When they finally returned my call. I originally called October 12th.

This review is purely based on the poor management, not the doctor which I am sure is an incredible one based on his reviews. Here it goes: I wrote an email requesting an appointment weeks ago. After attempting to call on October 12th and and receiving no returns, I let it go & was determined to go back to my hometown to get an appointment. On November 3rd, I get a call from a lady apologizing for the delay of never responding and the excuse of being short staffed. I understood because businesses are short staffed. My parents own a medical office and I completely understand being short staffed however it is inexcusable to call someone weeks later. She asked if I wanted an appointment for the following Thursday the 10th at 10:45 am. I said yes. My fiancé was also in the car that morning, I wrote down the appointment in my calendar because we have an event coming up. Fast forward to today : I took the entire day off and showed up at the appointment only for the lady there to tell me that she couldn't see an appointment for me. That the doctor wasn't in....Then tells me oh we sent you a reminder , it's actually next Thursday at 10:45 am on the 17th. I proceeded to show her the phone number they called me from on my caller ID, called the number to see if it would ring in the office because for a second I thought I was at the wrong place. I asked her "is this your number"She said yes, this is our number. This is At 10:31 am.... Then proceeded to tell me "oh we sent you a reminder before you came in today that your appointment is for next week" Shocker. Reminder came at 10:35 am.....she tried telling me they sent this before I had even walked in. Having bad management for your medical office can honestly crash someone's business. I AM 100% THIS DOCTOR IS A WONDERFUL PERSON and a very competent man. However whoever is scheduling, returning calls or emails is doing an awful job. Please don't play future patients and come up with excuses. She tried to tell me that they sent a reminder for next week before me even coming in the office today. A week in advance reminder ? What business sends a reminder for an appointment a week in advance ? Maybe 2 days, but not a week. It makes me think she put me down for an appointment right then and there as we were talking. This is extremely disappointing! A day of work/interviews completely lost. Sharing the proof of how this was managed and to tell the doctor that he needs to hire a management team that is passionate about his work and his business.

When I called to schedule I asked how much it would be and they said $15, I'm using new insurance. So, I show up and the doctor is nice however there absolutely no trials in my prescription in ant brand? The doctor had suggested monovision and have used multifocals. I get a pair of lenses that for up close and far that aren't my correct prescription, they seemed good enough while jn the chair. I had previously informed the doctor about only having contacts for distance and no glasses, also having an event at the end of the week (that I found out I need to read now) along with a vacation the following week. All is well she said they will call me when the trials arrive. However, once I go to check out, they inform me it will be $95 which they did not disclose, and it is fine for a contacts exam just irritating they couldn't share that when I asked. But what really got me was that they said it would be $95 TO ORDER THE TRIALS! I'm very familiar how optometrist work with representatives for the companies, ordering trials is free btw, so this already was a red flag. I let them know that I would be in at the end of the week to make a payment. They then informed me they will order trials at that time of payment only. I've never heard of such a thing. So I call Wednesday to explain my situation again and to check if there is any trials that could possibly be in sooner than a week after next Friday. That's when the person on the phone rudely said: what I need to know is if you're going to do the exam, she said this twice throughout the conversation, needless to say, I said no and canceled my husband's appointment for Friday. I will be going back to my old office where they don't expect payment before ordering free trials nor do they waste your time. The girl that took over the phone call is not very nice and is very pushy, I personally don't tolerate that. The doctor was nice however the staff interaction is not worth returning. I do not recommend this office for contact lens exams.

The first straw was them having some illiterate person call me and say oh you're due for your vision check and then call her back to schedule my appointment and she says do you have insurance and I said yes. Her: Well we don't see it. Me: So I'm like, it's the same insurance I've had. Me: Why would you call me if I'm due but you don't see my insurance? Her: well your insurance said yiur due for your annual 2 year appt. Me:.. so you see my insurance but you don't see what plan I have? At that point I'm so fed up. I said I do have insurance?!! What are yo I talking about. If I didn't then I would be seeing you. Y'all need to train your people better. And learn to communicate. Time, notifications, call reminders. And the exact location. So once I tell her I have insurance, I said, why else would you have called me when I've been there before and I have had the same insurance. This girl had no idea what the heck she was doing to schedule me and apparently I can definitely tell she was new and it was really irritating first of all. Second of all, I get to my appointment after everything's been scheduled and I show up only to find out that their doctor had called out apparently for some emergency. And they at south 79, forgot to tell me that my appointment was half across town on Winchester had a completely different location that I had to go to. So on top of that I was running late by 30 minutes and then on top of that I was only able to get to the Winchester Doctor and I only had about five minutes to spare between my next appointment since I have limited availability to do anything with my hectic work schedule. These two offices are both inconsistent and it's very frustrating when you're supposed to be OPEN until 530. You should have someone there at all times. This is the most annoying is thing I've had to deal with with this company. I have been trying to get to my appointment to pick out my glasses (for 4 weeks now) and they said there is no appointment needed just to walk in. Apparently both offices are different rules and gals that work there. The one off the South 79 in Temecula I guess I have to have the doctor be there in order for them to let you get your correct Glasses. So this is the first time I've attempted to try and get my prescription glasses. The one on Winchester said walk in and we have a different specialist. No need for the dr. I will also note that the doctor on Winchester was very good. She was very thorough and did a really nice eye check up for me. I found out I have somewhat of a stigmatism in my right eye, and I was very satisfied with her services but the front desk girl on the Winchester Definitely didn't have a clue in notifying anybody about their appointment when most was halfway across town which is really frustrating. She was rude saying "dangggg girl, you have bad eyes",,, I'm like yeah cut that street slang and be professional. It's not cute or funny or making my day any happier to deal with YOU. IF I can ever get in for my glasses hopefully it's the last time dealing with them and they can fix this mess. Fix you hours. Update you google account for your office hours or whatever y'all need to do.
