I chose this office based on reviews so I will share mine. I called to schedule a contact lens appointment a week in advance, they were able to get me in sooner than anticipated due to cancelations, I greatly appreciated that since my glasses had an accident and my contact lens prescription was expired. When I called to schedule I asked how much it would be and they said $15, I'm using new insurance. So, I show up and the doctor is nice however there absolutely no trials in my prescription in ant brand? The doctor had suggested monovision and have used multifocals. I get a pair of lenses that for up close and far that aren't my correct prescription, they seemed good enough while jn the chair. I had previously informed the doctor about only having contacts for distance and no glasses, also having an event at the end of the week (that I found out I need to read now) along with a vacation the following week. All is well she said they will call me when the trials arrive. However, once I go to check out, they inform me it will be $95 which they did not disclose, and it is fine for a contacts exam just irritating they couldn't share that when I asked. But what really got me was that they said it would be $95 TO ORDER THE TRIALS! I'm very familiar how optometrist work with representatives for the companies, ordering trials is free btw, so this already was a red flag. I let them know that I would be in at the end of the week to make a payment. They then informed me they will order trials at that time of payment only. I've never heard of such a thing. So I call Wednesday to explain my situation again and to check if there is any trials that could possibly be in sooner than a week after next Friday. That's when the person on the phone rudely said: what I need to know is if you're going to do the exam, she said this twice throughout the conversation, needless to say, I said no and canceled my husband's appointment for Friday. I will be going back to my old office where they don't expect payment before ordering free trials nor do they waste your time. The girl that took over the phone call is not very nice and is very pushy, I personally don't tolerate that. The doctor was nice however the staff interaction is not worth returning. I do not recommend this office for contact lens exams. read more

Just saw Dr. Mantione today and I highly recommend her and this office. She explained everything in detail in layman's terms. Everyone was professional and personable. The office is clean and modern with a broad selection of frames. They worked with me to keep within my budget, which was very appreciated. Definitely going to be my go-to eye professional. read more

I needed an emergency appointment after debris blew into both of my eyes while hiking on a Saturday. Despite using Systane Complete drops, my eyes remained irritated, stinging, and burning, with blurry vision. I called Monday morning, and Angelina got me in almost immediately. The office was very clean, and the new patient process was quick and easy. Dr. Danielle was incredibly thorough and kind. She diagnosed abrasions on both eyes and prescribed antibiotic drops, which have already started relieving the discomfort. Even though it's a bit of a drive, I'll definitely return for any future eye care needs and annual exams. Thank you for the excellent care! read more

I've been in there 3 times and she is absolutely rude, never has a smile on her face, and does not greet with a good morning or how can I help u. She gives an awful first impression. Been a long-time patient here but our family is leaving the practice. Whoever is the scheduler here is not very helpful or empathetic. This practice constantly reschedules our appointments. An hour here, a half-hour there which may not seem like a big deal, but it will happen multiple times for the same appointment. This makes coordinating child-care or other needs like school carpool a real challenge. Our family has a disabled child that requires the scheduling of a special provider for childcare. Constantly rescheduling appointments makes this really difficult on our family. When I relayed this to scheduler she was very unsympathetic and almost annoyed with me that I would mention the multiple appointment time changes for the same appointment is hard on families. By the way, our disabled child is also a patient there and so their needs are known. Our family has been going there a long time. So they are losing 4 patients because of poor scheduling practices and no attempt to remedy the issue. read more

I just called because of the great reviews and I was considering switching my family over to the practice. Unfortunately the person who answered the phone was not friendly at all. I didn't know what vision plan I had so she couldn't see if we were covered. (If only maybe she could elaborate and help me get that info as my insurance can't even tell me what it's "called.") She said she could look it up by social but then told me that it's only a pediatric plan which obviously isn't true because my Husbad and I are covered at the current place we go to so there is something wrong clearly. She just kept repeating that she can schedule anyone who is under 18 but the adults aren't covered. If only she could be HELPFUL and maybe help a potential client get that info. I'm finding more and more places I call these people that are in, "customer service," don't really want to be and don't know how to truly help people. They're very vigilant about cleaning the office after someone has touched a surface or glasses. They'll only allow a certain amount of people in at a time. Their communication is fantastic. Love the staff. I wish I remembered the name of whom did my exam. She was great. I have severe anxiety and she was so patient with me. Beware of the woman who works at the front desk. She doesn't do a good job at taking appointments. When I called to make an appointment she didn't advise me that I needed to relay my insurance coverage beforehand. On the day I came into my appointment, she said they would need to verify coverage prior to the appointment, otherwise I would have to pay for the services up front and get refunded by my insurance provider--I refuse to deal with that back and forth process of refunding my money so I rescheduled for a later date. Upon rescheduling, the front desk woman was also on the phone. Fast forward to today's visit, I was told there wasn't an appointment scheduled. This was the same woman that I rescheduled with!! How did I even decide to show up on this date had it not been for a scheduled appointment. A waste of my time...And she responded with, "Well, did you get a confirmation text?" The audacity in her tone was very unprofessional. I was displeased and rescheduled, ensuring this time, that I at least got an appointment card, email or text before leaving that office. I am certain that woman forgot to schedule my appointment because she was on the phone at the same time. Each customer deserves undivided attention and good customer service during every visit, but this woman's attitude was just unacceptable. However, I did get a successful appointment with the Optometrist, and was satisfied with the services provided. read more

I loved the Dr I saw-she was very nice and efficient. This was January 18.I ordered 2 pair of glasses even though they were higher in prices than other places. I loved the glasses, so i ordered them and paid $1300 plus for both pair. It took almost 4 weeks (March 15) to get them. I asked if they could be adjusted 5 days from the time they arrived. they said they could not accommodate me for an adjustment. This is not right. This was my first visit to this office, and it was very pleasant until the upsells started. I even joked around with Dr. Dugan that sometimes the ladies ready to help you pick out your frames remind me of car salesmen, she laughed and said: "NOT HERE!" During my appointment, Dr. Dugan suggested the anti-glare on my glasses. I asked her the price and she said around $65. Not less then 10 minutes later, after I picked out my lenses, the sales lady said the anti-glare is $100. I proceeded to tell her that the Dr. said it's about $65, the smile went away and she said."Oh, that is the LESS ANTI GLARE OPTION". She then proceeded to add up all the over insusance costs and it come to over $350! When I asked her why, she said, well I chose the ligtest frame, added anti-glare and this and that. By the time I asked her to explain all the options to me and made my OWN DECISIONS. I brought that bill down to $79. My complaint about this office is. They only offer you the HIGHEST options and do not GIVE you the lower cost options when it comes to Anti glare and the weight of your lenses. My advice is to ask for view price options before paying. read more

All office staff are technicians, and everyone is friendly and lovely. They were best ever at helping choose eyeglass frames that suited me, and excellent explan of charges and insurance (looking at you, Heidi!). Also, they offer Vision Therapy at their nearby Murrieta office, which is an important and hard-to-find service that we want for our young child with amblyopia. We had to change my daughters eye doctor and we of course checked yelp to see who had the best reviews, this place was recommended by tons of people.
