Wow, this review is long overdue. After moving back from Las Vegas many years ago, our family searched for and tried several other Eye Docs in our local area. Sadly, none of them were what are family was looking for in this type of provider. After searching again, we found Dr. Jury's practice! We have been patients of Optometric Vision Experience for maybe 9 years now: we could not be happier with Dr. Jury and his entire staff, from the front counter to frame searching, frame fittings and drop-in frame adjustments. His office and staff are always very accomodating for scheduling our family's annual eye exams and any appointments we may neeed for any type of eye/vision concern. A follow up review after many years! I recently had an excellent experience at Dr. Mark Jury's Optometric Vision Experience in Wildomar. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly welcomed by the friendly front desk team. After a brief wait and some quick paperwork, I met with Dr. Jury for a thorough and detailed examination. He discovered an issue with my left eye and took the time to explain everything in detail, and referring a visit to a retina specialist. Greater commitment to quality assurance. My warranty service replacement lenses were poorly examined upon arrival at this store. I had to walk out with a scratched lens the optical department did not see, if it was even truly looked at by Dr. Jury's staff. I'm a layperson and I can see the scratch, with the glasses off, from 3 feet away... Been a client since 2002. NEVER GOING BACK EXCEPT TO COLLECT THAT LENS THAT HAD TO BE REORDERED... read more

More organization. Better billing and payment system. Appointment setting, rescheduling and cancellation needs to improve. Examples of above to let you know of my experience are as follows: I was called in regards to my daughters appointment needing to be moved forward due to optometrist leaving early so I cancelled it. I went in today and front desk asked if I am still keeping the appointment. I informed her that it was cancelled a week ago. I was told personnel would be available to speak to me in regard to the billing and credit to my credit card and no one is here as of yet. I was charged on one credit card and received a refund on to a different credit card that I originally used but wasn't charged on. Due to a fraud alert. Big mishap though I went in on that Saturday to rectify it and spoke with personnel I was told it would be fixed though no one called me in reference to nothing being done for this mistake. I've been seeing Dr. Jury for many, many years. He has been my family optometrist and seen my children as well. The staff is always friendly and make me feel known and seen, even if I just come in once a year. But I look forward to that once a year experience. Took my 3 year old son here with a prescription given to me from Rady's children! After the glasses having to be remade and waiting for another 3 weeks (4 weeks in total) my son said they weren't comfortable. He wore them for a week and wouldn't look right through the lens he would avoid it. Being a mom I kept telling him to look through it. After a week of no improvement and seeing his eye become lazy (he has a condition we're trying to improve) i decided to call Rady's. They advised going to their optometrist to check the prescription. Turns out the prescription was completely off. How she explained it is he was given the prescription was for a patient who's near sighted and he is far sighted. His prescription should be +4 sphere and +1.50 cylinder. What I was given was -7 sphere and +1.50 cylinder! How do you mess up THAT bad?! Such poor negligence! When I advised them of their poor error and asked for a refund they didn't even apologize for the inconvenience/ messing up. My poor son was just walking around with prescription completely wrong for him! read more

I went in for new contacts. I get ulcers in my eyes often so I asked to refill the prescription for the eyedrop. The doctor said yes, but they didn't give it to me when I left and my contacts were mailed to me so I called today to ask if I could pick up the eyedrop and they told me I needed to schedule another appointment to come in and check when she did two weeks ago and said she would give me the drops. they just really want my money for another office visit. It's a scam. Be careful. I get my contacts cheaper through the Internet. read more

I changed optometrists last year and found Optometric Vision. I do not remember who did my exam, but he was friendly, courteous and seemed knowledgeable. But when it came to getting my glasses, it took 7 weeks. I wasn't happy about that. I got my glasses in Dec 2020. Six months later, while wearing them, the left part of the frame suddenly falls off. I thought it was missing a screw. I went to the office to get them fixed. A friendly, male assistant, was attempting to help me, when a rude woman, who called herself the optician, interrupted the assistant and me. It wasn't a screw that was the problem. The plastic just broke and couldn't be glued because the glue could get on the frame. I found that hard to believe. The glasses were under warrantee, so I will receive a new pair in 4 weeks. I have never broken a pair of glasses. How can one side of a pair of glasses suddenly fall off? This is shoddy manufacture/workmanship. Paying over $300 for frames and lens and they break? Then I have to wait 4 weeks, which will most likely turn into 7 weeks, like what happened last year, isn't appropriate. This office needs to find another eyeglass manufacturer. To add to this the top of the lens over the right eye isn't mounted to the frame correctly. There's a space between the top of the lens and the bottom of the upper part of the frame!! Do not purchase glasses from them. read more

First impression: walked in based on referral, staff was very quick and attentive, as I broke my frames and was in need of help. Staff was quick to offer solutions even though they couldn't help me in-house. Being new to the area I appreciates their help. They offered to fix my frame if I could find replacement online, and offered a business nearby that could fix my frames for the short term until I could return for a replacement. I returned shortly thereafter for an exam. The staff was very friendly. The exam was great, never felt rushed, and the doctor spend extra time getting to know me and my situation. These folks are 1st class. Every time I go there I'm politely greeted. Yesterday, I went to get my sunglasses fixed as they do minor repairs for FREE!! Yep Free and I did not buy my prescription glasses from them as I have insurance thru my wife's plan. Non the less, VANESSA was friendly, told me what the issue was and fixed it on the spot. We have been going to this place for our eyeglasses as well as sunglasses for a few years now. We have ALWAYS received prompt attention, and when we had questions, each person took the time and effort to make sure we were taken care of, not just rushed through. There are four of us in our family and we never had one issue with any of the people that work at this office. They take their time to go over each result and exam with you and if you purchase glasses or sunglasses, they make sure you get the best deal for your money and your insurance coverage. How ANYONE could write a bad review about this place just does not make sense. As I said, we have been going here for about 3 years now and not once have we felt we had a bad experience. I personally want to acknowledge Dr. Jury, Elsa, Patty, and Karissa for their outstanding and kind professionalism each and every time we are in their office or have to call. I saw Dr. Love for my appointment and he did a great job. He showed me how much my vision had changed from the previous exam. I liked that because it gave a nice point of reference for me. The staff there is also great and they really explain what your insurance will pay for. I told the Dr. I was moving out of state and without asking he printed out my records so that I could take them with me. I hope I can find another doctor as nice and good as Dr. Love.
