Great service, interesting products not seen in major retailers, good prices, convenient parking. What could be bad????

Maybe I went there on the wrong day, I knew these guys as helpful and friendly, but got the opposite. If you guys are not helpful with your customers why go there? that what I told myself and went online to Amazon instead, at least if I am disappointed I will get a refund and exchange there. And you would think small business owners would understand that? Let me say that another time, if you don't go the extra mile, if you're not a rock star, then the online business will take you down. read more

Beyond excellent customer service. Needed a specialized battery which they had along with some specialized fuses which they also had. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, even helped me out with an available discount code for Duracell. Very happy I found these guys. Keep up the good work. read more

Ordered a battery online for my car through Batteries Plus. Later discovered I needed an additional one for under the trunk. Car has two batteries. These guys were so helpful! They installed it for me and installed the one I ended up having to purchase through Mercedes since it wasn't in stock with them. I was very impressed with this kind of customer service. I'll definitely recommend them to others! read more

Great prices .I was able to find hard to fine batteries. Very professional and friendly staff.

Every time I've been in this store, they go way beyond the call of duty. My husband just went in after going to a different store, and they bent over backwards and solved his problem. The other place couldn't care less, and it was a couple of teenagers that couldn't stay focused and were constantly on their cell phones. It's nice to see a business that takes pride and what they do. I would give them 100 stars if I could! read more

Wow, such great service. I had installed a brand new battery in my key fob, but it didn't work. They tested my battery, which had 100% power, but it still didn't work. I ended up buying a new battery, which they installed in a flash. The whole procedure was like magic--there was no fumbling locating the correct battery or hesitation with installing it. I'm so glad I discovered this place! read more

They did a great job fixing my phone screen and it was really fast. Anyone who has ever felt that anxiety, dread, and grief of losing access to your phone will appreciate the speed and quality of this place. The guys who worked here also had a great sense of humor about it all. Much appreciate them! read more

Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable people working there. Prices are reasonable. Been shopping there for years.

They made a new Honda key & fob for $60. Note that Honda San Rafael quoted $280 for same thing! And I love the light up dog collars - those have been great while walking my dogs at night. Very friendly and helpful staff. read more

Amazing service. Super fast, great prices. Will absolutely be recommending. In and out in less than 4mins for a fob replacement.

please understand that these people are not professionals when it comes to motorcycle batteries and warranties. I purchased a battery that was well under warranty, but the confusion was First guy told me it was three years and then when I brought it in, they told me it's two years so I wasted a full trip to come down there, knowing that my battery was bad and it was previously manager at this location in is very rude and all they wanna do is sell you a battery. If you have a they do not want to help you. Please prices are also very high as opposed to Amazon or any online store and they're their service is not good. read more

Excellent , quick, professional car battery replacement. Highly recommended. Easy access . Took only a few minutes

Jeff Curtain, sales manager is a gem. I recently scheduled an appt. to have a new iPhone battery installed. The first appointment was cancelled by the office 1 hour before scheduled. At the next day's appt., I showed up and the technician was late, coming in 1 hour later. Jeff was very gracious, insisting he do this for me at no charge. I said it was not necessary but he insisted. He was so pleasant and wanted me to have a good customer experience. I came back later that afternoon and picked up my phone with a new battery and screen saver. Thank you! Sheldon read more

We love this place. They always have what you need in terms of bulbs. But most recently they repaired my son's gaming console which every other electronic repair place in town told us to just throw away and buy a new one. They were able to clean it and fix it up for a really affordable price! So grateful and so easy with good customer service always. read more

They were super helpful and kind. I purchased a car battery and he put it in for me in a timely manner.

Having driven (yes, bad) from Berkeley once before to buy an obscure battery quickly, I drove again this week to get a battery for two phones. All staff, Daniel in particular, were helpful, casual, friendly, and (maybe minus 1) didn't make me feel inept with my questions. Rarely reviewing anywhere, I owe for the service received here. Upon my phone call, they checked shelves for batteries I needed. Next, out of courtesy and curiosity, Daniel had opened my phone with his official training (phone manufacturer) to review the diagnosis I'd had from an East Bay fixer. He found that any diagnosis of the charging port couldn't have been completed as I'd been told, and he found damage inside the phone. He demonstrated skill with the interior that the first place hadn't inspired. He referred me to a high-skilled repair place in Santa Rosa (I'll mail this time) . On my first visit years ago, I learned of useful products that I didn't know existed. I noticed this time that all Staff appear to love fussing with electrical things. Hope you find similarly. read more

Needed some oddball batteries that we didn't carry where I work so I figured I'd try Batteries Plus... OK well I guess it's Batteries Plus Bulbs now. Asked for the specific battery I needed, left without looking too carefully, got where I was going, and realized it was the wrong one after opening the new package. Went back, they were very apologetic and gracious about exchanging the batteries for the correct ones even though I'd already destroyed the packaging. I was going to leave four stars since they did sell me the wrong ones the first time even though I was clear about what I needed but it's a simple mistake and we're all human and so five stars it is. I think that the price I paid was reasonable. Sure $7 more than Amazon for the same 12-pack of the oddball batteries I needed but it's a local store and I got instant gratification so I'm not complaining about that. Hopefully the batteries themselves with last a while, we shall see. read more

I'm so thrilled with the service I received. My son dropped his iPhone and a big white line was going through the screen. I walked in (with no appointment), and the staff helped me right away. They quoted me a price, had the screen in stock, and fixed it while I waited. I wasn't expecting such quick service, but they took great care of me and fixed the phone for a fraction of the cost to replace it. I will absolutely be recommending them to others in the future! read more

A huge thank you and shout out to Daniel and Erin at the 2064 4th Street San Rafael, CA location. Over the years I have always gone to BatteriesPlus for watch, phone and auto batteries so I was presently thrilled when Daniel and Erin helped me get my new Lexus key. Over the years I ended up with one precious key with a brain that started my car. Paranoid that I would loose it I tried the dealer and they were very expensive to say the least. I got a new key with it's brain from BatteriesPlus for more then half the price. Thank you! read more

After a zillion iterations of attempting to find Edison bulbs for our living and dining room that were neither amber (too dark for a primary light source) nor aggressively white (so much that our neighbors across the street asked if we repainted the room with a green/blue paint), I called Batteries Plus Bulbs. They immediately understood what I was looking for and ordered same day. The bulbs arrived just in time to cast the most perfect light in our house for our tiny COVID-era wedding at home and we couldn't have been happier. We'll be back for all of our lightbulb needs in the future. read more

William and Jeff provided great service repairing my malfunctioning key fobs as well as making new keys. Went above and beyond having to replace the key fob as well as re-coding all of the other fobs. For new keys and key fob batteries and repairs, they are the best! Thanks very much! read more

I wondered about this place, seeing the sign as I drive past in either direction. When I had a need for several (25+) cr2032 coin batteries, it struck me they may have a volume discount or some such here and yes they not only stock the batteries but sell them at the best price around. Same goes for the standard AA, AAA, etc batteries, and also Car Batteries and other larger size batteries. Also, they will re-program most car key fobs at a discount from car dealerships. read more

The worst. I set up the appointment online the day before and I phoned to double-check that the appointment time that I had selected would work. Everything was a go and I arranged my schedule around it. I got to the store and was told that the repair person (who is the owner) simply wanted to go home and decided to leave despite my appointment. At the very least they should have called me to cancel. They have lost a customer. read more

Bought an e-bike from my roommate. The battery needed to be replaced and was pretty much obsolete. I walked in on a Friday to see if they could source the battery, but was told it was pretty much going to be impossible. The sales person at the time advised I come back in when "Chuck" is around - he builds batteries. Well that's pretty much exactly what Chuck did for me - build a battery. We took the original battery housing and filled it with 6 x 6 volt batteries at 7.5 amps. It fit like a charm. I'm sure they would have wired it for me, but I did it myself since I had a reel of thick guage wire. The bike flies! Thanks Chuck! read more
