I visited this AT&T location to upgrade my phone. There was one woman and one gentleman working; I believe the gentleman's name was Rowan. From the start, his demeanor was unwelcoming and rude, despite us being nothing but polite and respectful. He spoke to us dismissively, grabbed the phone abruptly, and made comments that felt unnecessarily harsh. At one point, he referred to my phone as "filthy" and criticized its cleanliness, which was inappropriate and uncomfortable. The overall interaction felt hostile and, frankly, came across as discriminatory in tone. We should have left, but this was the only location that had the device we needed. Throughout the visit, he aggressively pushed upgrades, which we clearly declined. Despite this, we later discovered that monthly upgrade charges had been added to our account without our authorization. Months later, we are still dealing with the fallout and trying to correct his mistakes. What should have been a simple phone upgrade has turned into an ongoing and exhausting issue involving repeated calls, corrections, and wasted time. Between the behavior in-store and the prolonged hassle of undoing changes we never approved, this experience has been extremely upsetting. It disrupted our entire family plan and has genuinely made us consider switching all of our lines away from AT&T. This was not a minor inconvenience--it has been a persistent problem caused by poor service and unauthorized account changes. read more

I was the only person in the store when I went in for the new iPhone 17 pro. Rome was sitting at one of the tables and couldn't bother to get up or say hello. I told him what phone I wanted and the first thing he did was walk me over to the accessories before he even started my phone purchase and switching it over. He was extremely rude and abrupt. I told him I did not want the early upgrade plan for $10 a month or the insurance for $29. I know because he specifically brought up me needing it because of the crack in my screen. I told him I wanted no changes to what I already had. Today I called ATT and found out that he added both of those to my account anyway. He then dropped me for a man that walked in. Luckily another staff member came out and helped me through the process of switching over. Rome gave me no direction on how to turn in my trade in. When I asked him about the wall charger for the new phone he then snapped at me and said "that's what I was trying to explain to you before". He was put out that he had to ring me up for a wall charger. When I left, he didn't even say thank you or goodbye or anything. Rome needs to find a new line of work. read more

Was promised a rate I never got. Two years later customer service calls to apologize, but can't resolve the doubling of charges over that time. Be very careful of what they say they will charge you monthly. Mine was $144 and I have been held hostage and paid $330 a month for two years. Criminal. read more

I Visited your store on March 18 2025 @ 10:00am and there was a Gentleman and Lady working. I came in to have them assist me with my phone case. So the gentleman helped me and he was so rude. He put my case on my phone he didn't wipe my phone down before putting my case on in fact he told me my phone was dirty and I needed to go Nextdoor to clean it. My battery on my phone went dead after my car charger completely stopped working, so I stopped here to purchase a new car charger. These ladies were attentive very professional and polite! The store also has a charging area located at high tables, that you're able to sit at, while charging your phone which helped as well. I recommend stopping here for your next purchase As always, there plenty of free parking. There's also lots of restaurants and shopping in the same strip mall. read more

I wish I would have seen these reviews before I foolishly bought my iPhone from here. I've always bought from Apple. I was lied to and rushed. After being an ATT customer since 2008. Stay away. Don't do it. This place needs to brush up on training and customer service. The gal here who I believe runs the place is a great sales girl. Wouldn't even know she's selling you, but lies. Straight lies to your face. And if she wasn't lying she was unaware of true delivery times and not knowing and telling your customers something in my opinion is just as bad as lying. I went to visit this location on 04/12/25 and had a terrible experience. Horrible customer service and wish I would have read the reviews so I wouldn't have wasted my time. Guy that was working that morning was just trying to change my plan even though I had told him several times that I'm just trying to upgrade my prepaid phone. He kept insisting that going on a regular plan that wasn't prepaid was my only option and kept mentioning a plan that only that location could offer and no AT&T location could offer. I went down the street to the AT&T store on Gilbert Rd & Ocotillo Rd and it was like night and day. The young redhead gentleman was very professional and even told me to go to Walmart or Target for prepaid phones...which I did and got one for very cheap. I would give this place a zero. I was duped by these people because they flat out lied about cost and charges until after the deal was done. I received my phones (didn't have them on hand) and found out from the 800 customer service line that what I thght I signed up for was not at all possible. The monthly fee would have been way more than was promised. I immediately cancelled and took forever to get return labels. Even when phones received it still took two callls to get them refunded. Here come hundreds of dollars of fees, for all sorts of things. Phones never used and can not show any use but got charged all sorts of "usage" fees. Their customer service area is a complete joke. Do not walk.. RUN away from AT&T, they have zero customer service people who aren't rude and ready to end the call the second they can't push you off onto someone else. They literally blame their system but have no problem sending bills or adding more charges. read more

We went into the store to get my wife a new phone. The rep (Nicole) or store manager at the store said we should open a new account given my wife's a nurse. She said it would be easier and cheaper. Since then it has been miserable. We were charged $1200 because she switched our account from unlimited to pay as we use date, we have been charged for both lines now on both accounts and we are hours extra in just trying to get it resolved. I do not trust her in the slightest. Her follow through has been non existent. If we knew this could be the outcome, we would have never taken her advice. From my perspective, she wanted a quick deal and it has been miserable ever since and now we're just trying to get our money back. read more

Came in today to get new phones. Brandon was great explaining everything from the get go. His numbers were a little off but nothing that could be worked out. It's hard to go into a cellphone company and get a good service these days. You never know if you get a person to help you who's not too familiar with plans/service or the phones. But Brandon knew what he was talking about and was very helpful. Taking one star off for having difficulty transferring numbers to the new phones. I was told it would be a piece of cake porting the new numbers but after 2 visits to the local authorized at&t store, issues still have yet to be resolved. read more

I entered this store with the intent of upgrading my wife's phone. We were not acknowledged by the employee, who was talking with another customer at the time. While trying to respect her and the other customers' time, we were repeatedly ignored by her, even when she had multiple opportunities to check in with us. She just sat there without offering any assistance to us. When another customer decided to come in and wait, she acknowledged that we were also waiting in front of him. While all of us were waiting, we made a point to tell her what phone model we were interested in purchasing today, and she said they had it in the back. Knowing it was in stock, we decided to wait. However, when it was our turn to be helped, she decided to help him instead. Due to the level of service received from Nicole, I left that store and will not use or recommend them to anyone ever again. I went to another AT&T store and was immediately acknowledged and had my phone upgrade and accessories purchased in less than 20 minutes. Avoid this location if you can! Absolutely the worst customer service I've ever received at an AT&T store. The man with red-ish blonde hair lacks customer service. He was rude and disrespectful from the moment I entered the store. I walked in with my two daughters and it was instant attitude. He never greeted us. So I approached asking if I could be put into a que. He doesn't make eye contact and tells me hold on. So I begin to wonder around the store waiting. I touched a display phone and the alarm begins blaring. My 3 year old begins crying because the beeping noise is so loud. He doesn't even move or say anything about the beeping. I asked him if he could turn it off as if is only able to be disabled by an employee and my three year old is obviously unhappy by the loud blaring noise. He says nothing and I wait. Finally when it was my turn he rolled his eyes as I approached. I gave him my number but I was there for my daughters phone. He asked me her number so I look it up on my phone, as I'm looking up the number he walks off to greet and talk with another customer. He said nothing to me as I stood there ready to give him the number. I waited like 3-5 minutes and asked if he was the only person working because his customer service sucks and if he is the only person there I want his name to report him to his boss. He tells me to leave the store leaving both customers and walks to the back saying nothing to the customer he left. So unprofessional and sickening that classless and rude people hold jobs working with paying customers. I hope AT&T can find better employees in the future and train them on customer service. read more

I have been going to this store for 4 years since switching to AT&T. The new management and employees are very helpful. Went in to take care of some billing issues regarding some free phone credits that had stopped on my bill. Michael was very helpful regarding my issues and understanding. Unfortunately, the call center did not want to be as cooperative as the staff was trying to. It was quite a lengthy process so I elected to pay the phone off myself and jump ship. In steps Jonathan the manager who was attentive in the issues that We stumbled upon. He made some calls to his region manager and resolved the issues in house and bypassed the call center. Jonathan resolved my issue promptly and exhibited awesome, stellar customer service. read more

I also wanted to upgrade a phone (per in-store advertisement), the female rep told me our phones were not eligible. I showed her the AT&T webpage showing it was. She said she couldn't do anything - she was terse and rude. I went home and upgraded two phones via the web. Of course they were eligible, just as the website said. Terrible. The staff at this store have been nice, though not able to help me. I have had to go here a couple of times to try to fix the disaster that has been my AT&T experience. The reason for the one star review is AT&T itself is horrible. 1. I ordered a tablet online. I discovered that I couldn't use it as a phone. I went to the store to return it and found I had to ship it back to AT&T. 2. I ordered a cell phone to replace the tablet. The phone arrived but the number I had did not port over properly. After about 6 hours on the phone and another trip to the store, I gave up and was given a new sim and new phone number. Now, though, there were three lines assigned to my account. 3. I get the other two numbers removed, finally, and am down to the one new phone number. I pay my bill of $90 and change for the first month plus activation. 4. A couple of weeks later, I get a notice that my line was disconnected as per my request. Nobody knew why it was disconnected. No one could explain what happened. I spend another half day on the phone getting the number reactivated. I think everything is finally OK. 5. Today I wake up to find I was charged for 2 more activation fees, a partial month for the number that didn't port, a fee for having three devices (I only have one), and a whole bunch of other stuff. My bill was supposed to be about $60, but was instead $197. I cannot deal with being on the phone anymore with these people. All total, to get my phone working, I have spent approximately 15 hours on the phone and have had to tell the same story to scores of people. They also have a tendency to send you back to the front of the line when on hold and make you go through the same story multiple times each call. I was so tired of dealing with AT&T I wanted to return the phone and cancel the service, but I couldn't because I had the phone for over 14 days. I would go the store for help, but they are limited in what they can do and would wind up having my call the "customer service" number again. read more

I just have to say what a great experience I just had at this store. In May my family made the mistake of switching from ATT to Sprint and I had to come to this store to pay my final bill. Rudy and Felipe and another manager were so helpful in resolving my issue. My whole family truly regrets leaving ATT for Sprint. Sprint has the absolute worst service for wireless! read more

A very nice employee was helping me and my family here and we were having a great time until the manager Earl walked over and told his employee to "do his job and help someone else" while we waited for customer service to fix something with our account. Then he proceeded to take his employee to the back and grill him with the door open so everyone in the store could see. Then his employee walks out very upset. I feel that this was a seriously inappropriate on his part and NO employee deserves to be treated this way when he was doing customer service like his employee is supposed to do. Stay out of AT&T stores...they will never get another penny from me. Worst customers service ever & doesn't matter whether its San Tan or Gilbert Rd locations. Loyalty no longer matters @ this company. The manager Luianne stayed in the back room instead of helping customers & kept telling the sales person to run numerous test on the phone as they didn't want me to return it. They obviously don't trust their own Support Techs. I brought my phone back due to a bad speaker on LG x venture per the at&t online tech support. I couldn't hear him when trying to transfer data from previous phone. the store manager wouldn't let me exchange out my phone unless I paid a $45 restocking fee. This isn't just about the money but the fact that I was lied to & given the runaround.I have been a loyal customer since July 2002 & always paid my bill. We came into this store twice in November, first to discuss our options and pricing and then two days later, to combine cell phone plans with my Dad and us, and cancelled my Mom's line since she passed away. The person who helped us was Chris who was nice but unorganized, and did not do a good job! He did not cancel the phone line properly and my Dad kept getting charged for a his wife's phone line. We came back in to complain and the store reps were not able to help us cancelled at all! Had to call in and after 1 hour we finally were able to cancel a phone line! It was ridiculous because that line was not under contract with a paid off phone and they still refused to cancel. I repeat, do NOT work with the sales rep CHRIS! Shady and sloppy work! read more

ATT can not provide customer service. I stopped at the store and they say call Customer Service. My uncle passed away and I have spent over an 2hours talking to customer so called service people promising a refund then hearing that no refund can be provided by another. Then instead of sending the refund to the card on the account the supervisor hangs up on me. Sad how ATT the worlds best phone company, has sunk to this level of no service. Love AT&T but hate this store. This is the worst store for customer service. Did not help work through a very costly problem. On top of it was incredibly condescending! Sent us out with a phone that wasn't working because of lack of Internet network to actually load operating systems on their own products. So disappointed! I'm not usually one to leave reviews. When I do take the time to, it's really really good, or really really bad. Unfortunately, this time, it's really REALLY BAD!!! I received the absolute worst service today from Jonathan, who is supposedly the manager. I went in, ready to purchase an Apple Watch, he told me he was checking me in "mentally" not in the system (first mistake), he did answer some basic questions that I had, ie, do you have the watch that I want, what's the price per month, etc. He then proceeded to tell me to hold on, checked in two other people, helped them, and just left me standing there. After standing there in shock for about 15 mins, I just walked out. I will never be returning to this AT&T store, and better yet, I will likely be switching service to another carrier.
