The service was outstanding and Miss Kim the optician was very helpful and knowledgeable about progressive eyeglasses . She showed us how to used them correctly which other optometry never had showed customer the right way to used eyeglasses with progressive lenses. This was one of the best eye exam experiences I have had so far. I found this place on my insurance's website and booked an appointment. I already have contacts and needed new glasses. From the time I walked in until the time I left, everyone treated me very nicely and made the appointment go by very smoothly. Dr. Parker was very nice and down to earth and knows how to talk and laugh with his patients. His crew was very nice and Mark was very helpful with assisting me with my frames selection. I like employees of an establishment to have good honest, not forced, small talk with me and make me feel comfortable. We were referred to TEC via VSP and couldn't be more pleased. We took the whole family and were all examined and purchased glasses on the same day. Arrived at Noon and out by 3, with 3 exams and 4 pairs of prescription, 1 pair non-prescription glasses on order! I was very impressed with the level of diagnostic equipment available. I felt I received the most thorough exam possible, possibly my first in almost 40 years. My son is on the autism spectrum and the staff made him very comfortable throughout the exam and the frame selection. My husband was getting his first pair of prescription glasses, and truth be told, wasn't very happy about that (age/vanity). The staff was very patient and considerate of his feeling on the "subject". The doctor and staff are amazing and extremely personable. They are all knowledgeable and patient. I had quite a few questions (glasses, Lasik, etc) and no one ever made me feel like I was wasting their time. I can't wait to pickup my new glasses. I have been going to Temecula Eye Center for many years and really like Dr. Parker. However today the office staff were very rude to me when I tried to find out what can be done with an issue I am having with glasses that I bought from them this year. In the past I was always treated very well, but in the past I was a paying customer. Today I am not a paying customer I am a customer with a problem. I called them with my complaint about my current glasses and I was told I will need to get new glasses, which my insurance won't pay for since they already paid for my current glasses this year. I feel the problem I am having with these glasses is because I wasn't fitted for them correctly. I tried to explain my problem on the phone and was given a cockamamie explanation. So I thought I will run by the office and show them what I feel is the problem and try to understand this crazy story I was told. When I went to the front desk, they asked if I had an appointment, and I said I didn't but would like to explain why I am there. They wouldn't even talk to me. She was willing to make me an appointment to get me out of her way. All they needed to do was take two seconds and see the problem and if they felt it could be fixed then I would be happy to make an appointment. But I wasn't gong to buy another pair of glasses from them since I felt this was their mistake. I was immediately dismissed and they asked for the next person in line so I couldn't say another word. If I go to a dentist and the hygienist treats me rudely, I am not going to go back to that dentist. My next optometrist will need to stand by their glasses they sale to me and hopefully he can find good help that knows how fit glasses and how to treat customers. read more

I was so happy to find this is the location Dr.Parker moves to. He really takes the time to help you find the perfect prescription for your vision needs. I have been going to Dr. Argenbright on and off since about 1997. He is my favorite optometrist EVER, and I've been wearing glasses and/or contact lenses since I was 4 years old. Dr. Argenbright and ALL of his staff are friendly, polite, accommodating, but most importantly, skilled, professional and (I feel) genuinely concerned about my eye health and sight. Their equipment and techniques are always being updated, and I always leave with the feeling I'm working with a state-of-the-art practice. I have a very difficult prescription, and have to have two separate sets of glasses to comfortably address my problems of severe astigmatism, near-sightedness, far-sightedness, halos (from PRK surgery), and Dr. Argenbright has spent an unprecedented amount of time ensuring my prescription is correct. Janette in the optical department spent probably more than an hour with me as I decided on two sets of frames, and when the frames came they were fitted to my face by Alma, who sat with me applying some fixes to make one of the pair fit more comfortably on my face. She has checked back with me, and has been helping me with problems I'm having adjusting to the reading prescription. I want to note that when you order glasses online, you may save a little $$, but there is no custom fitting, no future adjustments or screw replacements, and no follow-up to be sure the prescription will work as it should--that's the advantage of working directly with an optometrist. My husband also gets his contact lenses here, and he loves this eye center, and is very impressed with Dr. Argenbright. My mother used him as well, until she went on Medicare. It's always funny to mention Dr. Argenbright's name, and to learn that so many people in this valley trust him. You won't be disappointed! :-) read more

I'd like to start off by saying the Doctor, and the person that helps with the eye exam, are very nice and professional people. This morning I was speaking with my wife and she told me how much she enjoyed those two people. I definitely agree with her. Last year when I went in the experience was a good one. But, there was an administrative issue that came up last year, and I remember how rude the lady (Norma) in the side office was. She just came off wrong. So I simply ignored it, and moved on. A couple of days ago I went on their website to make an appointment. I looked and saw all these times available for today. I think cool, clicked on 1130. The website says something like "thank you for making an appointment" So, I am thinking I have an appointment for two reasons. 1. It showed available. Most online appointments I have made, don't show unavailable time slots. 2. The thank you for making an appointment response. I'm just trying to make an appointment, and move on. I get there today. Front desk says, Dr. isn't in. I'm like what the heck? So I inquire, why were the hours available and why did it say thank you for making an appointment. I asked this to the the front desk. Then here comes Miss Attitude, "Norma" Her first comment, well I didn't shut the website down. But, quickly changed to you must read the confirmation email all the way through. Because the email stated that you must get a call from the office to confirm your appointment. I said, "So why make an online appointment, If I have to wait for a call. I might as well call in for the appointment." She said all the dates and time slots remain open, so they can double book appointments. After every question. She rolls her eyes at me like I'm stupid. She has very harsh rude approach. Making an appointment shouldn't be difficult or challenging. You shouldn't have to read the fine print of an email, just to be told that you really didn't make an appointment. It appears to me the system is set up for them to answer less calls. I scheduled an appointment for next week, but I will complain to the Dr. directly on how rude "Norma" is. Because, as you mature in life you handle things differently. She truly needed to be put in check for her attitude. I'm a paying customer, and shouldn't leave a place feeling disrespected. read more

Super nice people that take the time to go over everything you need to know. My first visit they took photos of my eyes. Will definitely return for future visits. Only down side, was cost on buying glasses there if your a non insured cash payer. Frames I liked were over double the cost of same model I found online. ($100 cheaper) I think it would have been over $600+ for 1 pair of progressive glasses. Ouch. read more

My first visit to Temecula eye center was great, the staff was very polite, wait was not long at all and most advanced optometry equipment which is extremely accurate versus the ancient test of -what do you see on line 1 ok now line 2 is this better or worse, viola you need glasses those days are done! Dr. Parker spent quality time explaining to me what the test results meant, how my eye health affects and can detect other medical conditions. Dr. Parker, was also very honest about my vision test results for both me and my daughter and did not just try to "sell" me glasses, sunglasses and contacts if I didn't need them! (Unlike my former optometrist who actually emailed me at the end of every year to encourage me not to lose the money in my medical spending account, buy glasses!) Only reason I gave 4 stars is the waiting area and optical retail area can get a little crowded and loud during consults. I will definitely return and already made my husbands appointment. read more

I have been going to Dr. Argenbright for years now and he is absolutely the BEST. Recently I have been purchasing eyeglasses here as well and Mark Washington was a new face to me. He is such a helpful and knowledgeable Optician. I have a semi-complicated insurance plan (at least to me), but he had no trouble at all and was extremely patient. I will definitely request his help next time I look into eyeglasses. When I went to pick up my glasses a few weeks later he even took a minute of his time when the office was very busy to make sure I was happy with my purchase. Great service! read more

I had my first appointment today, and it went beyond eye health, and was very informative and I am looking forward to utilize what I learned today. Yesterday, I had some eye pain and called shortly before they were closing. They said he would stay after to see me. We rushed over and he graciously examined me and took his time. Great attitude and advice. He was super kind and caring. A few months back, I had an exam by him and same thing, super kind and attentive. That time I had delt a lot with the whole staff. I am not typically a person to submit online reviews, but when a person or business offers such a high degree of service and value as Dr. Parker and his team have, I am compelled to share, so that others can benefit. Being new to the world of Optometry, I have learned that getting the optimum vision correction is far from a one-size-fits-all process. At least in my case, and I imagine it is this way for many, it took several visits and experimentation with half a dozen or more magnification and type variations, to achieve the best combination and results. Dr. Parker was extremely warm, friendly, patient and willing to go the distance with me to achieve my best outcome. My biggest challenge was trying to learn to get these foreign objects onto my eyeballs! LOL. This did not come at all natural to me and I lost count of the number of visits I had with Kaylee to figure out how to get those little buggers into my eyes. I bet I broke a record for how many attempts and visits it took me. Between Kaylee's infinite patience and support and my determination, we finally figured it out and success was reached! Some people have success the first time. I guess I was just an exceptionally challenged case. Every staff member at Temecula Eye Center Optometry... From Dr. Parker to the Opticians to the front desk are absolutely top notch! Remember the old days when businesses actually learned your name and cultivated a relationship with you? That's what it feels like there. A very nice feeling! If you happen to be a person that is intimidated by wearing contact lenses and haven't given it a try or have struggled in the past, or have any need for an Optometrist, I can't recommend this place highly enough. The cost is even very reasonable, as you can go back as many times as necessary within three months, for no additional cost other than the upfront visit. Prior to going to Temecula Eye Center Optometry, I went to a different local, long-standing practice. My experience there was so different. The Doctor tried one set of contact lenses on me, that offered me no improved vision at all. He said if those didn't work, I was just simply not a candidate for contacts or even Lasik. He was completely unwilling to experiment with any other type or magnification or contact and sent me on my way. Thank God a little voice inside of me said, "Don't give up. Get a second opinion." It brings me great pleasure to say that I am now a proud and happy contact lens wearer and I owe it all to Dr. Parker and his team. read more

We were referred to Dr. Argenbright by some friends then come to find out when I went in to see him, we ran into other friends! And we can see why. He is a fantastic Dr. and has an amazing staff. They are all knowledgable and so patient. I had quite a few questions (contacts vs glasses with my eye condition) and Dr. Argenbright never made me feel like I was wasting his time or rushed. They have a great selection of glasses and really helped me make a decision on the right pair. Again, everyone was patient as I was debating between a few different pairs and no one made me feel like I had to hurry. They really wanted to make sure that I got the correct pair for me and also that they looked good! If I could give them 6 stars I would! SO PATIENT and again fantastic selection!!! My husband is very very picky as his father makes lenses in Europe. He was impressed with the quality of the glasses and also Dr. Argenbrights equipment and office. Horrible customer service. I went to this establishment once and after paying hundreds of dollars I sit here 5 weeks later with nothing to show. No glasses and no answer to when I could expect them. How could that be? The week earlier they called me on MY phone and told me I could expect them by weeks end, lies!! I called back on a Tuesday after the "end" of the week they said they would be done and they were still stumbling to give me confirmation on when they would actually be ready. Great, they say they have no control of the vendor/supplier, I totally get that. But it was not the supplier that called me it was an employee that works there and said I could expect them by weeks end, which still would have taken over 4 weeks. I then told them I wanted a refund and the manager hung up on me! I had to call my bank and cancel the transaction through them. This place is all smoke and mirrors, and after the show is over your left on the hook for hundreds of dollars with nothing to show. Management is rouge, and does and says whatever she wants with no thought process. Maybe you should start recording our phone calls so you can listen back and work on your management/customer skills cause what they have now is severely lacking. No compassion or customer loyalty. Seem nice up front, but once they have the money, look-out. Don't say I didn't warn you! read more

My wife and I recently moved to the area and we were referred to Dr. Argenbright by our Medical Group for our annual eye exams. The Doctor's staff are first rate and called as soon as they received the referral and we got appointments for two days later. Their office Temecula Eye Center was clean and organized and the staff welcomed us with friendly greetings. The office appears to have the latest eye testing equipment so we could have a complete evaluation of our eye health quickly and easily. For the eye exam, Dr. Argenbright was both professional and friendly, clearly and fully explaining the detailed results of each test, He then performed the vision test to see if a new eyeglass prescription was appropriate. After the exams, the staff reviewed the vision test results and explained what would and wouldn't be covered by insurance for new glasses. They also gave us our eyeglass prescriptions so we could consider our options. It seems that in today's world getting good service doesn't happen as much as we'd like. But today, my wife and I couldn't be happier about the positive service we received by Dr. Argenbright and his Staff at the Temecula Eye Center. read more
