Maybe, if you're working with Travvon, this store isn't so bad. But, if you're working with Eric? Might as well go to another phone company. I have my brother-in-law on my family plan. Just for background, he's a super-respectful and courteous kid who has recently decided to upgrade his phone. My plan was just to go so that I could be with him if he had any questions or needed help. I rarely ever need to step in during times like that. The store was empty when we walked in at 3:00 PM. While you read this, understand that I mean it was completely empty: zero customers OR staff. We waited a minute before we, unfortunately, met Eric. At this point, I'd like to take a second to address Eric, in case he reads this: Hey man, what the hell do they got you doing in that back room that has you coming to the front like you were just tasked with running a marathon to get to the front area? For a store with no customers, Eric sure seemed exhausted from every single action: looking up our account, figuring out what the cost of the upgrade would be, discussing what we would get for our turn-in, etc. He was apparently too exhausted to treat my wife, my brother-in-law, or myself with any respect or common courtesy. How is spitting out two-to-three sentences enough work to break your spirit and need to take a mental break? My brother-in-law decided on his new phone and Eric went to the back to the arena to get the new phone. He came back, took the payment for the taxes, and sent us on our way. Except, the phone wasn't set up, and my brother-in-law needed help setting it up. We went back in and met Travvon (I might be spelling his name wrong) and got the help/customer service experience we were looking to get. He was great, offering help and conversation making us feel more at ease. I'm not saying don't go to this store. I'm just saying that it's worth it, if you go, to treat your time as if it's irreplaceable and valuable, so much so that you won't waste it with Eric. read more

Jesus helped us port over a number to an existing line. Then he helped us set up service on another phone. Super easy and quick! The service at this store is ALWAYS excellent! read more

marvin is an outstanding sales representative and meets all the qualified requirements when it comes to AT&T he clearly explains everything to you before he starts a transaction. He never rips anyone off if anything he keeps it real at 100% standard. We came in for the iphone 14 no trade in requirement and opened 7 business lines with him. Our bill came to the exact numbers that he was talking about. He showed us an amazing selection of products and is a great value for the company. marvin deserves to be promoted and works very hard to help others out. he can assist 3 customers at once and provide the best service. thanks again marvin, Abdullah Abdulrahman read more

I originally came in to upgrade to Firstnet and while being assisted by the manager, Eliazar Ramirez (Ej), he informed me of a promotion for a free Apple Watch SE or a $300 credit towards an Apple Watch Ultra with service. What he failed to inform me of though was that the promotion was no longer available as of 2 months ago in California . About 3 weeks later and too many phone calls with ATT customer service, I was finally able to cancel the installment plan for a full price Apple Watch Ultra I did not even receive. Bottom line, the associates were friendly but unknowledgeable. read more

Mike was very veryyyy helpful!! It was a late Friday night and he was still determined to finish our account... the system was not cooperating with him but he was not about to give up. He's a great employee and I believe he deserves a raise. Thank you Mike! read more

If I could use urban dictionary to describe MARVIN this post wouldnt be here. Marvin lied. Dont TRUST MARVIN. I called AT&T and they already made a report against MARVIN. MARVIN told me I needed to pay for next up, insurance, premium, and to listen to him. He also tried to scam me by saying I needed to cancel the number in two weeks but the lady on the phone from AT&T said 3 days. He attempted (but failed) to make me pay for two lines for the next 3 months when I was trying to only purchase one line. MARVIN also claimed that he had microphones and everything is recorded and I just wanted to laugh because MARVIN lied on these "recordings". I hope MARVIN learns that he shouldnt lie. But went to another store and my phone was cheaper, faster than MARVINS customer service, and didnt have to be lied to. If you want a phone dont look for MARVIN. read more

Staff tries to be helpful but AT&T has the worst services and a complete rip off. Was tired of calling them often due to constant issues but still paying outrageously high bills.. Cancelled all my services with AT&T!!! read more

They refuse to acknowledge the fact that I have an open ticket for a lost in transit or stolen merchandise. They won't replace the merchandise or give me my money back it's been 30 days every time I come into the store or make a call to customer service they run me in circles for 2 hours minimum. They've lied to me numerous times PLEASE DO NOT DEAL WITH ATT !!! They are a complete joke and a waste of time and the service isn't really that good. The manager Alexis keeps telling me there is nothing she can do each time she dissapears into the back all secretive. John Goro the "corporate guy" is on some BS I've given them the the case ID from 30 days ago, they have given me 3 different resolution date. I'm pretty angry and trying to control my temper but I do t like being screwed at least but me dinner first read more

Don't buy a phone from that store!!! No wait in the store ( I wonder way...) I spoke to George (who claim to be the manager)... (All I needed help with was trying to get all my texts on my new phone with AT& T) George who claims to be manager was so unprofessional. He did not listen to me he over talk to me and he interrupted me. He was getting extremely angry at me. He told me I wasn't listening.... Keep in mind all I was not getting all my texts. I tried to show him on my old phone I tried to explain to him I tried ... He got so angry at me after interrupting getting loud and he told me he wasn't going to help me. You didn't even look at my phone in the settings... So we both sat there and somewhat silence for a few seconds.... I was trying to figure out what kind of obnoxious pig would gice this kind of service. He's downright mean rude and inconsiderate. He even told me to go to Santee corporate office that he was only there to sell phones. He said it wasn't his job to help or give any customer service. I told him when I left the store I was going to write a Yelp review and he said he didn't care... (FYI...my father also went into the store and also spoke to George... he said he was rude and end up walking out of the store) That's the so-called manager at AT&t in the mall called George. I went to Best Buy in the same parking lot and spoke to Jared and some other nice gentleman both were willing to help me and set my phone account up to Google. Now my phone works perfectly now I will write a great review for Best Buy. read more

My wife went there earlier today and could not get help from a customer claiming to be the store manager. She was very rude to my wife and told her to have me add my wife as an authorized user. I went to another Att store to get this done and they told me that my wife was already an authorized user. My recommendation, go to an AT&T corporate store. Way more helpful and they have their shit together unlike this "authorized retailer" read more

Needed to get service for me and my family and Ravyn and Rondell did an EXCELLENT job in servicing us!!! She went above and beyond to help us in what we needed. I can't even explain how much she did what she could and we really appreciate it! Will definitely be returning to Ravyn if there should be anything we need! Thank you so much! read more

Ravyn was very sweet and patience in helping my family and me! I enjoyed her company and her overall knowledge. She assisted with helping us all get the Same phone number with only a digit off each line. I would recommend her to everyone! Go see her! read more

Raven and Rondell helped me get the phone I wanted with the plan that was right for me. Customer service was exceptional!

Went into this store today after the horrible time I endured at another location in the area and felt delighted with fresh air as soon as I walked into the store! I was greeted politely by Kaiyah as she introduced herself and helped me get a new phone. I am astounded by the service at this location! read more

I bought a phone here from a girl named Raven and her manager Danny they represented me with a new line and new plan which took away all the benefits and added more money to my bill then I already had I'm not happy I'm at the AT&T to store . I'm here again on my day off trying to straighten it out. Horrible representation I feel swindled and I feel lied to. They did all this to sell me a extra line so they would get credit for it and send me a phone which I was already going to buy I really feel like I got burned. I'm not happy with the manager of the store. Try to find out who the district manager was found out he was the district as well so I have nowhere to go with my complaint read more

I went in to get my discount and a new phone, there was no wait which was nice but apparently no one knew what they were doing and I was in there for an hour and half!!! And with a toddler it was terrible!!! read more

Wow seriously sitting here watching other people deal with trying to get their phones transfered is beyond stupid. I think both reps don't know what they are doing. The girl helping us is having a struggle with the over the phone customer service makes me feel bad. But Audry is also showing an attitude weather to make us feel she relates with us. The other one just doesn't seem to know anything , seems to lack the confidence if she does know. After my time here I cpuld never swtich to At&t read more

Stopped in to upgrade. Staff Shala and Cody were helpful. I was in and out with a new phone. They even offer me water, which other retailers will offer that? Thanks. read more

I could not give these guys a 0 or I would. This is probably the grimiest store I have ever gone in, in terms of customer service and honesty. Do not go here, the heavier set salesman is misleading and un honest and the manager supports this style of selling. I have tried to get a hold of upper management for over 4 months and they refuse to get anyone in contact. It is absolutely ridiculous and to be honest att should investigate the store as they are being fraudulent on how they set up accounts and take care of their guest. There are plenty of other att stores to try where you will get treated 100 times better and not cheated read more

Went to AT&T store today, I needed to upgrade my Plan and also switch from an individual plan to a family plan, Raven generously handled the transfer, made a new phone number, and helped me buy a new phone. She was very courteous, friendly, and a sociable person, I didn't notice the time it took for the phone to download all the newest settings! I will definitely bring my friend and family to this location. If you can get Raven you're in great hands! read more

The staff at this location are always super helpful and knowledgeable. I tried dealing with AT&T customer service over the phone, but their phone reps always seem to be extremely incompetent no matter how many of them you talk to. Thankfully, I walked into this location and Gerard was able to resolve the situation for me in no time. If it wasn't for the staff at this store I would have found another mobile service provider! Thanks Gerard! read more

I have an android and my kids have I-phones. I am completely in the dark on how to use them. My daughter locked herself out of her phone and we spent several hours at the store while Joey and John worked on it for us. They were super nice and helpful, totally went the extra mile! If their boss reads this review, I think they deserve a raise! Thanks again. We will be going to Pkwy Plaza in the future. read more

This place is def sub par. The customer service was poor. It's like they didn't want to be there. The WiFi there is horrible. I recommend going to another spot for service. read more

To start off my day, my phone broke, apparently it was a system issue and Apple wasn't going to be able to cover it due to being an iPhone 7 Plus and the warranty had expired. I was really looking to see if I could upgrade, Ive had soo many problems every time I upgrade and I hate it. However, Rayvn attended me and was able to get me into a new iPhone with out any problem. She was really on it, she answered every question I had and if she didn't know the answer she went ahead and called just to make sure. She was very direct with great customer service. Thanks Ravyn. read more

Stopped by for an upgrade and Shala was extremely helpful. However, she was stock on the transaction and her manager didn't have any sense of urgency to help her. It was dragging and rude. My first transaction had to be canceled because of miscommunication between Shala and the manager. But besides that Shala was beyond carrying in regards my issues. If you want quick help don't bother to come here. read more

AT&T Store - Mobile Phones Near Me - El Cajon, California

i went to this location of getting some help with my tablet. i was met by a young man by the name of alvin fernandez, not sure if that name is correct as the handwriting is sloppy on the business card. worst customer service i have ever his attitude and willingness to help is typical of att. which is why i do not like having service with them, but i am forced as they purchased directv. the only reason this post is getting three stars is because the manager joel garcia turned the experience around and provided me the information needed. which was a simple fix so if you have att and need help go see joel garcia at store in parkway plaza in el cajon. we will do his best to help or get you a answer to your request. thanks joel for the good customer service. read more

Came in with a sim card issue. Gabriel was super patient with us as we updated our note 3 to a pixel 2.

Called a few different AT&T stores for the Apple Watch. None of them had the one I was looking for in stock. I called this location and spoke with Anthony. He unfortunately advised he didn't have it either, however, told me to call back in 20 to see if he could pull one from another location. Called back and sure enough, he hooked it up and was able to go to the store and purchase the watch. read more

I was in the area and came in to see if I had upgrades available. We were immediately greeted by an employee, Chase. Chase was super informative and definitely a people person. Let me go ahead & rewrite this review. Apparently my review was deleted due to it "falling out of Yelp content guidelines" & lack of "not providing enough detail about my customer service". So rewriting about this place is well worth another 5 minutes of my time. We came here on 2/14/16. Yes Valentine's Day. Decided to get each other some phones before we head out to get ready for dinner. Mind you, it was like a little after noon when we went in. We didn't leave till almost 6ish. The sole reason for that is, how incompetent our customer rep was and probably still is. I cannot remember her name but she was a young, Caucasian woman with mostly shaved hair with tattoos and piercings. We were trying to be very understanding and waited patiently until we couldn't anymore. She seemed really nice but a little distracted because she just talked about her & her gf had broken up. She kept making excuses as to why she couldn't port over our phones so that we could get the promotion and deals for signing up as new customers. She had to keep calling different people to assist her in what seemed to be the impossible. I'm not sure if this makes things worse, she was a manager. End of it all, we walked out with only one phone after 5 hours and all she could say was sorry & that she would call me when she was able to get the other # ported. Which she NEVER did. The next day, we went to ATT at grossmont. We had the manager at the store and he was FAN-EFFING-TASTIC. PROFESSIONAL, knew what he was doing & got us out of there with everything we ever wanted plus more in less than 2. It probably could've been hour but he spent the first hour just trying to undo the crap she did to our account. read more

I came to this location recently to get an upgrade. I wasnt quite sure what I wanted to upgrade to but thankfully the manager savanna was in to help. She told me the functions of several different phones and out up with my indecisiveness for over an hour. The actual upgrade was quick and she was super friendly the whole time, you can really tell she loves her job and knows how to take care of a customer. Ill be coming back to her soecifically for all of my needs in the futire, thank you savanna!! read more

My favorite AT&T location! Savanna made me want to work with her for this company soooo bad=]

I would just like to say that I called this retailer today and spoke with Tanis about a concern I had with my computer modem. Tanis explained a great deal to me and that was very helpful as I had talked with two other customer service reps on the customer service line and they weren't able to answer all my questions although they were very polite. Tanis explained that he had taken classes to understand the phone systems better thus able to help me to understand why I was having issues. I so appreciate the time and effort he made to explain the details to me. Thank you again for great customer service support! read more

Alexis was great to work with, super nice and we had great service. She even put me in the right direction to get a business plan which will give me a discount! read more

The customer service was great! Jasmine was very helpful and asked all the right questions to find exactly what I was looking for. The 5 stars are for her :) however, I was a bit disappointed that I had to leave with all my products that I purchased and no bag to carry everything with. You would think they would be more prepared around Christmas time read more

So went in here to get my numbers switched over from cricket and add the new unlimited plan and a hotspot, I had to port 2 numbers (and the dude in charge tried to tell me att didn't even have hotspots, learn your products from the whole company dude) Well Chase went ahead and moved my numbers and canceled my cricket account and then was like oh yea you need to go to cricket to unlock the phone. Cricket takes 2 days to do this just FYI which is bogus since AT&T owns them but whatever. Also couldn't get the hotspot here that's only at "corporate stores" and he didn't even bother telling me that until my numbers were ported. Now, 2 days later my Phones are unlocked and I put them SIM card in just as the dude said expecting the phone to work. It didn't. Call at&t and now they are saying my account is a pre-paid plan?!?! Are you serious, oh and the SIM card isn't my number it's a San Diego number all of a sudden. So now I have a hotspot that I'm not sure where the bill for that is going and an account I can't even get into because it isn't even showing up under my email address when I tried to reset my passwords and login there is nothing there. Fan. Freakin. Tastic. Do the people at the non-corporate stores even get training or just a tshirt and an iPad? Absolute nonsense. Dont go to this store call and find a corporate store since those are apparently the only ones that can do anything you might actually need and do it correctly. read more
