We have been going here for our yearly exams for years. Honestly, the experience can vary depending on who you work with. We really like Dr. Megan Collette when she does our exams, but honestly all of the doctors have always been good. For the staff who handle the insurance and finalize the glasses orders, we really like Karen (the brunette with glasses). She knows exactly what our insurance covers and what it doesn't. I am reviewing the Optometrist here, not the store. She was very kind and did a great job. I need cataract surgery and I'm trying to pass the DMV test to renew my driver's license. What really upsets me is she told me I had to get a referral for the eye surgery from my PCP. My insurance changed and they dropped me like a rock. Won't even give me a simple referral. This "medical mafia" of insurance and primary care providers is criminal at best. read more

I used to have great success with LensCrafters, but I went to the Temecula Mall mall the other day to buy glasses. I had my prescription in hand stood about 4 feet from the counter three people that were working there just sat there and stared at me and kept talking to each other didn't stop just say can we help you or anything like that. Last year I went to another location to buy glasses in our area from LensCrafters and paid everything in full. They were very expensive as they are trifocals at week six I started calling asking for an update on when they might be in they said they're still working on it week seven and eight rolled around and then week nine came still no glasses. I went down to ask if there was an ETA on when I would be getting the glasses they said they will call me when they come in I told him after nine weeks I no longer want to wait and I would like a refund which I did get their service level has went to crap and unfortunately for the cost you would think that there would be a little bit better service than this. I'm gonna seek another place to get my current prescription that I would like. Hopefully, you guys do better for other people in the future. read more

I had my appointment at LensCrafters on July 11 2025 and it was just for an eye exam andnew lenses. When the lenses came in, I wasn't sure about the clarity for distance but I took my glasses with the new lenses home and discovered that I could only see clearly in the top 1/8 of an inch of the lens, just below the frame. So, I made an appointment to have the lenses checked and re-ordered hopefully to have clear vision. I'm not sure if they made any change at all because I still cannot see clearly at distance. I will not go to LensCrafters again and I would not recommend this business. read more

What a terrible experience! I got message saying my glasses were ready (Tuesday) and somehow, after inquiring about it today to be picked up (Friday), I'm being told they lost them! Now I have to wait a longer time just for a straightforward prescription. How irresponsible to pay for such expensive glasses and services just for them to be misplaced. They seem respectful, but obviously disorganized. I'm extremely disappointed and frustrated since glasses are a necessary accessory. My star rating is solely based on the turn around time to receive your glasses. I have used Lenscrafters for over 8 years, and they are more expensive than other places around. However I have continued to go there because they usually get your glasses to you in a few days. I ordered my glasses on 12/24, and was told I would receive them in 2 weeks, we are now at 3 weeks and I still don't have them. Keep in mind, the glasses are paid for, since you have to pay for them upfront. Considering this place charges a premium for their name, they should go back to getting your glasses same day. I will not be returning, I will support smaller Mom and Pop's stores instead. **again this is solely based on turnaround time and pricing. I have no complaints on the in-person customer service. read more

If you are trying to get the new Meta AI glasses please read before you go!!!!!!!! I was trying to purchase the new Meta glasses online, but in order to purchase these, you need to schedule a demo before. So I scheduled the demo two weeks ago. The only location where they do the demos in order for you to purchase them was here in Temecula. On the day of the appointment when I arrive, I was immediately asked if this was a purchase for myself or somebody else. I told them it was for a family member. The lady immediately said she cannot help me because she needs that person there also so they can program the wristband to them. I told her that this was for gift and wanted to surprise them. I tried to ask her if I can buy the glasses and bring them back so he can get them fitted and the sales associate said no it can't work that way. Then she told me that there is a month waitlist to be able to purchase the lens anyway. Basically they couldn't help me at all and made it impossible to buy these glasses. I wish they would inform this information on the email so that way people who come from far away are aware. I came from 40 miles away just to be told that they can't help me. Lens Crafters please put all this important information on the email confirming appointment because it's infuriating coming from far away when I could've avoided the long drive. read more

This is my second time visiting this location without being greeted by an associate. The first time, I didn't spend much time in there and browsed. The second time, I came with my mother and my sons. We browsed the frames, and tried some on for about 10 minutes. Still no greeting, nothing. I hate to bring up race, but I almost felt discriminated against because everyone else was greeted but us. As a business owner myself, customer service is huge. If the service is below par, I don't care how nice your products are, I will not patronize your business and tell others not to as well. I had a great experience at this LensCrafters location. I had new multifocal, daily disposable contact lenses recommended to me and it's changed my life. I can see distance. I can see my phone. I can see my computer. For the first time in my life, I don't have to wear glasses to see one of these three things while wearing my contacts. The doctor gave me plenty of trials to see which lens would work best and saw me a second time free of charge to hear my experience and feedback. I really appreciate his commitment to a positive experience for me in the comfort and wearability of the lens, but also the crispness of my vision. The contacts I ordered came right away. The frames that I chose were fitted to perfection, and delivered sooner than I expected. I usually have a hard time fitting my prescription into a thin frame like the Ray-Ban's in the photo, but they were able to choose an ultra thin transition lens that would work. Very excited! I do pay a little bit more to go to LensCrafters, and I feel they earned every penny. read more

The staff was excellent, the check-in time was perfectly reasonable, and the doctor we both met with (Dr. Kho) could not have made it easier or more fun. She was extremely knowledgeable, very friendly, answered questions for us (no matter how stupid, and some definitely were), and she even tolerated me taking pictures of my husband which interrupted his exam. Very professional and made it easy on us to get our first pairs of glasses. I will definitely be going here again without question. They had a large selection of frames, a friendly staff milling about to help with our selection, and got us in and out within two hours from check-in to purchase. Dr. Kho is the reason we will be returning...she could not have been easier to work with and her laugh is absolutely addicting, I would return just to hear that laugh again on its own. Went to LensCrafters in the mall with my new prescription from my ophthalmologist. I had a specific frame style in mind. Reid, a team lead, and I believe an optician, greeted me and I explained what I was looking for. I have a challenge finding appropriate frames as I have a very small face and most frames are too big. I also wanted a specific color. He immediately went to grab a frame which was the exact color and size I was looking for. Done deal on the first try - and that's a first for me! By the way, they have a large selection of frames, including the name designers. Reid is very knowledgeable and professional. He explained everything thoroughly and answered any questions I had. I had scheduled an appointment to get my prescription adjusted and was told to check in when I arrived, at which point I would go over the prescription with a rep, and then if the prescription were still giving me problems, I would be taken back to see the dr. Come the day of the appointment, I was greeted by a rep named Gina, who asked me what I was here for. I told her "to have my prescription adjusted," she then motioned over to a side table and asked me to sit. I right away did not appreciate her tone. Her questioning of what was wrong with the prescription came off as an interrogation as if I was lying. I nonetheless told her the problem. She then, continuing with a poor tone, told me that I would have to make an appointment with the doctor to have my prescription adjusted. I told her that was what I was here to do. She was confused and asked me again when my appointment was (remember, I told her this when I checked in). At this point, I'm pretty annoyed and tell her to look it up; she has the Ipad and access to their appointment system, after all. After another short interrogation and terrible attitude, looking at me like I'm crazy or lying, she finally goes off t do her job and looks it up. It turns out that they should have had me check-in at the doctor's side of the office (I was not told this when I made the appointment), a factor they should have been able to know and would have if they had simply utilized their appointment system accessible by the Ipads and computers they had. Instead, they gave me a very hostile customer experience and made me feel like I was mistaken. The customer should not be responsible for helping the employee figure out what type of appointment they are here for, what that entails regarding how the rep should check them in and where, whether the appointment includes a visit with dr, etc. The customer should be able to check-in by stating their name and the time of their appointment, at which point the rep should access their appointment calendar, identify the purpose of the appointment and then understand the next steps in the customer experience. I feel that I did all the heavy lifting during this appointment and guided Gina every step of the way, helping her overcome her confusion and reminding her to utilize the resources at her disposal. By doing this, I managed to ensure that I had a successful, though exaughsting customer experience. read more

There was no way to get a new pair and my daughter has a strong astigmatism, so a pair couldn't be made for her on the spot. If I could give zero stars, I would. Had a 1240 appointment for an eye exam. Had the preassesment and waited an additional 2 hours just for the 2nd half of the exam. What's the point of an appointment if I have to wait this long to complete the exam? Horrible customer service. Seems like they schedule appointments and don't consider wait time for their patients. Also, Brandon Zoeckler has no patience for his assistants and should be held accountable for treating them like absolute shit. No coworker should be humiliated or disrespected. Just because you are In a higher position? Humble yourself. This event of Brandon calling his assistants "Idiots" happened at 3:15pm 1/20/22. I wish the best for anyone that is working there. Just got back from my eye exam - for contacts. Went through all the tests and ended with Brandon Zoeckler, OD. I've had Air Optic Contacts for over ten years. Like them. Wanted them. Dr. Zoeckler went through all the reasons I could not have them and it was #1 it's not good to sleep with contacts. Even if they are rated that you can - you shouldn't unless you are a Fireman who has to get up fast. He showed me the safety ratings. Air Optic lens have a 170 rating - the next closest was a 150. I kept going back to wanting the higher rating. I was told it was $100 a year more. I said I was fine with that. At that point Dr. Zoeckler stood up and told me to go to the Oceanside Lenscrafters because he would not be selling me the Air Optic. I felt bullied sitting in the office. I left with a prescription for what - Brandon Zoeckler and the front desk told me were a "new product". I'm now wondering what kind of kick back is he getting from selling the new "contact Lens". Do I not have a right to receive a more expensive, higher safety rating contact lens if I want them? *Also does anyone know how to contact Lenscrafters??? I think they should know how they are being represented. And it must be said I used the Oceanside office of Lenscrafters for years and always received amazing service. AVOID THIS DOCTOR! read more
