Was sold a defective standing desk; told to call product support to obtain the correct parts. Spent 40 minutes on the phone, parts no longer made, and my credit card payment couldn't be refunded because someone had "deleted the transaction" out of the system. Returned the desk to the store, was told since the order had been cancelled a refund had probably already occurred and to check my statement. I drove home and did so--no refund. I took photos of the statement and returned to the store; clerk wanted a printed statement. She called the manager, who said to do a refund "without receipt," so the money finally went back on my card. The manager said, in a couple of weeks, if a second refund appeared on the card, to "let us know. You know, be that person," implying that I might be dishonest. Given all that had happened, I found that attitude offensive--I fully intended to notify them if a refund appeared. In short, this store sells defective products, expects the customer to do all the legwork to set the situation right, and is rude in addition. I won't shop here again and suggest others don't either. read more

Definitely a 5 star experience! The clerks are always so helpful; plus the prices are great. They'll match prices online, so that's a bonus too. There's a huge parking lot and the store is pretty easy on/off from the freeway. If you don't want to spend any time in the store, you can always order online and then just zip into the pick spot to grab the item. Not quite curbside pick-up, but almost! And, they usually have in-stock items pulled within the hour. Definitely my go-to place for any large order copying too. Jae is super helpful and efficient! read more

Yesterday I went in during the afternoon to check out a couple of particular laptops that I had been researching. No luck, but an associate showed me a Pavilion, which I did not want. She turned me around and showed me another computer and, as she assured me that this computer had many of the features that I wanted from the other computers, including the backlit keyboard, I bought it. Mistake. I opened the box, started the process of getting the computer going . . . and discovered she had pushed another Pavilion on me. I went to the web site and checked and it was a computer I had rejected because it DID NOT have many of the features I had stated that I wanted; no backlit keyboard for one . . . AND it was more expensive! I went back this morning, 8am, and returned the computer. The normal morning crew that I usually deal with was on duty and one man returned it and checked his phone . He found one of the computers I was ACTUALLY looking for at the Division store. 2 for the associate who seemed more interested in selling me something and getting me out of her hair. I'll add one back as I should have been paying better attention. I do research for a reason and I know what I want when I come it. 5 for the morning associate who fixed the problem and found me one of the computers that I was looking for. The reason this gets five stars is because of the great customer service that I have experienced here. The store itself is comparable to any other office supply store. If you are driving to the store, even though you can see it from the interstate, you will need to use a little creative navigation. You can, of course, order what you want and pick it up in the store. Your merchandise is usually available very quickly, if not almost immediately. Pick up is simple. If you see a price for an item at Office Depot online, the store will match the price. Overall a great example of how customer service can win you new customers. read more

The service was really great. I have gotten a chair and a desk here. They treated me like a valued customer each time.

I have only stopped here a few times as this location is not really convenient for me. Prices seem a bit high here, but each time I was in a hurry so I guess I paid for convenience. Store seems to be kept up ok. But again, I was in a hurry each time I came in here so I kind of had tunnel vision. Staff has been helpful each time I came in here, but not particularly friendly or engaging. Selection is about average unless you are looking for something unique, then the selection is rather poor. I would say use these guys in a pinch if you are close. Otherwise, you could probably do just as well for price, service, and overall value at another office store. read more

I was totally impressed with Clint at the 3rd st location. He helped me out with an exchange of a printer , got me a better printer for the same price as the one I returned, was kind, understanding , compassionate and professional! I was previously at the Sprague store but they didn't work with me like Clint did, had they gone the extra mile like he did it could of saved me a trip to another location, but all in all I'm still really satisfied with Office Depot. read more

She asks how the print will be used and who will see/enjoy the final product. She asks these questions to maximize the product and service she is about to complete for you. For a company that caters to businesses they don't seem to care about their customers. We have had several problems with this location and while the manager is a nice guy, the majority of the associates are either unprofessional or simply don't care. 1. Staff doesn't care about your time. I called to find out if they had cameras in stock was told they did. Went in to purchase only to find cardboard tags resembling cameras that you would have to order online. If someone takes time to call your store you should care and be professional enough not to give them misinformation. 2. We purchased 2 copies of Business Microsoft Office in store. They give you a code on the receipt, upon set up neither code worked, this store didn't help. We spent several hours with tech support only to find out it was ordered wrong twice. 3. Lately I was trying to make purchase of toner for a printer we purchased here. The toner at this store is an exorbitant $146.99, other stores including Walmart have it for $110.99. A manager made us come over to an unprotected register and proceeded to take her face mask off when talking to us. I used the price match policy and showed the manager my phone with the Walmart price. The manager said I have to show her it is in stock today (I have never heard that before). She proceeded to make me show her I could purchase it today. I asked her to look up on her computer (like they have done for my wife in the past) and she was snippy and said she couldn't do it. Long story short I did get the discount with a lot of attitude. I can't get anyone from Office Depot to verify the policy even what is printed on their website is totally different from what she said. False Advertising. Office Depot Price Match. If you find a lower price on a new identical item in-store or online at a Competitor or Office Depot at the time of purchase or within 14 days after your purchase, show us the lower price and we will match the price or refund you the difference. Once I gave this one-star review on Google, they put a comment under my review which I responded to like they asked. There has been no contact back and I have been spam emailed by Office Depot even after I have unsubscribed from future emails. I reached out to Office Depot Corporate to discuss the issues and I can say the new Regional Manager and corporate could care less. All in all, a pretty unprofessional company, that doesn't seem to care about your time or business. read more

I had a horrible experience this morning at this store. I went in to quickly pick up some business items and had my cute little Corgi in the car. I asked the front clerk where my item was located and was told the totally wrong area. Found another clerk, he took me to the item. I went up front thinking I was almost done. While there was one clerk checking out a customer, FOUR other clerks (id'd by their jackets) were standing around a cart looking inside at a dog whose owner was also there. I approached them and asked if someone could help me ... one of them said there's a clerk right there and pointed to the one clerk. I said I really didn't want to wait and she continued to say "that clerk will help you." I asked again why none of the 4 clerks standing there could help me and she said ... "they're not authorized." At that point I asked her to call a manager which she finally did. Meanwhile the four clerks were talking and one of them came and proceeded to tell me she was open. Then during the entire process she was smirking like this was all too much -- When someone whose badge said assistant mgr. came on the scene- she was also sarcastic and talking down to me. Finally a male manager came up to talk to me and again told him what had happened. It was only then that I felt anyone was even listening to a anything I was saying and giving the impression that I was being taken with any semblance that customer service matters to anyone in the store. I detest bad customer service and they made it worse by lying tome and then all four of them acting like I was the one in the wrong. Won't ever shop there again!!!! read more

How can I shop in Office Depot? I was in The Office Depot a couple of hours ago in Spokane and looking around and some manager or someone was up on a ladder and he said can I help you and I said no no I'm okay here goes. So he says to me will you wandering aimlessly and out store doesn't look like you're looking for anything! Wow so that's kind of a rude attitude when he told me I was wandering aimlessly in his store they were a few items I had in mind to buy one was brown manila envelopes in a box but they are way overpriced at Office Depot. I was also kind of scanning store and look at the Clarence before he saw me with the obviously didn't see me doing also I had to look did some paper products wish you didn't see me doing so instead he decided to just be rude and tell me I was wondering Emily through the store so anyway I wandered aimlessly back to my car and I will never go back to that office Depot or any other office Depot again read more
