DO NOT GO HERE!!! Salespeople will lie/misinform you just to close the sale. I switched a line over from a Verizon, and was promised a $800 gift card to cover my balance remaining with Verizon. Telling me I will receive it in the mail "very quick". I was never informed to upload documents online to verify my gift card. I had to call customer service just to find this out, and now finding out I have to wait almost 3 months to get this gift card. I left with them adding an incorrect email on file. Went back a week or so later, Just to catch attitude from the lady helping me telling me it's not possible to change emails... I also added home WiFi. The sales guy told me I'll be leaving with WiFi at the end of the day. Sounds awesome, right? Fast forward to the end of the transaction, I ask "so where's the WiFi box I need?" He tells me it'll come in the mail within 3-5 days...... Fast forward a couple days, I can't look up the tracking number, because they sent it to my email on file, the one that they incorrectly put down. After talking to customer service, they let me know my order was never placed at the time of me purchasing. I ended up with WiFi almost an entire week after purchasing it. My mother went to the store to bring a copy of a my father's death certificate and they didn't even take it and refused to give my mom his phone back, until a charge that should've been cleared with the death certificate, was paid for. If you're even remotely empathetic i hope you and your miserable attitude go no where in life, because that's the direction your PATHETIC actions say about you. "Ms. Manager of the year" Angel B. decided to hold my DEAD FATHERS PHONE HOSTAGE until my mom paid a $500 charge for a reason she herself did not get clarification for. She said if my mother didn't pay the charge she would DELETE EVERYTHING OFF HIS PHONE. All his selfies from his chemos, family photos throughout the years, messages, and little videos would've been gone because Ms. Angel B. Do not go to this store! They make changes to your account without your authorization. Yesi the so called manager deserves to get FIRED ASAP. She isn't even the one who made the changes to my account but when I went back to ask why they did what they did she was the rudest human I think I have ever dealt with, when she should have been the most professional in her position as a store manager. I will continue to escalate what they did illegally but she pretty much laughed in our face and asked us to leave. On 02/26/2025, I would like to lodge a complaint against a rude obnoxious male (Sikh) sales consultant who originally contacted me at the store located at 1460 Hulsey Way, Manteca, California. I wanted to return an AT&T accessory I purchased online for my new cellular phone. He informed me, he needed to talk to his manager to see if they could accept the return. When he returned, he said," No they could not accept the return item because it had been used." To contact AT&T customer service and see if they would issue me a refund. I then asked him could he show me their store policy where it states, they could not accept the return item. I also asked him for his name which he blurred out his first name, but I was unable understand how he pronounced it. So, I asked him could he write it down, so I could tell AT&T customer service verbatim what he said. At which time, he became belligerent, rude and obnoxious. He refused to write down his name and demanded I leave the store without being provoked. I then asked to speak to his manager and told him, I was not done conducting business inside the store; by showing him an item I had in my hand that I wanted to purchase for my cellular phone. There were other customers inside the store, and I felt embarrassed and humiliated. At which time, Sales Consultant Priscilla intervened and instructed her male counterpart to leave the sales floor, while she assisted me. Priscilla was very professional and showed empathy toward my situation. As I was trying to explain to her what had happened, I had to stop talking for a moment to try and calm my nerves which she understood. I was totally upset with her co-worker's rude unprofessional behavior. I strongly felt, he racially profiled me for whatever reason. He was very unprofessional toward me; he needs to receive sensitivity training and learn what customer service really means. Priscilla assisted me with my transaction and further clarified they do not have anything in writing in regard to the policy for my returned item but steered me in the right direction to get it resolved. First and foremost I want to thanks Manny for how extremely professional and kind he was to deal with over the phone, I thought it would be a major headache to switch from the previous TV service that I currently had and that I was comfortable with over to DIRECTV, Manny made it a real breeze and headache free by answering all my questions by being very courteous, professional, and kind over the phone, Manny got me scheduled with a technician that came out and got it all hooked up in a timely manner! I am so very happy now that I have DIRECTV and the NFL Sunday ticket I am a diehard Cleveland Browns fan and I know it's painful to watch that team lose every year but I'm grateful that I'm able to watch them get a possible win soon (fingers crossed) LOL Go Browns Baby!!!! Worst customer service came in for an order pick up and a screen protector / phone replacement case waited for about 30 minutes. The manager Shimon was just checking people in and told us to wait. There were 2 other sale people and after 30 minutes he told us he can help us. So we pretty much waited as he stood there for 30 minutes. Once he finally decided to help us he gave us the phone we ordered for curbside pickup and told us he would not switch out the phone case even though it's under warranty and we had the receipt because we purchased it from an AT&T store on Daniels and they're a third party. So we waited the entire time for him to just to tell us to go to the other store that it was purchased. Under the warranty it says you can go to any AT&T store to exchange it. read more

I upgraded my phone and Apple Watch using a couple promotional deals. One was buy a watch and get a $350 credit which I used to buy another watch for my wife. They explained that it will bill me but also provide a credit to make it free. The other deal was trading in my iPhone 11 for a 14 and get $800 turn in credit. ATT is really good at showing you immediately what they are going to bill you but you have to "trust" that the credits come as described verbally because it's no where in the contract terms that I can find. When pressing management n the issue of transparency, you get stone walled being told they cannot provide ANYTHING that's shows the promotional credits. Horrible way to do business. read more

Kind of late after my experience, but I had a great experience at this store when I took my new iPhone (which I'd ordered from Apple online) in to get help with transferring everything from my old iPhone. The Sales Manager worked with me and spent hours making sure everything transferred completely. He was such a friendly and great guy! We've always had a great experience here with no pressure at all to purchase anything. I only purchased what I requested to purchase. Thank you for the great experience! (I'd called the store on Daniels Street prior, and they transferred me to someone and got disconnected. I then called back and spoke to a person who hung up after I explained what I needed. 8 months later... I find more problems that resulted from my visit at the beginning of the year. During that visit the salesman offered to add a new line to my account free of charge as part of a promotion. I didn't need a new line so I refused his request at first but he persuaded me to take it since it was free. I gave in, thinking there's really no reason not to. Before I completed my visit he gave me a break down of what my payments would be like for the first few months and moving forward. The first few months would significantly higher since I purchased 3 new pieces of equipment and there were costs associated with that. After a few months passed and my payments finally settled at $300 up $100 from before my visit I decided to check my plan to see what was happening. There I find that the new line I added was not Free and I was being charged around $70 more per month. Obviously a mistake with an easy solution right? WRONG. The salesman not only lied about the line being free but for some unexplained reason he tied one of my upgrades to that new line making it impossible for me to remove the line without paying off the installment plan. I'm now in a cat and mouse game with ATT customer service a d this store. So far this store cannot offer me any fair solution other than paying off the device to remove the plan attached to it. If I can offer one piece of advice to anyone looking to shop at this store it would be to stay away. At least in my experience it seams that they will allow their sales team to make a sale by any means necessary. Including flat out lying with absolutely no consequences. read more

Went here to upgrade my phone, My boyfriend and I were helped by Robert. Don't go to him, very poor sales skills, poor customer service, poor communication. Basically, I feel like he use us to get his end of the month sales ratings up. He promised us a guaranteed price, asked him several times to clarify because I wanted to be sure we'd be paying the correct price. My husband and I came into this AT & Tlocation on 12/14/20 to purchase an iPhone 12. He gave the employee his name & number. He was called approximately 1 1/2 hrs later, but he was unable to answer right away, but since we were literally in the parking lot, he went straight to the store, which took less than A MINUTE. They refused to serve him since he didn't answer his phone "right away." We're talking A MINUTE here! After waiting over an hour (and being loyal customers for over 20 yrs) he definitely did not deserve this very poor "service ". It is inexcusable that they couldn't even wait a minute before they gave his spot to another customer! Lo and behold, there is a happy ending to this story. He went to the AT&T store in Tracy, where he was treated with respect and courtesy, he got great deals too! Thanks much, Cheyenne! She even gave him discounts for being a government employee! :-) Word to the wise-do not go to this manteca location, unless you want to be treated like crap, especially if you don't look "well to do". FYI my husband earns a great salary as an engineer. We really had excellent customer service at this store. I called ahead to see if they were busy, they had quite a few people in the store, but it did not take long for someone to say hi and for us to be helped. Everyone we enter acted with were friendly. I was impressed with the set-up for COVID with markers on the ground, plexiglass between the customer and service provider and sanitizer to use. But you could still see the electronics. The Manager was excellent-his customer service was great and he really cared about getting us the plan and the phones that were going to work for us the best . He spent a lot of time explaining different plans and options for phones to us. Cuttrently, there are some good deals going on. I would go back to this store-great and friendly customer service. I'm on a roll with great service today! Gosh, I wish it was this easy everyday. After giving AT&T's operator 30 minutes of my life last night, I was referred to a store. I've been experiencing crazy service lately, like 90% of my calls are dropped. Maybe I should take this as a sign to stop gabbing??!!? NO! LOL ... Anyhow, I asked a million questions last night. Does the device have any known issues? Are the towers being worked on? Is my service in a dead zone? I pretty much covered every base imaginable. I was told my sim card is old, and that I need to go into the store and get a new one. Fine. AT&T stores can be crazy busy, so I went in first thing this am. I was greeted and promptly helped by Daniel. He was an absolute doll. Totally friendly, answered all of my questions and even set my phone up with the new sim card and info. Also, he mentioned they're converting their towers to 3g from Turlock to Manteca. AAAAGGHHHH, I knew it was something so simple!! I went in to upgrade my sons iPhone and they deactivated my phone which I use for my business and wasn't able to get it deactivated until the next business day. Total crap if the rep would have listened to me as I told him 3 times which number was being upgraded! Staff needs training on ALL products available to better assist the consumer. This is the only AT&T my family and I have been going to ever since we got cellphones. Well they moved from the Food 4 Less area to here next to Mr. Pickles and In & Out which is way better because it looks a lot nicer over here and more people tend to come over in this area. Anyways, there's always issues with my parents about our phone bill so they tend to always come here and ask questions about that. There is a guy that we always go to and he kept telling me my parents are regulars over here which is pretty embarrassing. The guy even gave us a few tips on how to save on our phone bill. Anyways, the employees are very friendly and are always willing to help customers. Sometimes it can get busy at times usually during the weekends. If you wanna just come in and pay for your bill, there is a kiosk machine so you don't have to wait in line. read more
