Always on time; fair pricing, friendly and excellent service. Tech Hugo did a great job cleaning and adjusting my system.

The technician was suppose to come between 8 - 830. I called around 9 am I was told there was an emergency. Fine My concern Is with your customer service. No one called me This makes me angry. I used to work in customer service. This would be something to the customer. If I did this I would be in serious trouble. Because you don't treat your customers like you did. You always let your customers if there is a delay. You guys failed this If you guys keep doing this. You guys will go elsewhere for service read more

Went with Youngrens to take a look at our AC unit that was not effectively cooling. From the start, Misty was very pleasant to set up an appointment with, and was able to setup a service call for the very next day. They had given us a a 3 hour window from 9:00 till noon. The next morning they politely asked if it would be OK for them to come out sooner, which worked better for us in our case. Andy the technician was very thorough and answered all our questions, and did an excellent job. He did not try to upsell us and offered us all available discounts available for us. He did a great job and would use their services again read more

Outstanding service. Above and beyond. They said they'd be here within an hour and they arrived in 10 minutes. Would highly recommend

Made an appointment online early morning and got a response within a half hour. I was promised service between 10&12 same day and Brad showed up at 11. My unit was inspected, box rewired with their recommendation and had the capacitor replaced. Mind you, my unit was very old(over 10 yrs) and was worried that he would recommend a unit replacement and to my excitement, it wasnt. There was a$35 service discount on website that I mentioned and they honored it with a refund to my bill. I would definitely use them again in the future--trustworthy company, turns out they have serviced same unit from previous owners!!! read more

On the first 90 degree day of summer, Youngren's was able to come out very quickly and service our AC. Joe was excellent, walking me through every step along the way and pointing out a few things we coulld do to make the AC more efficient. We were expecting a large amount of freon to need to be pumped in at significant cost. When completed, the bill was approximately 25% of our expectations. Highly recommend using them. read more

We've used Youngren's for HVAC maintenance since building our current home. We did try another business because of the lure of a deal on Groupon that turned out not to provide the quality of service we came to expect from Youngren's, Early in December we decided to look into replacing the HVAC units, and entertained bids from several companies. The bids from all the companies were close for comparable units. What separated Youngren's from the rest is not only our previous relationship, but their willingness to return calls and answer questions. The installation crew along with Doug, the estimator were on time. Doug reviewed the job with the crew and answered additional questions, The job was completed the same day, and the furnace room was left neat and clean. They even took the time to tutor us on how to use our new Ecobee Smart thermostat. The following day Doug called to check how everything went...... there was one small problem... our 6 month old Boxer puppy Indy decided to "remove" the insulation that wrapped the A/C line to the compressor. Doug took care of that too. Not only did they do an excellent job, they accept most major credit cards , and give a discount for cash . read more

Al from Youngren's came to install my whole house Air Purification UV light (Reme Halo). He answered all my questions and did a great job installing the Reme. Professional, courteous and competent. I contacted Youngren's because of all the positive reviews and was not disappointed. Great business to take care of your HVAC needs. read more

Youngren's Heating & Cooling - Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC Near Me - Aurora, Illinois

Wow, what an honest company! My wife called them to come out for the expected purpose of replacing our 30 year old furnace as our heating had just completely turned off for a couple days. They found the problem to be a simple fix (corroded battery in the thermostat). Rather than even talking about buying an expensive new furnace or upselling, he quickly did some trouble shooting and found the problem. When we actually do need to inevitably replace our old furnace, there is no doubt this is the company we will go with! read more

AL came over on time and did the service quickly and made sure to maintain a quality repair. I only needed the motors oiled and preventive maintenance...he made sure I knew how to do it myself for the future and was very courteous toward my family by offering a senior citizen discount and still being super professional but still human enough to talk about his family . read more

Outstanding service! It was a steamy, hot summer day when our air conditioning stopped cooling. I gave Youngren's a call at 1:24 pm, and 20 minutes later two repairmen, Andy and Chuck, showed up at our door. They were safely masked and very congenial. They got right to work; and forty minutes later, our house began to cool. We are so grateful to Youngren's for the incredible service! read more

We started using Youngren's in 2008 for annual furnace cleaning and check-ups. We also had several trouble calls in that time. It was finally time for a new furnace and A/C so we called Youngren's. Doug came out and gave us a quote. The work was done a few days later. We had a problem with how the installation was done. Doug and Tim came out the same day we called. They looked things over and said, without hesitation, that they would make the changes we asked for. They scheduled the work for the next day. Tom and Alex came out and made the changes. We consider this EXCELLENT customer service. All the people we have dealt with from Youngren's over the years have been prompt (they show up when they say they will), clean, courteous, professional and knowledgeable. This includes Amy who answers the phone. Bottom line: Youngren's is a company you want to do business with. Give them a call. read more

We've got a very old (70s) Montgomery Ward wall heater that was only getting hot on one side (the right side, above the burner). I need to replace it, but we haven't decided what to do with the room and the unheated room next to it. In time, we may merge them and whether we do or not will affect the replacement model for this heater. I was hoping we weren't going to be forced to decide just yet, and luckily Youngren's worked very hard to get this thing going as good as new again. We're very grateful; someone else may have said it just needed to be replaced, and it seems to be working better than it has in 20+ years. read more

When you're shopping for a replacement HVAC system, it can be a stressful process to get a great system at a fair price. I selected Youngren's amongst 6 local companies that all has a personal referral. The difference is how the sales consultant, Doug Lawrence, treated me with respect, care, and really knew his stuff. The right system, scheduling, and price quote was handled by Doug. He pays attention to customer details and made it a smooth process. He even showed up on the install date to make sure the qualified service people knew what I was expecting. I am happy with my Bryant furnace and a/c after 6 months of service. Five stars was earned by the total team focus at Youngren's. read more

Definitely worth a rating of 4 or 5. We hired Youngren's to both clean out all of our vents and ductwork plus do yearly maintenance on our A/C. There are lawn service companies that will clean your ducts for less and handymen that will check out your A/C for less, but my wife and I wanted one highly-skilled, HVAC professional to do both jobs on the same day. We also wanted to deal with one reputable company only, not two. Youngren's of Aurora, IL, met our needs. The nice fellow assigned to complete our work knocked $20 off the A/C job, since he was already here for the vent cleaning. Being a thorough professional, he cleaned the inside of both our furnace and A/C. He also tested both electrical capacitors and determined that, at ten (10) years of age, they could fail within the next few years. He quoted a price for the two capacitors, but after I implored him to go easy on this elderly, disabled man (me) he installed them at a 15% discount. The total bill was $778. We have already noticed that our dryer dries our clothes faster at the same heat setting. Also noticed that our A/C cools our upstairs better at the same temperature setting. Clean ducts and clean A/C coils make a difference. read more

Removed and replaced our entire HVAC system in 6 hours! Plus, the installation was cleaner and more professional than the original put in when the home was built 25 years ago. From my first phone call, to our estimator Doug and all of the technical staff; Andy who did the initial service check, Dave and Shawn our installers and Al who made a service check the following day, we got nothing but excellent service and experienced, friendly staff. Definitely gonna stick with these guys. read more

I had a leak in my AC and they were crazy quick, so grateful for their response and great work!

Youngren's Inc. replaced my two furnaces, two a/c units and a water heater last week. The installation took 1 1/2 days as promised. Everyone involved was friendly, professional and kept me in the loop. I highly recommend Youngren's. There is a reason their business has been around so long, good people! read more

We didn't pay Youngren's a penny. Because they are honest. At the beginning of the summer, our AC broke. We called our home warranty company, which hooked us up with another HVAC company, and that company did the repair. We spent about $500 on that. We knew our unit has maybe one summer left in it (if we're lucky), but we were still surprised when it went out on us less than 8 weeks later. We were ready to rough it without AC for the rest of the summer. So, I headed to Yelp and found four reputable companies, called each of them, and scheduled times for quotes. Youngren's was the 4th HVAC expert to visit our home. Thank GOD we called a 4th one. Prior to that, three companies came in and did EXACTLY what was asked of them - they provided us quotes for new units. Each technician looked at our current unit and the electrical panel in our basement. All of the quotes, including Youngren's, were nearly identical. So why Youngren's? While in the basement, the technician looked at the electrical panel and asked my husband, "did you try flipping this switch?" Uh, nope? *Flips switch* The AC went back on and blew cool air into our home once again. Now, this was our own stupidity for a lack of knowing any better, and those other companies did do what they were asked, but each of them looked at our electrical panel and said NOTHING. Youngren's was HONEST! They also provided a quote that was right on track with the other companies. We will need a new unit, no doubt about that, but rather than have to hustle up $3k+ NOW we can wait until next summer is closer. Youngren's will definitely be visiting our home again in 2017. read more

Since Youngren's installed a new furnace and AC for me two weeks ago, I decided to have them come clean out my air ducts since they have never been done in 21 years. The job took about 3 hours which is what they told me ahead of time. The technician was prompt and completed the job according to our contract. I was pleased with the service. The technician was thorough and neat, and I would definitely call this company again. read more

I had requested a quote this afternoon after sending out a message i believe I received a response in less than 10 minuets. I had contacted several other people who offered to come out tomorrow. I didn't want to up route my children to a hotel so I was so thankful then Youngren's said they could have someone there between 1-4. Not only did they contact me to let me know someone was available it was before 2pm. They fixed the problem and the gentleman ( forgive me I forgot his name) was kind explained what was happening and what should be done. From the start till the end the customer service was great as well as the service. read more

I left messages for 3 local companies when my a/c went out. Youngren's got back to me, sent a tech out, & fixed the a/c before any of the other companies even returned my messages. The tech that came out was knowledgeable and didn't try to up-sell me, which I very much appreciated. I would definitely recommend them for a/c repair. read more

I cannot speak highly enough of the service I received from Youngren's. Responded to my Yelp message very quickly and was scheduled within a couple days. On time and Todd was very helpful in suggestions and recommendations. Didn't feel pressured or misled regarding my 1year old a/c (from another company) not working efficiently. I came home from being out of town to a furnace that was making an awful noise. I asked my neighbor if he could recommend an HVAC company. He said go with Youngrens their the best...not the cheapest, but the best. I was able to get an appointment the next day. Don was the service tech. I could tell from the short time talking to him that he was very knowledgeable on all things furnace related. He picked up on the problem right away. (The propeller was hitting the front fan guard. He made a minor adjustment to the propeller and problem fixed.) He then did a clean and tune up. When I made the appointment I was quoted a price that included a diagnostic fee and a cleaning fee. I called the shop and told them I thought the diagnostic fee seemed a little steep as it was such a small repair. Without hesitation they adjusted the diagnostic fee to the lowest price for a repair and I was still able to use my $25.00 coupon off the service call. As a disabled person who lives on a fixed income I cannot tell you how much I appreciated this kind gesture. It was more than fair on your part So thanks Youngrens for being so kind, courteous, professional...and putting your customers first. This customer will be back again! read more

Found them on yelp. Contacted me instantly. Came same day within a few hours on a busy holiday. Fixed the issue. Very satisfied.

We were in the market for a complete Heating and Air Conditioner system as ours was 20 years old. We got multiple quotes, Youngren's was the last quote we got. Tim, from Youngren's, who is the service manager but was filling in at sales couldn't have been nicer....and who better to come out but the service manager. He didn't try and sell us things we didn't need like other companies did. He was most honest and gave us multiple HVAC options to choose from and the quotes he gave us were very reasonable. So needless to say we went with Youngren's and so glad we did! Marty and Tom did all the installations and wow, were they good! Very nice, professional and the place was spotless when they left. We couldn't be happier with all Youngren's did for us, thank you! read more

Youngren's is amazing. Even though it was Sunday morning when my furnace stopped working, I was able to leave Youngren's a voicemail and got a call right back. The technician arrived at my home just 25 minutes after I placed the call! He fixed the furnace right away. This is the only HVAC company I know of that takes calls on the weekend. Thank you, Youngren's for getting our heat back on! read more

Youngen's is the best. My air was not 100% over the weekend so I called and left a message. They called me early this morning and I was still asleep. Two hours later they show up at my door before I even had a chance to call them back. I told them I needed someone early because I was going to work by 2. Tom fixed my air in a half hour and it didn't cost me an arm and a leg. I've used Four Seasons and Air-Rite before and ended up paying a fortune. Thank you Youngen's for the great service!! Will never use any other company again!! read more

We contacted Youngren's for an estimate to have our AC unit replaced. We had the quote within a day and a new, quieter AC unit installed in less than a week. This was outstanding considering it is June! Doug furnished the quote and saw the process through to installation. Tom installed our unit and we couldn't be happier with the service provided by both. Youngren's pricing is very competitive and their service is top-shelf. We definitely recommend them. read more

If you want professional service done, these are the guys! Over this past summer I purchased a AC unit for my Father who needed one badly even if he said he didn't. Not only were they, quick, reliable, and professional they also put up with a 60 year old man's questions and doubt's. Needless to say the unit works great and no longer does my father's house feel like the amazon rain forest! Even my father was impressed. Which is a pretty big since the last time he was impressed with anything was back in 1985 when the Bears won the Superbowl. To make a long story short, if you have heating and cooling needs look no further than Youngren's! read more

My parents used this company back in June and still had issues, however they did not reach back out to allow the company to rectify any potential overlooked issues. When I went to visit my parents recently and felt how hot their home was, and their child I acted impulsively and called Youngrens expressing my dissatisfaction with how my parents air was working (or lack their of) after their service. The next morning I was contacted by Tim who was polite, patient and informed me my family had not reached out to express what they were experiencing. I apologized for my presumptuous approach and expressed my gratitude that Tim took my message seriously even though I was clearly missing some information. Not once did he make me feel like an idiot or attack me for my initial poor review. I have been contacted by my parents and informed not only was their air fixed today, but the technician was kind, and it was free of charge. I am humbled and so thankful to Tim for showing me why his company deserves the high rating reflected on yelp. My initial outlook has been reset, and I too am a fan. THANK YOU TIM & team. Your professionalism and swift response, will not be forgotten! read more
