So you can sign up for a phone, but you cannot remove or change it by talking face to face to a real person in the store. What the absolute eff? I have had issues with this company in the past, but this is an absolute new low. Even the customer service over the phone were very helpful and made sure that our issues of switching over were taken care of. My phone number has been disconnected for two weeks now, due to non-payment. Stuff happens and times are tough, ya know? But anyways when I got the amount of money I needed that was due on my last bill, I went into this location. After waiting for about 15 minutes I was told that due to it being disconnected the only thing that could happen is I could pay the amount of my remaining balance with them, $1027.00, and then after that they could open up a new phone line for me, not even that day possibly. So I asked the guy "so you're saying that I need to pay yall over a thousand dollars, and possibly still walk out of here without a working phone." He said yes and that is all he could do for me. I told him he was high if he thought I would be paying a dime that day and began to walk out. He gave a very condescending "ooookay" to me as I walked out. A few days later I called Verizons customer service and was able to get my service reconnected with no troubles at all, paid 275.00, they even waived the 50.00 late fee I has on my account. So no dude, that isn't "all you could do for me", you could have tried a little harder and done your job like the folks on the phone did. read more

Came in on Black Friday and was greeted right away upon arrival. When I was signed in I didn't have to wait long even though the store was packed. In about 10 minutes I was approached by a guy named Braden. He is nice, patient, and knowledgable about policies and procedures for Verizon. He answered all our questions. Have honest opinions about the various Samsung phones we were interested in. Within 20 minutes we decided we were getting 2 Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ phones. We came in at 6 PM and walked out 45 minutes later with 2 brand new phones. Very happy with the service and expertise of Braden. If you go to this Verizon corporate location, ask for Braden. You will not be disappointed. Spending money on phones is expensive and dealing with customer service reps could be a hassle, if you want a pain free experience then this location can provide that. read more

I tried to trade in my old phone based on an email offer I got (pictured) $800 off an iPhone 13 and I was due for an upgrade (it's been at least 5 years since last upgrade & I've been with Verizon for 15 years). I also brought my spouse over from another carrier. They honored her $800 promo/discount, but the shipment receiving warehouse (not the store) denied my $800 promo/discount towards my new phone. They said it was too old and didn't qualify. And for some reason (this exact reason) it's in the warehouse's hands and not the store employee/managers' hands. So I went into the Valley store that set me up with the offer. I could tell before she even spoke to me the manager didn't really want to help me when she walked over. I told her one of her employees gave me this deal and the receiving warehouse wouldn't honor it nor would they send me my phone back that I mailed to them. This evil corp. wants to have its cake and eat it too. I said mail my old phone back (so I can take it to an ecoATM and get cash for it to pay towards my $800+ new device bill) but no they don't mail them back. There's a chip shortage, why would they. So the receiving warehouse stole my old phone (because they won't mail it back nor give a base credit) and in the store they said they could Try to issue a $100 credit (that's what my old phone was "worth") but No Guarantee it will go through. On top of all that I spent 1.5 hours on the phone with support the night before because they couldn't find our phones that we mailed back in because it "fell through the cracks" then miraculously they found the phones, but only applied one of the two promo offers. I spent another hour in the store for possibly a $100 credit (not guaranteed) and I had to spend $46 on new chargers. Good to know 15 years of loyalty and one new customer from a competitor isn't worthy of $800 from Verizon. I'm sure that $800 credit towards my new device would be the downfall of this corporate conglomerate. SMDH I'll be taking both our lines back to T-Mobile at the end of this current contract. read more

Horrible customer service. Went into the store with an issue after being a customer for 10 years and the rep was so rude I left and took my business to sprint. But it get worse I switch my phones over and Verizon closed my account they left one line open and billed me for 3 months. I did not know I was getting billed because they send bills electronically and had closed my account which shut off my access to the electronic account. After 3 months now I get collection calls and they are stating that I did not close all of the phone lines down. They are refusing to make it right but they will agree to only having me pay 2 months to keep it off my credit. Word to the wise make them send you a letter for every phone line you have when you close your account. Or just save more and go with Sprint. read more

We have been trying to resolve this for almost a year. We bought a new iPhone 12 last Christmas and we're offered $800 for our 8plus trade in. They explained the small increase to our bill and we thought everything was fine. We gave the phone as a gift and then turned in the 8plus. To be clear- we handed over the 8plus to staff at this store location. We were promised that the credit would show up in a few billing cycles but it never did. Our bill went up a ton! We have been trying to work with them, jumping through every hoop, calling, going to the store etc but to no avail. Despite them telling us they will "take care of it" they still won't honor their deal. According to them- they can't find our 8plus we turned in and that's somehow our fault??? Once we gave it to their employee, at their store, we have no way to control what happens to the phone! This account has been with Verizon for 10 yrs and yet they are treating US like thieves when they are the one who took our phone and are refusing to pay us for it!! read more

Over the years I must say that my experiences dealing with Verizon have been at best confusing and frustrating. A couple of days ago I went to the Evergreen and Sprague store in Spokane to have them help me figure out how to replace a phone my grandson had destroyed. This Verizon store is the place to go! I was greeted by a friendly staff who set us up with our own personal employee in just seconds! They thoroughly and patiently explained to me things on my recent bill, and helped me with my upgrade (the main reason I came in). They have a large variety when it comes to phones, and gave me advice on the best cases, screen protectors, etc. Our employee lady even helped me get my screen protector on (which I think we are probably all terrible at) and saved me money by getting me a bundle price with my phone accessories. My husband and myself have been with Verizon for 20 years and have a family of 6 who all have phones. Recently we purchased a brand new S8 with a screen protector. We were told that these particular screen protectors are a bit "wonky" and to let them know within 14 days if we had a problem and they'd be happy to replace it. Soon after this my screen protector began slipping and sliding around. Then one day it was just gone. As a full time working mother I had been all over the place that day and had no idea where it fell off. My husband called this store and spoke to a manager who told him to bring it in and they'd put another one on free of charge. I did bring my phone in and was very rudely refused help because I did not have the old screen protector. While I understand it is their policy to not exchange something if they don't have the actual product, I do believe that exceptions can be made when the product ends up lost because it did not to what it was supposed to do. I was informed that I could not speak with the manager that spoke to my husband because she was in a conference call and she couldn't be interrupted. I left feeling very frustrated and confused as to why my experience on this day differed so much from my experience the day we bought the phone (which was amazing.) We made a call to Verizon Customer Service and they had no problem sending us a new screen protector which I am waiting on. In the end my screen ended up scratched and they kindly replaced it with a new one because we were still within the 14 day exchange policy. I didn't want a new phone since now I have to redo all the info that I had just done a few days before, however I didn't want a scratched phone either. The rather lengthy reason for my review is that I felt the person who dealt with me was very rude and had absolutely no desire to help me. This employee informed me that she was indeed a manager there and that it was their policy and all I could do was buy another one. I have never felt so mistreated by Verizon until this day. It's to the point where I will no longer go back to this particular store because of this particular person. I know nothing will be done to resolve the issue of her poor customer service and I know that this review won't stop a customer from going into Verizon and purchasing an $800 phone. I also won't put this employee's name out there because she is probably a very nice person and was possibly having a bad day. However I do want this experience I had (both good and bad) with this particular store to be out there in the universe and I hope that maybe this employee can learn from my bad experience and make somebody else's experience much better. We love Verizon and most of their employees and will continue to pay for service through them. This store however will no longer get our business as long as this employee works there. read more

The assistant manager (Justin) went out of his way to help my situation so it was resolved as soon as possible without costing me anything out of my own pocket.
