of this manager: 1. Pugnacious and combative; power trip 2. Unwilling to troubleshoot a customer's problem to benefit the customer. 3. "I am right, you are wrong" "That's just the way it is" attitude. 4. Scare Tactic and Intimidation style explanations to dissuade customers from making changes. 5. Unreassuring to make one feel miserable and helpless. 6. "Leave because I don't really want to help you" demeanor. A manager is supposed to close the gap between customer concerns and resolution. You did not do your job and says pretty much a lot about your upbringing, lack of professionalism and character. Again don't expect much from cell phone retail store manager. As a 20+ year client I get that I may have some assumed benefits but after 30 minutes of waiting i have to admit I didn't feel very special. I was there to buy a new iPhone for my wife. My son and I were number 2 on the board right behind Lulu who became my advocate/friend as the minutes ticked away. 20 minutes passed and as I could see employees finishing up, then they would conveniently not make NO eye contact and disappear to the back. 10 more minutes passed and Lulu and I get the odd head nod or custom "be right with you" 45 minutes and it All changes when Julia came to address my frustrations. It didn't start well, I didn't want to be "that guy" so we allowed each other to speak. She did an excellent job listening and I really felt she cared. We did our business and she made great recommendations as I am Android user (although I own Apple stock so keep drinking the kool-aid and buying your accessories). Scammer sales people! On Black Friday of 2018 I purchased a new iPhone, the sales lady told me that they had a promotion in which I could chose 3 accessories for free and just had to pay the tax. I chose the items and paid. Some months later i noticed my bill was pretty high. I shrugged it off as typical Att fees that keep going up. I decided took I to it and it turns out the sales lady set me up for installment payments for the items, she never once mentioned installment payment during my hour long visit to this store. I guess she was trying to make a higher commission by scamming. Pretty pathetic. I contacted att and they told me there's nothing I can do since I've already made many multiple payments. Avoid this store if you can. Seems like the sales people don't know what they're doing or are looking to scam customers for commission. read more

Run - do no walk - from this store, or any ATT store for that matter. The company has altered their sales protocol overall. In addition, the Temecula store manager is either greedy or burdened with vastly unreasonable quotas. The sales people have been trained to upsell you on products and services. Beware - once you enter you are a victim. They will get you one way or the other. I went in 3 separate times asking about the new shared data plans. Was told exactly the same thing by 3 different associates - which made me trust the information. I changed, and the information presented was outright lies. To reiterate - 3 different sales people told me the same thing so they HAVE been coached on what lies to tell. Even if you are super sharp and have a master's degree, doctorate, whatever - they will STILL get you. I encourage any conversation to be recorded for your own protection if you insist on entering this store. Also - if your sales person seems to be taking a long time attending to what you came in to do....is either fumbling, bumbling or stalling - that's a really good sign that they are trying to work the conversation around to things they need to talk you into buying. It's not because they are new and don't know how to ring up your new phone - it's because they're new and can't remember how to work in the upsell or are nervous doing it. The data plan situation I mention above is only one of a number of poor experiences I've had at the store, as I do believe in second chances and not jumping to conclusions. My last trip in there - I was told I could NOT QUALIFY to buy a new phone unless I signed up for the security system. Wow. Finally - when I went in to the store to buy the phone - there were 6 other associates AND the manager just standing around. It was a weekday evening and no one else was in there. He listen to my issued and referred me back to the 611. Where has customer service gone, especially from a supervisor. Good customer service will try to assist the customer. This supervisor should be trained better on how to help customers. I've been to a different AT&T store in San Diego regards a similar issue and the supervisor there took the time and called the 611 number for me. I made the switch to Direct TV from Dish. What a MISTAKE! If you're thinking about doing this, please save yourself the time and frustrations and don't do it. These people will lie to you. It hasn't saved me money at all. If anything, it has raised my monthly bills. When I signed up with Direct TV I was dealing with Josh. He gave us bad information, lied about our channels, and payments. Then when my dad and I went back to ask him about it, he hid in the back room and wouldn't come out to talk to us! As soon as you make the switch to Direct TV you're on your own. Good luck getting tech support and or customer service. It just simply doesn't exist! I also had to buy a new phone. I went there last week for some assistance because my mom has their service and received a new phone as a gift. We just needed to switch the phones and were told it would be an hour to wait to be assisted we said ok and waited. When the hour was up we went back to the table and asked how much longer. The extremely rude woman there said another hour. We explained that we had just been told it would be an hour originally and now another hour? She was so rude in her demeanor and kept asking the same stupid question asking if we wanted to make an appointment for another time. She never apologized for the extra wait time. When I told her that her coworker should have told us is could take two hours or more to get help her response was literally a snide "noted". Who in the world answers customers in that manner?
