Very frustrated with Verizon. My boyfriend has been one of their loyal customers for over 5 years and they just made us pay $400 because they didn't verify a random person being added to his account while he was deployed years ago. This happened while he was well out of state and they allowed this person to defer payments to the point their phone was suspended. At no point they never thought to call my boyfriend to verify the added mystery number. He didn't have access to internet as he was deployed. They had us on the phone for an hour and when we thought we came to some sort of resolution their billing department told us that it was either pay $600 (our bill of $200 and then the mystery $400) or our phones would be shut off. Since we weren't satisfied with this we let our phones be turned off and went in store to see if they could help. Disappointingly they couldn't help us either as this was apparently a fraud claim. They said we'd have to get lawyers involved if we didn't want to pay but $400 is nothing to this big corporation so why didn't they just waive it for their loyal customer? In the end all they could say was, "thanks for your service but you have to prove this wasn't you" ... like he was literally DEPLOYED??? How could he be adding someone to his account while on the middle of the ocean? We ended up having to pay off this phone that wasn't ours just so we could get our phones turned back on. We'll be looking for a new phone service that actually treats their loyal customers with decency. If you choose Verizon just know that they have no in person location where you can resolve issues and you'll just be redirected to a billing person in India where you'll have to argue just to have nothing done. read more

Jlab earbuds, purchased 12/21/22 did not work correctly. When returned to the Victra/Verizon store (Riverpark Square) on 1/23/23, the surley clerk (mgr) said "there's nothing we can do." Worst place to do business. Do not buy from them. We ordered a phone online, went to pick it up and it didnt work... happens, right? Usually a store will replace or refund but they made it my problem to have to take it to a REAL verizon store to get one that works. That's right, the Northtown verizon is not a real verizon.. dont waste your time. 4 hours later we have a phone. No thanks to the snotty A.. B.... manager at northtown. If I could give this store 0 stars I totally would. Last May 2019 I went to this store and saw Karley R. I went in to upgrade my 5GB plan to unlimited since I kept going over and have been paying around $160 for only 5 GB of data. Keep in mind that I was only going in to change my plan not get a new phone or anything. Karley informed me that I was on an outdated plan and can get me unlimited and since they have a promo it comes with an iPad and upgrade phone for free...I informed her I don't need a new phone and I am happy with the iPhone 8 Plus I had. She said it will be free and along with an iPad that is free for this promo special they had. Again I told her I already had an iPad. She said that this promo would be great to take advantage of since you are getting a free device and it will be less than your monthly bill. So I ended up with the iPad thinking why not since it's free..call it ignorance or whatever but turns out I've been making payments on the iPad. It's partly my fault since I have it set up on auto pay so I never logged into Verizon to see the breakdown until a couple weeks ago. I pay $162 for one phone line for unlimited and one iPad. That is insane! I am defiantly looking at switching providers for coverage. read more

I would give zero stars if it would let me. Check your receipts. Had a redux charge for 30 dollars?! When I said I didn't want it they said it was nonRefundable. When I looked on Verizon website they had no idea what it was. Victra is a retailer that over charged me for everything. My phone was more expensive then the Verizon website. I had a $20 set up and go charge when Verizon website had none. 60$ for tempered glass?? The exact same product and packaging and warrenty is $15 on amazon. Victra you should be ashamed! read more

Went here planning to switch from my carrier and get a new iPhone. My iPhone was stolen and when I got back to town I went here. I also on my trip broke my debit card and couldn't get in for my replacement but was under the impression I would be able to link my bank account for future payments and purchase with no money down. So after a hour of paper work and checking credit. They tell me my total was around $180. I remind them I didn't have a current payment method and notice that they had charged me for a few accessories unbeknownst to me? I just got done telling them how I was tight on money and was simply needing a phone and they acted like disappointed children you don't give ice cream after dinner.. I was like okay so no option for $0 down ? No. Can you manually put my card number ? No. Can you accept my banking info? No. Alright so I guess this won't be happening today. I left with the receipt they tried charging me with. Came back the next day with cash on hand and went in explaining how they said they would save my application info so I can just come in and pay. Wrong, they ask do you have your application number? No, I didn't receive one. Yes apparently it's on the receipt that no one said had any importance for coming back in. They tell me well that person that helped u isn't here and just to come back when they worked next? Yeah no I'm going now almost a week with no phone there has to be a way? No. So I search my car and find the crumpled receipt! Finally just a few steps away from having my phone back! I put the money on the table new total $112 without the accessories they secretly pushed on me last time. Boom put the cash down. " Oh okay we can't accept cash, we'll we can but $10 minimum has to be charged to a card" I couldn't make it to my bank to go inside for my replacement and was only able to pull cash..uh no one told me this the last time I came here and was unable to purchase that you required that?? "Yup sorry nothing we can do.. "so I leave pissed and just a week or two later I received my $156 phone bill and again one today for $90 and i called my previous carrier about my plan still and was told another carrier canceled the line and ported my number?? I don't even have a phone with Verizon and they port my number with no account or sale of device that I'm being charged for?
