I just left this store, and I am still stunned. I am a Sprint customer, but due to T-Mobile's acquisition of Sprint I now of course have to go to T-Mobile stores. I came here to look at my options for upgrading my phone, as I have been eligible for an upgrade for a long time. The female store rep that I talked to (she didn't have a nametag on, but she was shorter, had blonde hair that was braided, wearing pink croc shoes, and I believe she had colored eyes) literally told me that she would not open up my sprint account to look at my upgrade/plan options unless I allowed her to put a T-Mobile sim card in my phone. I told her I didn't want to do this, because I had not done my research and would like to just stay with my existing Sprint plan as long as I possibly can. She said that it's not that she CAN'T open my account, but that she WON'T open my account because her "metrics" as a sales rep will take a hit if she opens my account without switching me first to a T-Mobile sim card. I am SHOCKED. She literally, without shame, told me that she refused to do her job because her personal commission/metrics would be negatively affected! When I asked her again, "So you are telling me that this store cannot log in to my Sprint account to help me?" She replied, "No, it's not that we can't. It's that I don't want to because it will make my numbers look bad." Because I was not willing to do what she wanted me to do, she was willing to REFUSE to do her job so her monthly numbers wouldn't take a hit. She is NOT allowed to do this, FULL STOP. And her blatant disregard and disrespect for me, the customer, was shocking. She pushed so hard, that I had to tell her that I was not comfortable proceeding at all now that I know how upset she would be with me if we proceeded without me doing what she wanted me to do (get a t-mobile sim card). It's like arguing with the chef who is about to make your food -- at some point it is better to go get food somewhere else, lest the chef takes revenge and spits in your food when you aren't looking. This horribly unprofessional sales rep probably would have messed with my plan and made my life miserable had I continued to push her to open my account. I used to work at Sprint and I personally know how much damage a sales rep can do to a customers plan just by selecting or deselecting certain boxes on a customers plan. I don't know who the manager of this store is, but this woman needs to be reprimanded or fired immediately. This was so unbelievably wrong and disturbing. Worst customer service I have ever received. I will now be going online to try to figure out how to upgrade my phone by myself. Thanks for the nasty customer service T-mobile! read more
