Wait, maybe I start with the unique and rare collection on their shelves, and how you know when you walk out their door you will be the only one in town wearing the specific style of glasses you purchased? Or how about I begin with the fact that once you are a customer...you are always a costumer? Frank (the owner) has literally come up to me on the Main Street and asked for my glasses and returned with them clean and perfectly fitted without me asking him to do so. He cares about his customers inside of his stores and outside of his stores!! Fun fact: not only does Frank support his customers in his stores and on the nearby sidewalk... he supports this ENTIRE community from the schools, to the fields to the dance floor! This is one local shop who constantly gives back to our community. I feel very grateful Frank and Wink are a part of our small town.

I went to Fleur (should have done this in the first place!) and she fitted me with perfect glasses. She and Yvette are consummate professionals, very sensitive to my prescription's quirks. The prices are more than the mall or a big box, but the service is so good, and the final product is precise and totally customized. Fleur has the very best in the latest technology for thinner, lighter lenses, a wonderful array of frames to choose from, and my vision was orders of magnitude sharper with her help, compared to the mall place. No contest! I will never go anywhere else for glasses, from now on.

WARNING- This store does not honor their own return policy…read more On July 8th, I attempted to return sunglasses I bought from sunglasses hut in Macy's. I bought the sunglasses on June 17. I had the original receipt which states a 30 day return policy. The 30 day return policy is also displayed in multiple places on the counter. The cashier refused the return. She claimed they now had a two week return policy, but was unable to show me any documentation of where this was stated. She later admitted that the return policy was 30 days but that I was close enough to the return date that she wasn't going to accept the return. 6/17-7/8 is 22 days. I'm still a bit shocked by this conversation, I was really discussing with another gainfully employed, articulate adult, the definition of the number 30. One of those "is this real?" moments. The cashier elaborated that she believed that she believed people wear the sunglasses and return them used and unsellable within the return policy window, insinuating that she believes that this is what I was doing. She did not look at the sunglasses I was attempting to return before making this statement. They were, in fact, unused. For this reason I believe she was discriminating based on my appearance. Regardless, even if people do wear the sunglasses and return them with the 30 day window, the company policy is to accept the return within 30 days, so this would be a moot point. I would just go there to try sunglasses on if absolutely necessary, but never purchase from them.
