I went to Fleur (should have done this in the first place!) and she fitted me with perfect glasses. She and Yvette are consummate professionals, very sensitive to my prescription's quirks. The prices are more than the mall or a big box, but the service is so good, and the final product is precise and totally customized. Fleur has the very best in the latest technology for thinner, lighter lenses, a wonderful array of frames to choose from, and my vision was orders of magnitude sharper with her help, compared to the mall place. WARNING- This store does not honor their own return policy…read more On July 8th, I attempted to return sunglasses I bought from sunglasses hut in Macy's. I bought the sunglasses on June 17. I had the original receipt which states a 30 day return policy. The 30 day return policy is also displayed in multiple places on the counter. The cashier refused the return. She claimed they now had a two week return policy, but was unable to show me any documentation of where this was stated. She later admitted that the return policy was 30 days but that I was close enough to the return date that she wasn't going to accept the return. 6/17-7/8 is 22 days. I'm still a bit shocked by this conversation, I was really discussing with another gainfully employed, articulate adult, the definition of the number 30. One of those "is this real?" moments. The cashier elaborated that she believed that she believed people wear the sunglasses and return them used and unsellable within the return policy window, insinuating that she believes that this is what I was doing. She did not look at the sunglasses I was attempting to return before making this statement. They were, in fact, unused. For this reason I believe she was discriminating based on my appearance. Regardless, even if people do wear the sunglasses and return them with the 30 day window, the company policy is to accept the return within 30 days, so this would be a moot point. I would just go there to try sunglasses on if absolutely necessary, but never purchase from them.

We brought a life jacket for our dog and was able to include him in the kayak for no extra cost! We are beginner kayakers so it took us a while to get used to paddling and directing the direction of the kayak. The kayaking route was decent and safe.
