Tried to tune the furnace anyway to accommodate it, which was actually kind of fun to watch all the different ways it could be done. No other HVAC technician I've ever worked with before has done that. A/C maintenance went great too. First company I've ever hired that didn't try to sell me an entirely new unit just due to a faulty capacitor. Even gave me the model number of the capacitor to replace if I want to save money and do it myself (I'm reasonably handy so it's something I'd probably do). I had an extremely disappointing experience with this heating and cooling company, mainly because of Ebony's terrible customer service. When I called to request a technician for my grandmother's cooling problem, Ebony answered in a scripted , unhelpful tone that made it seem like she was having a bad day and taking it out on me. She was dismissive and lacked any genuine concern, which was very rude considering I was just trying to get help for my grandmother. I didn't mind waiting or the pricing, but her attitude was unacceptable and unprofessional. Service was great- the repairmen who came to fix my system were extremely polite, friendly and thorough. They were able to come to my place quickly and fetched spare parts from the suburbs to bring to my place combatting rush hour traffic and Cubs game traffic. The price was obscene, however, the final bill was approx $1,600 to replace a part and clean the system. In hindsight, I should have gotten more quotes for this work but I was limited on time and honestly just wanted to get a good nights sleep. My recommendation would be to get multiple quotes for the HVAC work you need. If AnyTemp is the optimal option then their service seemed great. I was a very long time customer for Any temp heating until recently when they started ripping me off. They usually charge $98 assessment fee but this time when come to repair my heating system, they saw that I was renovating my basement and instantly increased the assessment fee to $169 and told me they would credit it towards the repair which would have been a rip off if I went with it. And top of it I had the appointment scheduled on Friday between 2 to 4pm, the guys shows up after 4pm and says he doesn't have the parts to repair and cannot bring it as it is late in the day and if I would like to go a head with the repair next day it would be additional charge because it's Saturday. It's good that I had a backup heating system or else that would been an issue. I said I was ok with the repair to be done on Monday. And the technician said he will send the quote to repair the system which he didn't do until I called him on Monday and it was around 2000$. I expected it would be high as soon as I saw him talking about the renovation I was doing and saying it looks really good and probably I was spending lot of money doing it but never expected it as high as if I add few more $ I would probably get a new system. That's when I started cross shopping and came across JML heating after I told them what happened they waived the accessment fee and said they wanted to build a relationship and sent a technician right away. They assessed (which took them time, because the technician Angel from any temp heating messed it up when he made an assessment) understood what needs to be done and quoted me 1/4th of the amount that any temp has quoted. They cleaned the whole system and replaced 2 fuses and the system was back up and running. It has been 2 weeks and it's working flaw less. They also gave me a quote of 100$ to clean my backup heating system where any temp was charging $395 to do it, which I said I will get it done when renovation is completed. So please be aware of crooks and thieves like Any temp heating. They even ripp off their loyal customers. Now I lost 169$ for no reason. read more

Because my house was getting cold, I went to the basement and discovered that my boiler had stopped working. The outside temperature was in the 20's. At 5:10 p.m. on Wednesday, immediately after I learned the boiler wasn't working I called AnyTemp Heating & Cooling in Bensenville, IL. Another great review and update for Any Temp! Our ancient AC system was on its last legs and after a few consults, we decided to replace the system. The team from Any Temp walked us through a number of options and at the end of the day ended up upgrading our systems to a heat pump (which has worked amazingly well in the recent heat wave!). During the install, Adrian, Antonio and Saul were extremely efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. When there were issues with a part fitting with our system, they were able to source a replacement and find a solution the same day and did so without adding onto our costs at all, which was a huge value-added for us. They kept us informed throughout the day and worked well over the expected time frame to make sure the job was done right. Since it's a new system for us, they also took the time to ensure we understood the components and how to make it work effectively in our 100+ year old home. I am really disappointed & confused with this company. On the website they say they work on mini splits & even install them. Well once I called for the service they called to see what the manufacturer of mini splits I had. Then was informed they don't work on that brand. They agreed to send a technician anyways which was very considerate of them. Once the technician came he checked them out. I did appreciate that he was willing to do that even though he wasn't familiar with mini spit. After his assessment, he determined there might be a leak on one unit but not sure about the other unit. He didn't want to add Freon if there's a leak & be back in a month or two do it again. He also informed there was a sealant he could've have put in, but he wasn't sure how to put it in & if not put in properly could damage the fan of the unit. I told the technician that on the website it states you work & install mini splits. He said he doesn't look or know what the website says & apologized. Sept 7 -23 I had a Williams heater replaced that was 43 yrs old and needed one control part which was no longer available. I used Any Temp since a relative has used them for replacements and yearly service. I was also happy with my experience. I was reminded by text of my next day appointment, was texted that they were on their way. They put on shoe covers and were careful not to damage my painted walls going up and down my stairs.
