Dr. Parker has been my optometrist for many years. He has taken good care of my eyes. My annual check ups include the process of taking images of my eyes and monitoring to make sure there no abnormalities. Recently I went to Dr. Parker because my right eye was having excessive floater activity. He took a look and said it was something that needed to be monitored, that it was age related., nothing serious. Because I have had macular issues with my left eye, I decided as a just in case to get a second opinion from an ophthalmologist and he basically said the same thing as Dr. Parker. Never hurts to get a second opinion. But, good to know Dr. Parker knows his stuff! Overall, office staff is good. There are a couple of faces who I believe have been there for a while. It seems like there is a high turnover of other office staff and some confusion about things. For instance, one time after a couple weeks I called to find out when my contacts would arrive, to find out they were never ordered. No big deal. read more

Terrible and rude staff....very bad attitude and manners. Went here two times and both were negative after experiences.

I called today to ask a simple question about contact lens samples and was met with an unbelievably rude and condescending receptionist named Norma. From the moment she answered, she spoke to me like I was bothering her for even calling. She interrupted me several times, acted completely confused by a very straightforward request, and made zero effort to understand what I was asking. There was absolutely no professionalism or courtesy in the way she handled the conversation. It felt like she wanted to make me feel stupid instead of helping me. If this is the kind of attitude they allow at the front desk, I have no interest in ever stepping foot in that office again. Norma represents the first impression of this practice, and she failed miserably. I will be taking my business elsewhere and would strongly suggest others do the same until the office learns how to treat patients with basic respect. read more

Dr. Parker and the Staff were wonderful. Very professional and knowledgeable. I love the photo machine that can look in your eyes and see potential issues. Their online appointment system does not work. I scheduled an online appointment for an urgently needed eye exam, waited until the day of the exam, and went in just to be told that they did not have the appointment. They need to check their online appointment system to ensure that this doesn't happen to future customers because many people take time off work for these appointments and usually wait quite a few days to get the earliest available appointment. Additional feedback is that my appointment was at 2 PM and they are closed for lunch until 2 PM. They shouldn't make it an option to have an appointment at 2 PM in that case because most people arrive earlier than their appointment and they lock the doors. It was freezing cold and raining when I went, so it was quite miserable waiting outside for them to open the doors. My suggestion for improvement would be to either disallow the option to make appointments right after they open for lunch or to at least open the doors so customers can wait inside. Again, these are all suggestions for improvement and I'm in no way insinuating fault in any of these complaints. I hope this feedback is useful to improve the customer experience. read more

Dr Parker is AMAZING!!!! Called him on a Saturday, mid day! Not only did he get us in promptly, he was exceptional with his bed side manner, professionalism, knowledge, and time! He cared, he made us feel prioritized and well cared for! Prescription was called in with in minutes!!! Wish more doctors could learn from Doctor Parker!! So greatful and appreciative!! I called the office on Friday morning and explained to Joe that I had a painful problem with my left eye. Joe relayed the info to a very busy Dr. Parker who managed to address my issues along with the rest of his schedule. Front office and all staff are very nice. Found my new frames check. Ordered my new lens check. Come back in two weeks for final fitting and pick up of my new windows for my eyes. I'm extremely disappointed with them. I've been coming here for 5 years! I needed new glasses so I signed up online and chose an open appointment time and clicked submit. I scheduled my time of work and arrive today at my scheduled time. The staff was extremely rude when I arrived. They said "did you get an email APPROVING your request?" What? It showed that tone open I clicked on it It said your appointment time was received I show up to find out I needed an approval email? What? I left immediately before I said something rude, as to not play into their rudeness. I simply said I'm never coming back there again! I've never had an optometrist like Dr. Parker. He doesn't just give you a vision prescription. He shows you the pictures taken of your eye that day and he explains what you're looking at (even when there are no problems). I have a slight dry eye problem. He's the first one who explained why and gave me something I can do without using eye drops to easily relieve it. He uses the latest diagnostic equipment to check for all your vision issues. Besides that, he's very personable --interested in people as human beings. He's also well trained. I feel like my vision is in good hands with Dr. Parker. Great staff, too. I am extremely frustrated with this business. I was referred by a close family member so i expected good things. The Dr. and exam went great but my experience after was far from that. I told them i did not want a new pair of glasses but was pushed to get a new pair since they had to send mine to get prescription updated. I told them I couldn't afford and that I could wait to get my glasses back. They told me 10-15 days. I called a week and a half later to check to see if my glasses were done and they said they were made wrong and had to send them back. A few days later, I finally get a text that they were ready to be picked up. This was on friday. I was out of town so I couldn't get there until Tuesday. On tuesday when I went to pick them up, the girl told me she had gave my glasses to the wrong person and they were waiting to get them back. This is absolutely ridiculous. I had made it so clear that this was my only pair of glasses, so I would think they would take extra precaution. I get mistakes happen but I am going on almost 3 weeks without glasses now. read more

I this office! Fantastic team of people, amazing customer service, open during the weekends and late during some weekdays. I am always so busy with life I don't always make time for my own health, they make it so easy to schedule an appointment. The doctor is attentive, compassionate and well versed on the current health. They always have the most up to date technology here consistently for the last 6 years. Fantastic Doctor and staff. I had an emergency situation with metal shaving in my eye. They squeezed me in last minute and took care of me. The doctor has ninja hands I swear. Dr. Parker is great but the customer service from this office is terrible. Norma is very rude and condescending.. she needs sensitivity training or to find a new job. I was also notified after being told 3-5 weeks that it will take probably over a month to get my glasses.. I have disabilities and this has added to my already chronic anxiety. I was told that the dr. When I asked to speak to dr Parker for some reassurance I was told o can't even leave a message for them and he that he Has COVID as of 3 days ago... I was in contact with him on nov 25th. COVID can lie dormant and you can shed virus it longer than 14 days before showing symptoms. But, even with that information I was shrugged off by Norma when I mentioned my concerns about this and told "you're in the clear, your appointment was over 14 days ago and he just tested positive 3 days ago. I will be going to get tested to be safe. I wish dr. Parker well and to the community they should know, overall he is an awesome guy and dr. But he needs to do some staff changes soon... read more

Not sure what's going on with this office but I just found out that my classes are going to take longer than expected way longer than they told me in the office. The manager by the name of Norma is extremely rude hung up on me told me that I can't talk to her about my husband ! Even With my husband on the phone. so I don't know if they don't like gay people or what's going on. Only by asking if I need to go to the office to talk to the doctor to starting everything out. Only then did they tell me or inform me rather that the doctor is out because he contracted the COVID-19. This office did not notify me about his current status. Disrespectful office is running extremely unprofessional and I'm not even sure if they're following all the safety precautions ! Really happy with the service. The doctor was friendly and informative and the staff went way and above. My dog had mangled my old pair but with new stems they could at least be a backup. A past optometrist showed zero interest with a similar problem a couple years ago. This time Mary Lou put in extra effort to find a pair of glasses to take the stems from. I thought for sure they'd forget when I came back for fitting but Mary Lou kept on it and now I have an emergency back up pair. Great service and very prompt. read more

The worst staffing. I took my daughter who has never worn glasses or contacts. They charged me for a contact eye exam and fitting but couldnt teach my daughter to put in the contacts. She was so frustrated she didnt want to continue to try. They refused to give us her contact prescription. We went back to get glasses. They were so unhelpful. My daughter ended up with glasses that are too big for her face because their office lady wasnt trained enough to size her correctly. Ive worn contacts for years. I buy really expensive contacts and have gone to this place for years. The first time i went there i already knew what i wanted so i never experienced how untrained their office staff was. I was called today for leaving a bad review. Not mentioning that until this point I didn't leave a review. Now is a good time. Dr. Brian was good. The process of looking at glasses was like trying to buy a used car with no wheels. I was never asked what I would like with me glasses. The support person just continued adding thing he knew I needed. Until the bill was over $1100 dollars. Granted this includes the discount I get by being double covered with insurances. I went online that night and got the same glasses with all the same bells and whistles for $275, without using insurance. Something seems wrong here. read more

I've know Dr. Parker for a couple years now I enjoy coming to the office. I've NEVER experienced anyone being rude to me quite the opposite very light hearted and laughter ALWAYS i had an appointment today was seen very quickly questions were addressed. I didn't feel rushed. He explained things to me. I understand a lot is going on due to the whole covid thing so let's please be mindful of that. Dr. Parker is wonderful, but unfortunately the office staff is incredibly rude. I received an email from the office stating they no longer took my insurance, but the insurance named was different than the insurance I have. I emailed back and asked for clarity, and to see if they still took my actual insurance. I never received an email back. I received a phone call from the office today stating I was due for an eye exam, and I told them about the email and that because I never heard back, I assumed they just no longer took my insurance, and that I had saw a different eye doctor instead, so I no longer needed appointment reminders. The employee on the phone replied, verbatim, "Well I'm sorry YOU couldn't read the email correctly." I was shocked and replied that the email was worded confusingly and that her comment was incredibly rude. She laughed in response. I ended the phone call. This behavior is incredibly unprofessional and rude. At no point was I rude or disrespectful during the phone call and was simply updating them that I no longer needed appointment reminders. This behavior from the office employee was unnecessary, appalling, and so disrespectful. This is not how you treat and speak to patients. Unfortunately, despite Dr. Parker being wonderful, his office staff reflects poorly on him. I would not recommend this office to anyone. If this is how they treat patients who can advocate for themselves by identifying their rude and unprofessional behavior, I can only imagine how they treat those who are unable to advocate for themselves. read more

Today was the 2nd time this office has made an appointment because my glasses are ready and I take the time off work and drive down to be told oops, we made a mistake, just the frames are here. First it was my glasses 2 years ago and today it was my daughter, who I had to pull out of school for the appointment and now we will have to make another appointment when the lenses arrive. OK, so I should pay for glasses, lenses, gas to and from, to and from, to and from, and miss over 4 hours of pay now, come on. I was so irritated today that I just walked out, not sure the lady even cared, it felt like. I recently had broken the nose pc on my Rayban glasses and went in to see about getting new frames, lucky they were still available. Unfortunately they arrived Wednesday before Thanksgiving and hurried over to get my lenses installed, which the young lady did backwards! Of course calls to them shortly there after twice were never answered or returned! I ended up going to Lensecrafters to get the lenses installed correctly. Had an appointment back in March for new glasses. On 05-05 still had not revived a call that my new glasses were in. Called and spoke with NORMA who stated that on 04/09 they attempted to call me and for some reason couldn't leave a message. So I asked why didn't they call again. She states very rudely they only call once there is no reason for us to keep your glasses. Her customer service skills were horrible. She needs some additional training. What a shame to have such a great eye doctor which I can attest to and then have front office staff with no home training and poor customer service skills. Omigosh!!! I cannot stress the exceptionalities of this center! My son went in last week & was raving about the office & how it was such a good experience with the dr & staff. My husband and I went in today for our eye appointments and a 10 to the second power! Dr. Parker has such a uncanny devotion to his trade, communication with the entire process in such a informative yet no intimidation way! Walked away with a lot of answered questions towards my overall health! Kim made me feel so welcomed with such a positive & cheery persona, very professional. Trini was very welcoming, friendly with helpful insight & perspectives towards choosing our eye glasses!! The entire staff was very proactive towards regulations with the current Covid 19 safety.
