My husband, mom and I came to Verizon in November to see about upgrading a phone on our family plan. We had Leo as an associate and we all found him to be really helpful and knowledgeable. He offered ideas and solutions that seemed to give us the best deal and service for our needs. We ended up also switching our internet provider completely from Spectrum to Verizon, which we hadn't planned on. Instead of having to do a trade in, Leo suggested we add a 4th line on our plan, which wouldn't cost extra, and this would allow us a promotional offer that would save us money in the long run - great! We came back in January because our December bill was unexpectedly much higher than we anticipated (+$120 higher). Leo was our associate again, and we were so relieved that he resolved our issue completely. While the issue was frustrating, he seemed genuinely concerned for us & he was thorough in pursuing a solution to credit our account the $120. He assured us that what he had set us up with in November was correct, and that he would correct the errors to reflect that. He did just that, and we left feeling confident. He definitely understood our needs, he never felt gimmicky or salesy, and even though we came in with an issue, we were really happy with the way he resolved it. I had a very frustrating and uncomfortable experience at this Verizon location. In November, I came in only to review my upgrade options. I clearly told the staff that I was leaving the country for almost two weeks and planned to officially upgrade when I returned. Despite that, I was repeatedly encouraged to place the order that day. I specifically asked if there would be any issues holding the phone while I was out of the country, and I was reassured multiple times that it would not be a problem and that notes would be made on my account. While I was on vacation, I received repeated calls and texts from the store asking me to pick up the phone, despite having already explained, more than once, that I was out of the country. This was frustrating and unnecessary, especially while traveling internationally. When I returned, the store initially could not locate my phone, though they eventually found it. They stated they don't hold phones for more than 4 days. I also returned my old phone to this location for the trade-in credit, but it has now been two months and the credit has still not appeared on my bill. For comparison, my boyfriend traded in his phone at a different Verizon location and received his credit without issue. In addition to the service issues, there was highly unprofessional behavior during both visits. Two employees repeatedly scratched and adjusted their groin area while interacting with customers. One employee in particular placed his hand inside his pants multiple times in plain view, which was extremely inappropriate and uncomfortable to witness in a professional retail environment. He was also very fidgety. That same employee was also openly rude and condescending while speaking to customer support on the phone, behaving as though others were incompetent. At this point, I will be contacting Verizon directly or going to a different location to resolve the trade-in issue. I will not be returning to this store. read more

Weird/RUDE customer service experience. I came in with one simple goal..ask a few questions about a Gizmo Watch for my son and place an order. Instead.. The employee repeatedly told me I should "just get the Apple Watch" because the Gizmo would supposedly get wet and stop working. That's an interesting claim considering the Gizmo has a 5ATM water-resistance rating and is designed for swimming, with a Water Lock mode specifically for water activities. If you're going to steer customers away from a product, at least know the facts first. Before trying to convince me an Apple I watch was better for a 5 year old... I ended up leaving and going to another Verizon location, where they actually answered my questions instead of trying to convince me to buy something I didn't ask for. When we bought our new phones in June they said they had a promotion going where we buy their accessories and their store would give us back $100.00 a month for 4 months. This has been the worst Verizon store I've had the displeasure of dealing with. This is not a corporate store and makes it hard because they are not directly owned by Verizon. Even talking with Verizon customer service I was told that they have non stop issues with stores like this. They charged us a $39 setup fee for each of our phones and didn't even set them up for us. Then Verizon charged us again for the to "activate" each line. The person that helped us at the store said Verizon would refund us for the charges for the activation fees. When I called to do this, Verizon told me they don't waive the fees, then said that the store shouldn't have charged us $39 each to setup our phones. On top of that, the store didn't give us credit for our trade-ins. I had to be on the phone for hours with Verizon to get it fixed as the people at the store said they can't access Verizons system. Plus the person helping us told us all the incorrect pricing on all the accessories and only found it they were double what he quoted us after looking over the receipt once I got home. Do yourself a favor and go to a corporate store so at least they can correct their mistakes and not lay them in your lap. It has been months after getting the phones and I am still trying to get the credit on the last phone. This has been an absolute nightmare. read more

I informed sale person Nick that i needed to test the service and that I would return if it didn't meet expectations, although being very attentive he fail to be transparent on all return fees id the device didn't fit my needs. LOVE THIS STORE AND LOVE KYLA!! Kyla has been an incredible help to me and is an excellent employee. She hooked me up a few days ago when I switched back to Verizon from AT&T (going with AT&T was a mistake - Verizon's the best!) and I got some great deals. She hooked me up with some promotional discounts and I got a great deal on my beautiful new blue iPhone 12 Pro Max and new pink iPad Air! With this new unlimited data service and two new devices, my new monthly bill is barely more than just the price of my monthly service with AT&T! I am thrilled to be back. I cannot say enough good things about Kyla. She is very helpful, knowledgeable, patient, and nice. I unfortunately witnessed a customer yelling at her unfairly - a grown ass man with his wife and daughter who purchased a non-refundable item then demanded a refund. He then said he was being held hostage and threatened to call the cops. Kyla was the only employee working and I was the only other person in the store. What grown man threatens to call the police on a young woman while berating her in front of his daughter?! What a disgusting human being. Me and my mom came to this Verizon after going to a different one nearby because they weren't very helpful. We came to this store and Leo was super helpful and knowledgeable. Although he is new to Verizon he definitely didn't seem new. All of the questions we had he had detailed answers and explanations for. He was looking at what was the best value and option for us given what we were looking for. He was super patient and an honest salesman. Telling us what was worth the money and what wasn't. Usual disappointments have been 1) adding insurance to my plan without letting me know, or 2) losing my trade-in phone. Both times I have fought the call center at Verizon for their incompetent franchises. However, this time I was pleasantly surprised. AVOID THIS STORE. Last week I got a iPhone 6, 128gb from the Verizon wireless on Ynez (by Men's warehouse). They were fast, the store was clean and I they put the phone bill $399.99 + tax on my bill because we are company. I go today to this store because they are the only store with iPhone 6's in the area. #1 RIP OFF They force me to buy insurance claiming: "Our GM requires everyone gets insurnce" - WHAT A JOKE they wouldn't even let me purchase the $99 apple care because they claim "Its not worth it and it doesn't cover anything" #2 RIP OFF If I don't want insurance they require I buy ONE accessory atleast $35.00 so that I can protect my phone (Car chargers qualify even though they have nothing to do with protection. #3 RIP OFF They scam you by saying "Oh we will waive your $20 setup fee if you buy any other accessory valued at $19.95 #4 RIP OFF They couldn't even put the $399.99 phone bill on my account because they require upfront payment. . . The associates here were too rude and lazy to help my mother reset my sons gizmo gadget so we could add a phone number to his watch. They claimed "they don't get paid to help with that, and she can watch a tutorial online and do it herself." Shady AF! I highly don't recommend using this Verizon retailer. They duped my elderly mother into purchasing an iPad and additional services then charged her a whole bunch of extra fees. Jenna was very helpful, friendly, and very knowledgeable. I left satisfied with my tech shopping experience. I definitely recommend this location. 5 stars and 2 thumbs up! Thanks, Jenna! Here is the real review: When I was in the store buying my new phone, the manager felt the need to tell me I should go on Yelp and leave Jenna a good review. Here's the thing, if I thought that I received good customer service and I felt motivated to write a review, I would. I don't need to be told to do something kind. Actually, I didn't receive spectacular service or anything, and in fact Jenna wasn't even that knowledgeable. Every question had to be answered by the manager or her coworker. And the manager? I don't think she smiled the whole time and seemed to be in a bad mood. Despite that, I went ahead and posted a very nice review the next day, the aforementioned words at the top of this page. Not five minutes goes by when someone from that store texts me and asks me to write ANOTHER review on Praiseworthy.com. Wow. Again, I went ahead and wrote a nice review. Not 30 minutes goes by and Jenna called my phone. I answer and she tries to sell me five business phone lines. No "thank you for your business, I just wanted to tell you about something ", no "how are you today", just a straight sales call. A word of advice: you might want to actually greet someone and thank them for their business when you try to sell them something not even 24 hours later from the last time they spent hundreds of dollars in your store. Also, I decide to return the Verizon Hum device because it did not work as advertised. The Wi-Fi hotspot was extremely slow and after 2 hours and 3 different calls with 3 different people, ranging from Hum sales to techsupport to Verizon sales and receiving no help, I return to the store to return the device. There's 5 employees helping 1 couple but I'm informed I have to wait for the manager, who is busy with the couple. After 10 minutes, the manager comes over and informs me there will be a $30 restocking fee and I ask him if he can waive it, after being told by Verizon sales support that they could. He informs me that he cannot and it's just their policy. He takes my debit card to refund the tax that I was charged on the device yesterday and tells me it will go back on my card. I asked, "I thought you were going to take that out of the restocking fee?" He responds, "Yeah, I just didn't want to deal with it." Me: "Does that mean I don't have to pay the fee??" Him: Ya." I really feel that my business was not appreciated, I felt I was just a sale, and felt that I was treated rudely by the second manager. If I could afford the down time, I'd cancel my Verizon service altogether. That is how you go from 5 stars to 1 star in 24 hours. read more

Very rude and deceitful practices. I went in to look at the iPhones on Saturday afternoon. The worker there was condescending the entire time, kept pushing for us to upgrade. Even going as far as telling me my current phone would cost 200 dollars, using asurion, to replace the screen and said we should just get new phones because it's not worth it.
