Store closes at 8:00pm. Arrived at 7:15pm and asked if we could do a phone trade in. First of all, they said they couldn't do any kind of trade in with a damaged screen, not even a $1 for parts. Which is NOT what customer services told us over the phone the day prior. The three employees were unprofessional and plainly rude, and did not care about us or our business. Yes, it was later in the afternoon but there was not a single person in there when we walked in. When we walked in they were all siting at a table together, talking crap about another customer?? Immediately vibes were off and we were uncomfortable. We ended up leaving with nothing and going to the Apple Store where they actually cared about our situation and had amazing customer service. I initiated the process of switching to T-mobile over the phone through customer care. And although the rep was really friendly and emailed me the links that'll help me do the next steps, it was quite confusing. I decided to go to this location once I received the phone units. Tayler went above and beyond helping me activate and port our numbers from the previous provided. Even though he wouldn't get any commission since I've already made the switch over the phone, he did not hesitate to help us. He made sure I have all the info I needed to do the Keep and switch. I wasn't looking forward to this encounter. I've been with Sprint since 2000 and the merger with T-Mobile had great things in store and gave me some apprehension because of discussion I had with current T-Mobile customers. I waited outside the door, as requested, until Crystal invited me into the store. I told her that I was there to replace my SIM card from Sprint to T-Mobile. She offered me a seat 6 feet from hers, and she began to collect information. The co-worker got her a SIM card, and within about 35 minutes, everything had been finished. Each person who arrived was given a friendly greeting, and for me, service was quite good. We'll see how things work with T-Mobile, the company. read more

I will never ever order another phone with TMobile via UPS cause you'll never receive it. Theres something fishy going on with UPS/TMobile. I tracked my UPS pkg and it was on the truck one evening it went back to the Lathrop Hub (French Camp) but never delivered to me. Now it's still shows "on its way" status to me. I wouldn't hold my breath that it shows up suddenly. Tmobile is fully aware that pkgs are not delivered/missing so why do they still place new orders for iPhones??? Very Fishy and it stinks. Seems this process is still ongoing. Why?? Someone will get busted soon. It's very very very stressful for an elderly person with health issues that have to get their refund for the money T-Mobile collected for a product never received by the customer. Shameful. A complete waste of everyone's time. I researched this and found out this has been going on for several YEARS! I was able to cancel my order let's just see how long it takes to get my refund! There is no way anyone honest can give this place 5 stars. Every time I go in there the associates act like you are bothering them and are a huge inconvenience. If you are not of Hispanic descent you will be acknowledged when they feel like it despite you arriving first. This has happened on 2 separate occasions with 4 separate employees.They pick and chose who they help and when. On top of that they have no clue what they are doing and will each tell you something different that contradicts what the last employee told you. Back in October my daughter's phone which is about 2 years old stopped charging. We figured the charging port was worn out with wear and tear so we paid the deductible ($100) and the new phone arrived at my home within 2 days. Fast forward to 12-13-2023 and now the new 2-month-old phone is not charging despite her having an expensive protective case with a charging port dust cover and using mostly wireless charging. The employee sat us down and said it would be a "warranty return" and they charge a $5 "warranty fee" even though they gave us a defective phone. While processing that she asks, "So if you were to add another line to your account who would that be for?" Huh?!?!?!?! Who said anything about adding a new line and why would it be her business who it was for if I was to even entertain such a random weird question? Then her next question was if I want to upgrade to a different phone. I had to tell her at this rate I didn't want anything other than to switch service providers. So after she processes the return she said it will be there in 2 days. LIE#1. Here we are on 12-15-2023 and still no phone. They told me to contact 611 customer care to track the phone since they can't pull up my account over the phone yet she asked for my first and last name and mentioned it being a "warranty return" over the phone during this call. I only asked if the phone had arrived since it was 1 day past the ETA. So there is Lie #2 they can and will pull up your acct. Just called customer care and they said it will arrive next week! Then the guy told me , "Hey we did our part so call UPS and take it out on them." WTFFFFFFFF?!?!?! Is it taught in their initial training to be rude and dumb as fk? Is it a requirement to lie and be racist? So my daughter is just not going to have a phone for a whole week but they are still charging me for service she can't use because her phone won't charge. Then the tower was down all day yesterday so all day being charged for service we can't use on any of the phones. The towers go down once a month for 1-3 days and they will claim it's an upgrade, yet the towers go down regularly. What kind of "upgrade" is that. So, I decided Verizon is the way to go. Went to Verizon store yesterday and spoke with the nicest associate who explained everything in detail to make the transition smooth. Can't wait to go back over there and make the switch. This T-Mobile store is an absolute joke and full of liars and incompetent rude people who helped me decide after 22 years it's time to switch to a more reliable and respectful company. I do not like to give bad reviews BUT in this case it is needed, well sprint went tmobile in Manteca on Yosemite, I went in to do an upgrade and the girl "helping me" was nagging to i guess manager that she wanted to go home already and manager said No, that she had to help out 2 other customers 1st including myself. Her attitude was very poor being very rude, did not get anywhere with her, the phone i wanted was back ordered and overall the employees need more experience on how to treat customers and knowledge, i hope they really improve on this. Bought new iPhone 13 from T-Mobile . Replaced my iPhone 6. Not having bought a new phone in six years, I wasn't comfortable or understand some of procedures to transfer information from old iPhone to new one. Rep from T-Mobile volunteered to do it for both phones we bought. The rep was good at transferring old data to new phones, and took about one hour for each phone. I was thankful he assisted us. Even at the start, I was confused about the E SIM card that came with iPhones. That issue came up for next three days. When I tried to call my contacts or message them, I kept getting "call failed" errors. Wife's phone worked okey. But my phone did not work, even when she called me. Extreme frustration. Called store back on 3rd day, and store rep said to come in, and he would check it out. When we returned, and I explained the call failures, he said he would put in a new physical SIM card. After activation, the calls and messaging worked perfectly. Less than five minutes to correct. Okey! Days later, I received an Apple survey about my purchasing experience. And would take about fifteen minutes to answer. I'll skip all the usual questions, except for the one after eight minutes of replying. There was that question about your experience with the E SIM card!. One of the choices to my surprise was " ESIM card failure", when activated. It seems that Apple knew there was an issue with the E SIM card. If I had an emergency, and was not able to use my phone in those three days, some serious issues could have occurred. When I had the E card activated, the store rep did call my number, and my phone did ring. Why it failed after I tried to call out later is disappointing. read more
