Finally, about 20-30 minutes later this same employee appeared to "snap out of it" and finally came over to assist me after I'd been sitting at the Genius Bar for 45 minutes. There was no one else being assisted at the bar and the store was not that busy. Not impressed with the support in this store. After a frustrating rant at the two, I was directed to the "Genius Bar" at the Apple Store in River Park Square. Well, thank GOD they did! I was impressed the moment I walked in. I was greeted, my appointment was in the system along with the long case log. They directed me to "Karen" who immediately was able to unlock and wipe the new phone to its factory settings. After some skillful diagnostics, she was able to determine the problem was in the restoration sequence from the old phone. From there she was able to revive the new phone and get it to working status. Yes, I would have to reinstall my apps again, but I don't care. They said they would order a "backup" phone in case this one dies again. But, I think it's going to be fine. Thanks to the team at the Genius Bar - especially Karen, who was patient, efficient and personable. My thanks, also, to the store manager (sorry, I didn't get his name) for his understanding and compassion. The store is bright and lively with plenty of helpful, knowledgeable staff moving about taking care of whoever walks in. If you ever have a need for service on any of your Apple devices, or you're looking for top drawer products and service, this is the place to go.

The "Manager" in this store sold me defective service and a phone. I got NO bars where I lived at…read more I returned and told him this and said id like a refund. He then told me that its the phone that's defective. So after a long and drawn out disagreement, aggressively charged me to kick me out of the store, cops called, and I called my attorney(Thankfully, I get one for this kinda thing through my benefits). So he offers a refund of $29 on a $149 phone because he says the phone is defective and he's not going to buy a phone that he sold me back. I denied the refund and am going to let my attorney deal w/ this. I then went to Verizon and explained to them what happened. They checked the phone out, said its fine and the guy a fraud. Its not the money, its the principal of the situation. And consumer rights and this IS NOT how you run a successful business. The receipt says we have 7 days to get a full refund. I had the phone for 18 hours. And he denied the refund then tried to low ball me with $29 bucks. Stay away from this store if you want working phones and service.
