Astera quickly responded with a quote and availability via the Yelp app. They were able to come out to diagnose the problem in less than 2 hours from initial contact. A repair part was needed, which the technician, Val, returned with and installed the next day. Val was very knowledgeable, efficient, polite, and tidy. He even took the time to diagnose a separate issue with my stove. I also had follow up questions that I texted to Valentina in the office, and she responded quickly and thoroughly. A-Tech is my go to for all my appliance repairs. I spilled sugar water down the front of my stove that seeped down through the glass panels. I thought I would have to at least replace the glass if not the oven door. A-Tech was first to respond to my service request. They showed up on time and assessed the problem immediately. The tech simply removed the door and glass panels so that I could clean up the mess. He said he would come back later that same day and put things back together and just like that he was back to finish the job. The problem was a noisy, clanking dryer. It WORKED, but was noisy. So we contacted A-Tech. The technician came out and replaced rollers in the dryer. Afterwards, it no longer heated or dried. I reached back out immediately and the technicians were "on vacation". When we finally got him back out a week later he said it was just due to the cold. The dryer still doesn't work. I've contacted again about coming out and they said it's unrelated to the repair and they're increasing their diagnostics fee to review the issue further. I would highly recommend staying away from this A-TECH. read more

I am so very happy I found this company. During the diagnostic period of two weeks a technician came twice to fix my dishwasher. What was done didn't fix the problem. A new part was found, the same tech returned, installed it and it was fixed. The original fee was deducted from the repair. I thought the cost very reasonable, the service very prompt. One day our dryer stopped working, and smoke smell were coming out from the dryer. I were frustrating, check the dryer duct, cleaned it, but this did not help (of course), after some frustrating thoughts from what to do next, and probably I would need to buy new dryer, I decided to look up for the professional service, who can come up and tell me at least what's wrong and what my further steps would be. So I went through the Yelp list, and the A-tech page feels for me more trusted and professional. And Ta-dam, my intuition never lie to me. We called them evening Monday (after Christmas Day), they came next day. Very clean,polite and respectful. The motor was dead suddenly, and we decided to replace it. Need to change my previous review. The issue came back for which they charged me the full amount. The work lasted a few months and now they want to charge me again and saying they only give 30 days warranty. The weather was warm and didn't use the heater regularly but now that it's cold and turned on the heat, same exact issue was there. I am going to contact another heating company to do the work. I highly suggest you guys don't work with this company since they provide a temporary fix and not a long term solution. Very disappointed. read more
