I don't know where to start. I visited Asma's for a late lunch, and left immensely dissatisfied, nauseous, and feeling ripped off. I took my girlfriend out for Indian cuisine. The atmosphere and amenities were typical restaurant flair, nothing special. The staff showcased terrible hygienic practices, for example the gentleman working the front and delivering food would routinely wipe sweat from his brow with a napkin, wipe his nose with his bare hands, and not wash his hands whatsoever. Another gentleman kept picking his nose, and also not washing his hands. I was so shocked witnessing this display that I could not look away the entire length of my stay. If this is evidence of how employees manage their personal hygiene, I would hate to see how the staff in the kitchen manage theirs (although that's not entirely a fair judgment call). Then the sweating, nose wiping gent delivered our meals to us but not before gracing our buttered chicken with his fingertips for an additional dash of sodium and mucus. As you can imagine the food quality was awful, well below average, and the only reason it was consumed is because I'm vehemently against food waste. The total rounded up to $40+ for two mango lassis, buttered chicken, and palak paneer and a mighty generous tip (because I'm a sucker). This is one of those experiences you never, and restaurants you never return to, and tell everyone to avoid at all costs. Asma's Cuisine, you are eternally edged in my mind for all the wrong reasons. We scouted this out for lunch while getting our car serviced nearby. Very friendly staff that recommended the buffet, which was reasonably priced. Steady stream of people coming to sit down and to get take-out. The food was tasty. No heavy sauces, very light. Not overly salted as some buffets can be. Very good experience. I have had the best experience here. We have been coming to this place for 6 years and have never been disappointed. The food is great and the young guy who works behind the counter is always friendly. He is the only one I have ever dealt with here. The prices can't be beat especially for the buffet. I think it is $8 on weekdays and $10 on the weekends and the food is better than many other Indian/Pakistani restaurants I've gone to. read more

Asma cuisine is my go to spot for AUTHENTIC Indian/Pakistani food. My favorite dishes are the Chicken 65, Nihari (get with bullet naan), and butter chicken. Worst worst worst service ever. I booked asma crystal hall for my engagement party. Just because I am a young girl and was dealing with her , she told me to pay upfront the whole amount one week ago and I did. It was total 130 and may be 120 showed up. She couldn't serve enough appetizer , not enough desert and the beef was awful (very bad smell coming of the beef, I am not sure how old was it). I am sure you made good amount of profit by serving the worst food ever. I swear God never ever will do any other event with you and I will tell other people not to deal with you. You broke my trust and shamed my family in front of our guest. Shame on you asma crusine. read more

Ordered a saag paneer for takeout one rainy day a month ago. They give us probably 3 or 4 small pieces of paneer in the box, and the rest of the contents were purely gravy. We felt so cheated at the portions considered they were wanting 8 to 9 dollars per box. They have lost my business. With so many other desi restaurants in the area, this place particularly needs to step up the portion size and quality. Hopefully management can step it up. read more

This is definitely very good lunch buffet for the price. The variety is just right and the taste of the food is also very good. Its pretty balanced. I like it very much. The interior is clean and simple and the food is nice. Ok the food was flavorful..nice bold flavors and the portion size was very generous. However the paneer ..I don't know I could be wrong but it tasted like tofu. I really thought it was tofu. The buffet food always tastes stale, as if it's a few days old. Their biryani tastes so old, it tastes like it was cooked a week ago and keeps getting reheated. Just ordered food from here tonight and unfortunately it was not good at all. We got chicken biryani, chicken tikka masala, beef seekh kabob, and samosa chaat. The chicken biryani was soooo greasy and only had a couple pieces of chicken in it. The chicken tikka masala was sooo sweet and the chicken was soggy and almost tasted raw. The beef seekh kabob was just okay and the samosa chaat barely had any samosa in it and the chick peas were under cooked. Maybe the owner or cook was fasting and that is why the food was not great but don't think I will be coming back. read more

Authentic and 100% delicious! My 11 year old son and I found Asma's by accident. I am blown away. The lunch buffet is fantastic. Their butter chicken is probably the best I've had. I just loved the beef nehari (new to me). My son loved everything... especially the very fresh naan that they kept bringing out. I may come back to this family owned gem tomorrow. I used to LOVE this place. Would eat here all of the time. I'm almost positive it's changed management because the youngish guy who used to run it is never there anymore. He had great customer service skills and the food was always delicious. The last 3 times I came here, I had a bad experience. (Yes, I give 2 and 3 chances.) The first time I ordered online for takeout and the restaurant was opening at 11. They had it available online to order earlier so I went ahead and ordered at 10:45 am. I went in about 11:15 to pick it up and the guy seemed annoyed that I dare order when they were opening. I'm sorry but if you open at 11, shouldn't your buffet and food be prepared by then? I didn't say anything but continued to wait 45 more minutes while I saw others coming in and picking up food. The guy running the place said nothing to me. I got the "feeling" that I was a woman and not of his culture, therefore not worth his time. Yet, I went again.. 2nd visit same vibe. He's just rude! And on this visit, Inwas there for the buffet. I was encouraged to eat other proteins besides the Tandori chicken. I don't eat a lot, but this older man showed me other chicken dishes when I asked for the Tandori to be refilled. The third time I ordered online and they got my order wrong. They also changed their Chana Masala recipe and it's now gross. It tastes like dog food. So, I now go to Naan and Curry. Went to have Sunday brunch with my family yesterday. That was my first & last time. From the food to the customer service, everything was disappointing. The only thing I cared for was their halwa, tandoori chicken and kheer. Unfortunately their main items like biryani, nihari, haleem, qorma & paya was not worth trying at all. If you haven't been to Asma's in a while, you should give it a second chance. My son wanted to come here for his birthday and we were pleasantly surprised! The Nihari, achar gosht and Karachi chicken were awesome!! We also had lots of naan, roti and bullet naans. Will definitely go back again and again. read more

Nothing Fancy here. Just Run-of-the-mill Paki. food. TOO MUCH OIL in almost every thing. Your food is drowning in OIL. If Ms. Asma is reading this - cut down on oil and you can still make delicious food only with technique and spices. Tables are dirty. Do not wait for the kitchen staff to clean the tables. The person standing at the counter has plenty of time to remove dirty dishes and clean the tables. PAY ATTENTION to the needs of your guests and Stop waiting for kitchen staff to clean the tables. They are busy in Kitchen. We think, the people who are at the counter are owner's relatives and kids and they find it beneath them to pick up a wet rag and clean the tables. EVERY table and chairs MUST be wiped Clean after the Guest Leaves - dirty or not. read more

The chicken 65 didn't have enough masala and was dry. Besides that I did like the karahi chicken, it was cooked well especially the curry which had a nice aroma. The goat korma in my opinion was too sweet and the look wasn't appealing. There kulfi are unique. Tip: don't as the red syrup unless u wanna ruin your kulfi. read more

Tried this place last week. Not a fancy place. Had the lunch buffet which was delicious and price was reasonable (around $6.99). Lot of items in buffet. Food was flavorful. The chicken tandoori was soft and delicious. Chicken and goat korma (in gravy) & vegetarian items were delicious too. Paratha & naan were soft & good. Asma's Cuisine is one of my favorite Indian/Pakistani restaurants. I never leave without ordering the Chicken 65. If you can handle spicy, order it with the Bullet Naan. It's very flavorful and soft.
