So here I was at home watching a show about dog sledding in Alaska on TV. Well my rottweiler also happened to be watching as well and she kinda thinks the TV is a magic portal. I was very fortunate to speak with Calvin, the best sales person I have ever encountered. He verified that the TV I had researched is indeed just the right one for me. His extensive knowledge of the TV and his honorable upstanding character shone through so that I felt completely comfortable ordering the TV over the phone sight unseen. It's been over 5 years since we purchased a new TV. If you're looking to purchase a new TV, look no further! Video Only has the most competitive deals even during Black Friday sales. They provide A+++ customer service, something we don't get much of these days. During my experience, they took the time to ask the right questions, guide me into the right direction, provide options and comparisons, give detailed information, answer questions, and time alone to think about my options. I did not feel I was brushed off or hounded to make a purchase. Prior to my experience at Video Only, my boyfriend and I were at Best Buy, making a Black Friday sale purchase on our phone, at the store. Yes, you read that right. We didn't make a purchase at the counter because the customer service was garbage. We bought a 2020 Samsung 75" 6 series for $550. The sales rep told us there was absolutely no difference in visual quality between the 6 series, 7 series, and 8000 series even though there was a couple hundred dollars in price difference. Then he disappeared and helped someone else. We made a purchase that was "good enough." We weren't quite content but again, it was good enough. After leaving, we saw Video Only right across the way. We figured we would stop in just to see what deals they had and if they were better than what we just got. We saw from outside that it was a ton of TVs lined up, which I appreciated because there wasn't a bunch of other stuff to distract us from what we were shopping for. When we walked in within their last hour of their business day, we were instantly greeted with smiles on their faces. I went straight to the back to look for the Samsungs, while my boyfriend answered questions that Ashan began asking him. He guided my boyfriend to the Samsung 75" TVs. I met them there and was able to hear all the knowledgeable information Aarish was telling us about each Samsung 75" TV in each series. There, I saw a clear difference in visual quality between each series. Some didn't have as much gamma color range as others, so visually, they appeared darker and less detailed. Having poor vision and being with a gamer, it was important for us to have something bright and detailed. (Side note: I loved how they also had the remotes out so you could play around with it and see how different each was). After Aarish gave us all the important information, he walked away to give us time to think. I loved this because I needed the time and space to look and compare each one visually, and discuss each one with my boyfriend. We immediately cancelled our Best Buy order because which ever TV we would have chosen at Video Only, would have been a much better deal that what we got at Best Buy. We ended up choosing a 2022 Samsung 75" QLED series that came with a solar and voice control remote (no more batteries!) It is infinitely better than the 2020 Samsung 75" 6 series we originally bought. We were still within our budget and walked away extremely happy with our purchase. At Best Buy, with their prices, we couldn't even look at the QLED series. The 6 series was good enough for our budget. In fact, it was way below our budget and we would have been willing to spend up to our budget if someone knowledgeable would have taken the time to help us like Aarish at Video Only. To top things off, because we aren't local, Aarish took the time to arrange a pick up day at a Video Only location that was only 5 minutes away from my house. We finalized our purchase just in time for closing. We did not feel rushed at all and ended up taking less time to decide and make our purchase than the time we spent at Best Buy. read more
