Secondly, my initial message exchange was helpful, but life got busy and months went by until I woke up yesterday to find my screen so shattered that my selfie camera images looked like they were Fun House distortions. But I remembered the exchange and headed to the Village at Corte Madera to finally fix my screen. I started to dial the phone number and then decided I was being a wus. The Village isn't a huge place. Still, a few moments later, even though I hadn't given them time to answer, they called me back to ask whether I was trying to reach them and how they could help. They're located at the Macy's end of the shopping center, a few steps away from the Apple Store. The two islands have racks of phone cases that had been rifled through by frantic shoppers and Ethan and his colleague were both bundled in scarves and hats, given that the temperature was hovering a few degrees above freezing. This isn't to suggest they were huddled by the space heater or inactive. One was engaged with a customer while the other's hands were busy applying a new screen to a digital tablet. Ethan looked at my screen, admired my kitty cat screensaver, checked the model type and quoted me $99 and thirty minutes to fix my screen. I headed off to finish some holiday shopping and they got to work. When I returned approximately half an hour later, my new pristine screen was installed and they let me know they offer a year warranty on their work. These guys delivered soooo much value for the dollar! Thanks a million for delivering service with a smile and efficiency, even in the freezing cold! Basically I had the easiest and best deal for the Verizon store where I'm moving 6 lines from ATT and Comcast to Verizon so they're getting 6 new lines of business. I had it listed out exactly what I wanted and just needed everything changed. Initially when I walked in, I actually had an awesome guy named James who was very thorough and helpful. I unfortunately didn't have time that day to change the lines over and came back a different day and wish I waited on a day James was there but instead my wife and I came back to a younger guy working there and it was terrible. He was unhelpful and can tell he didn't want to be there. The entire experience took nearly 4 hours to change the lines over which I know takes a lot of time and that wasn't the problem. The problem was him trying to constantly sneak in fees here and there. Initially he agrees to remove the initiation fees since we've moving over so many lines which later he did not do and snuck it in. We eventually complained online which they removed it but he literally wrote it down on the paper and assured us he'd do it. Secondly, he tried to enroll us in a higher tier plan that we didn't need. He literally wrote down on the contact which plan we wanted and he tried to sneak in a higher tier plan which we caught. Lastly, there were issues transferring the comcast lines over which again I'm not blaming verizon, these issues happen and I'm sure comcast intentionally makes it difficult to change over, BUT the following day when we kept getting texts from Verizon saying there are issues and to speak to an associate, we calls the Verizon shop back and told them the issues and it was the SAME guy helping us the day before and he pretended he didn't know us and didn't want to help us at all. He was super unhelpful. We ended up going to a different Verizon shop and they fix the problem in literally 15 mins and they weren't even involved with our initial line transfers. Don't go to this shop or at least don't go to the associate I had. So many other Verizon shops out there and this one is really disorganized.

    Overall, my experience at this AT&T store was better than some of the other reviews would lead me…read moreto believe. I walked in on a Sunday early afternoon, and was immediately greeted by Francisco, who was friendly and knowledgeable about the different plans and current promotions. I'm not 100% satisfied because my initial question was whether or not my device (a generic chinese eBay phone) would work properly on their network. Earlier in the day I'd stopped by T-Mobile and they were honest with me that this phone wouldn't work well on their network, while Francisco didn't even bother to check the IMEI and just went ahead and signed me up. Shame on me for not being more persistent, but long story short while it works for phone calls and texts this phone doesn't support data. Would have been nice to know that before he signed me up for an unlimited data plan. Oh well, I have a better phone on order so next week I'll be able to use the data. I happened to look at their phone cases for one of my other phones while I was there - wowza - very expensive! If you know what phone you're going to get you'll be better off ordering the case online a day or two before you come in. As for the network, although that really has nothing to do with this specific location so I'm not at all factoring that into my star rating, AT&T is very much in the middle. Total I have three lines with Xfinity Mobile (Verizon), two with T-Mobile, and now one on AT&T. AT&T's network is better than T-Mobile's but not as good as Verizon's.
