My wife and I went to the Sunglass Hut in the Temecula Promenade Mall today. We were buying glasses for my wife. There were three or four young ladies in the shop. All of them were very helpful and very nice. I believe their card computers were down, but they remained helpful and courteous. Under these circumstances, it would be very easy to be overwhelmed and short with customers. These young ladies (we are old enough to be their parents) conducted themselves in a very professional manner. Shout out to the Sunglass Hut Ladies!! I do not recommend buying anything from here if you are not satified with your item. It looks like a common thing they try to do is say you scratched their glasses and you cannot return them. Nancy is the manager, she gave me the hardest time about 2 glasses that was purchased from them. They use the same cloth to clean all their glasses, I wouldnt doubt it scratches all your lenses. The staff is very professional but they will mislead you in the end. They dont value a happy customer. Please save yourself some time by not upsetting yourself with a purchase from here. read more

Bought 7 pairs at this location before, had a problem with some Ray bans and wanted to return. Only I couldn't because there was a scratch, only had for 5 days. Never seen the scratch when purchasing. Stuck with a 230.00 pair I dont want. So much for loyalty as a patron. Never again, over price commission based salesman. There's many other places out there that you can buy these glasses for much cheaper. Drop the middle man stay away from this place. Shop amazon at least you can return if there's an issue. I bought a pair of $515.99 ($558.08 with taxes) sunglasses from the Temecula Sunglass Hut in the Promenade Mall. At the time I purchased them I was told the display was the last pair of those particular sunglasses. I was assured by the salesperson that I could return them within 30 days and get my money back if I was dissatisfied with them. Because they were the last pair I also bought the protection plan just to be on the safe side. After leaving the store, I realized the sunglasses were not very comfortable and I brought them back for a return along with the sales receipt and protection plan paperwork. The Sunglass Hut representative, Gabriel, told me there were 3 large scratches on the lenses. I asked to see the scratches but I could not see even one small scratch, let alone 3 LARGE scratches. Gabriel later said there were 4 large scratches. When I told him he first said there were 3 and now he's saying there are 4, he flippantly said, "Whatever". Whatever?!! How rude! He couldn't even point to one, he simply showed me the inside part of the lens and said, "There", ignoring me when I questioned the so-called scratches. He couldn't point to them because there were none! The glasses are in perfect condition as I pointed out to Grumpy Gabriel. Gabriel still refused to do anything for me, insisting they were scratched but unable to show me where. I believe the Sunglass Hut's return policy is a scam and they will do or say anything to make a sale and not honor their return policy. Let the buyer beware when making a purchase from Sunglass Hut and telying on their verbal return policy. I still have some follow through that I need to do, including having my credit card reverse the charge. But, after this experience, I will never buy anything from any Sunglass Hut again. read more

Before our trip to Vegas back in April, my husband thought it was time we got new pairs of sunglasses (we get a new pair every year). He fell in love with a pair of Persols and he convinced me to get Coach sunglasses even though I don't like Coach, the fit looked good so I got it. The lady behind the counter was helpful and didn't force us to get anything, she was patient with me trying on 15 pairs before deciding on one. My husband knew he wanted a Persol so he wasn't as indecisive as me. We got insurance on them so that if they're broken or cracked or anything, they can fix it or replace it for free. Unfortunately, 3 months later, my husband lost his Persol while kayaking so he couldn't get it a free replacement, but he came back for the exact same one. In total, we've spent a total of $600 at this place this year alone, I wonder how much it will be later in the year, because I'm sure my husband will lose his one way or the other. read more

I went to Sunglass Hut in the Temecula Mall this morning to buy 2 pairs of Maui Jim's with a Rx lens. When I asked the "gentleman" if he knew which ones came in Rx lenses, he said he had no idea and to just look around. Since I had been on the Maui Jim website, I knew which ones I wanted. When I asked if he had the Kahuna, he looked it up and said he'd never seen them before and just stared at me. There was no one else in the store. Whoever that guy is should be fired. He's the least helpful, least knowledgeable salesperson I've ever met. I will take my business elsewhere where they appreciated their customers. read more

I bought a pair of Rayban Wayfarers and I've loved these sunglasses. I used them for hiking so much and been through a lot with them on active duty. Unfortunately, a screw came loose and I completely lost it. I didn't know how to fix this without that screw and so I just walked into Macy's to check out the Sunglass Hut and Laura was so welcoming and friendly to me. She listened to what my story had and she immediately began fixing my Raybans. Within 5 minutes she had not only replaced the pin and reattached the sunglasses together, but also cleaned them up better than I've seen since I originally purchased them! This review could have gone a completely different way but because Damon went out of his way for us I wanted to commend this location for it's customer service. I bought a pair of sunglasses back in February and 4 months later (30 days past their 90 day return policy) the lens popped out. This location still gladly exchanged them out. Another month goes by and the NEW sunglasses I received had it's lens pop out too! Clearly defective with 2 pairs loosing a lens within 5 months. We went back in and had a heated conversation with the manager about their return policy with him saying his hands are tied and we need to contact the manufacture to determine if it's defective. We left angry and had major concerns with their customer service. Within 10 minutes we had an email from Damon asking us if we could come back in a resolve the issue. After we had left he had contacted another location and turns out that brand and style number had multiple returns over quality. He gladly gave us the credit for our sunglasses for another pair. I've dealt with the same woman at this location on 2 separate occasions (she's most likely the manager) and her customer service is deplorable. I have 3 teenagers and a husband for whom I have purchased at least 2 pairs of sunglasses each over the last year and a half. I bought everyone a Raybans for Christmas, but my daughter decided she wanted something else. When I tried to return them (with the receipt), she took them out and began to clean them. I told her there was no need, as they had never been removed from the case--then she tells me there's a tiny scratch, which, apparently was only visible to her, and she can't accept them. Then, my husband decides to exchange his & she does the EXACT SAME THING. We were able to take care of both at a different location-- NO MENTION OF ANY SCRATCHES. Clearly, it effects her sales if there are returns or exchanges, so she just makes up issues. To add insult to injury, she's rude and condescending while she's lying to your face. Bought a pair of Maui Jim sunglasses from this location 7-2018. First, was looking to replace a pair of Oakley's. The sales clerk recommended the Maui Jim's as they come with a Life Time Warranty, so he says. He says there the perfect sunglasses for fishing, ect ect. I'm like that's so cool, I'm horrible with my sunglasses, ring me up! 12-2018 I dropped them in my driveway and the lenses shatter I'm like cool I have a warranty on them. Found my receipt and start digging through the fine print to figure out how to claim that life time warranty that clerk told me about. Jokes on me, the dick who sold me the glasses lied however there is a Sunglass Hut warranty. You can return them to Sunglass Hut and get a replacement pair equal to the original pair for 1/2 the price I'm here today and salesperson say NOPE! This doesn't work with Maui Jim's oh and BTW, if the glasses are broken it also doesn't work so WTF does this Sunglass Hut warranty cover??? So, the salesperson offered me a piece of paper that I can use to contact Maui Jim, so they can send me a box to send my glasses in the hopes that they might possible replace the lenses in my glasses. Oh and BTW this takes a long time, says the sales girl ‍ Don't buy from any lying Sunglass Hut! They are as crooked as any car salesman!!
