The team here is professional and friendly. I rarely have to wait to make appointments, they explain each step of the eye exam, especially helpful when it came for Mini-me one to have her eyes checked. We have been going to Vision Experience now for about 5 years, seems longer but they are great about reminding us for our yearly check up, they have a wide variety of frames, option styles on glasses, tints etc. The staff is also very helpful when it comes to early or late appointments for kids in school and you don't want them to miss classes. No complaints and they work with your insurance, they don't gouge you on prices like some eye places. read more

This was my check up appointment. Starting from my appointment visit I showed up 5mins early. My kids came with me, we waited and waited till 17 minutes passed by I finally had to ask if my appointment was as scheduled. They never kept me inform doctor is running late Or even apologized. When I finished with my appointment for the follow up all the front desk people were so busy laughing about something on the cellphone. I said bye and no acknowledgment from the front desk. After a week of trying my new contacts I called to order my contacts a full year. I asked what would be my patients responsibility and the receptionist said $15 I repeated $15 to confirm. 1 week after I go pick up my contacts and my total turns out to be $57 including with discount. I asked for breakdown $45 was for the optometrists check up. I was a upset because never did I get informed of extra fees. The check up should be part of my exam. I been to several optometrist in my life and never felt I was being pinched for everything. So I mention to the front desk if there will be a charge it needs to be explained and also bill my insurance for any appointment. I'm dissatisfied with quality of service and I never will come back. I plan to go back with my previous optometrist that's in San Diego. read more

I had an appointment this morning, I walked in and the people who worked here weren't wearing mask. I was surprised and very uncomfortable. The lady asked me if I would like her to wear a mask? I said I would appreciate it. As I was filling out my paper work I noticed none of the people working there had a mask on. I asked her, "I thought it was required to wear a mask?" She replied "Not in Riverside not required " I was so uncomfortable and angry. I told her the Covid-19 could be on your clothes, touching their face or cough and infect me. I have health issues and by them not wearing a mask made me at risk. I feel this was a Eye Dr. They should be more careful and considerate to their patients. Needless to say I cancelled my appointment, she asked me if I wanted to reschedule? I sad "NO! I WONT BE BACK. She said other patients aren't wearing a mask, I sad I can't control them but the employees are at risk as well. Other Eye care offices are taking your temperature at the door and require mask are required by everyone. read more

I have called this place twice to set up an appointment because I'm a new patient. The first time, i was asked to hold because the lady was with someone and left me on hold for 30 minutes so I hung up. Just now, the second time, I was asked my information, then left on hold for about 15 minutes. If this is how they treat their customers/new patients, then I want NO part of their business. Incredible experience! After a massage I woke up the next morning with pick eye (in both eyes) I immediately went to urgent care and the urgent care doctor provided me prescription eye drops. Unfortunately, on top of pink eye in both eyes, I had an allergic reaction to the eye drops prescribed, the urgent care doctor recommended that I go to the ER. Instead, I scheduled an appointment with Optometric Vision Experience and within minutes after I started my exam they noticed that I was having an allergic reaction and prescribed the correct prescription eye drops. My eye's were back to normal in just a few days. The staff was friendly and the doctor was very knowledgable. I am forever grateful! read more

I called this office at 11:00 am to make an appointment with Dr. Jury. We are long time patients and have not been in for quite awhile. The person Liz, who answered the phone told me were were STILL in the computer and there wouldn't be anything available until October 4. When I finally said ok the problems soon began. I gave her our Medicare Advantage Numbers and to her we had DavisVision as well. Liz said the numbers for Medicare weren't coming through on the app. and then I asked her to call it in and gave her the phone number. Every single time I had to give her information she would yell what "what"? loudly into the phone - whether it was my address, patient d.o.b. anything! She then said she would call me back. I waited and then got out the Medicare Advantage Info. online. Opt. isn't covered and she never asked for the DavisVision Id. I called back to let her know that and she didn't say thank you - this is at a bare minimum some one working in an Optometrist's Office should know. Then I asked her to call DavisVision because I could read the Office Visit, Lenses, etc. amounts. She took our ID numbers and said she would have to call back - why? Anyway, much later she does call back and stated " I have them on the phone - what is your husband's name? I told her his legal name - and then she said what -and spell it? and what again. Then she stated I thought his name is Tom - I said yes but what I spelled to her is his legal name - then she said something unintelligible with an attitude. I hung up. This entire process took 60 minutes and we still DO NOT HAVE AN APPOINTMENT! We no longer wish to have an appointment either! First of all, I was taken in promptly. I didn't have to wait. Everyone at the front end was nice and friendly. The optician that helped me offered to fix one of the arms on my worn out glasses. They don't pressure you to buy their glasses. The optometrist was professionally straight forward with his expertise and was especially caring. He didn't rush the process. He took the time to hear our story and offer us advice that benefits my health. My copay to get my contact lenses prescription was very affordable, lower than what I had expected. My kids have been going here for years and my son hasn't been seen in almost two years. We walked in today and Andrew helped us, I was letting Andrew know his current glasses broke and how we were trying on tuxedos today for prom, and that senior prom was next weekend. My sons warranty was even expired, as it's been awhile. Andrew immediately got my son a new pair of frames at no charge, he continuously was polite, professional, and letting us know he wouldn't want him to go without seeing with all this important stuff going on! I stopped by the LensCrafters at the Mission Viejo Shops to request for them to help me adjust 2 pairs of Fendi sunglasses I purchased online from another retailer. Amidst COVID-19, the store was very busy serving customers but I was delightfully greeted by the store manager who was so helpful and kind. Most deserving is that I want to give a special thanks to OTTO, the Lab Manager who fixed my sunglasses in minutes and was so nice and friendly... he even came out to wave hi to me!! I just got back from an appointment that I booked last minute yesterday. They were able to see me the very next day, which was wonderful. Currently, I don't any insurance, but was in desperate need of a new contact lens prescription because I had been wearing my very last pair for about three months! Bad, I know. I was greeted by the friendly staff as soon as I walked in, and was able to browse for some future frames while I waited. They have some very nice name brand frames like Burberry, Gucci, Dior, Jimmy Choo, Coach, Michael Kors to name a few. I filled out some new patient information, and I didn't have to wait long at all. Dr. Brian Parker was amazing! He saw that I was paying out of pocket, and did his best to accommodate my needs without blowing my budget. He is very personable, easy to talk to, and explained everything he was doing so that I felt comfortable and also very well informed. Even though this was my first visit being a new patient, Dr. Parker listened and helped to alleviate my unique concerns (I'm pregnant, and that can effect your eyesight! I didn't know that), and I felt like I'd been seeing him for years. He tried a new pair of contacts on me that felt much better than my last ones, (I have an astigmatism in my L eye and my previous contacts sometimes rotate causing dry irritation) and I'm grateful he took the time to notice the little details. Awesome selection of eyewear and the staff at this place are fantastic. In my opinion you really find out how good customer service is when something doesn't go right. I bought a couple pairs of new prescription sunglasses in June and a couple weeks ago I noticed the paint was flaking on the Oakley Sunglasses inside the nose piece. I took them in showed the staff last week and they said no problem we'll have a new pair for you asap. I didn't have to send them in to Oakley directly or do anything... they called said the new pair were in, changed out the lenses for me and that was that.
