Asian Taste is quick, convenient and consistent! They have a few tables, but I always take it to-go. I love their lunch special- it's a nice portion with a drink for under $10. I typically get their chicken with cashews and white rice. Their rice is sticky and the sauce always tastes the same, which is a huge bonus because it's delish! I have been wanting to try this place for quite some time because they so many things on their menu. I ordered online and it was very self explanatory and easy. I was greeted as I walked in and I explained how I was there to pick up an online order. He asked my name and gave me my food! It was well packaged. I truly enjoyed everything that I ordered! I ordered the steam dumplings and they were everything I was hoping they would be! So delicious! I also ordered the crab rangoons and those were good. I was given a very large portion of the sweet and sour sauce to go with the crab rangoons. I was thankful for that! Still looking for decent Chinese food around Rincon... First gripe... You can't order by phone. Only in person or online (for a much higher price). Second... We've ordered as a group twice now, and they've botched my meal both times. I ordered sesame chicken the first time, and got shrimp instead, and it was very bad. Tiny shrimp with massive amounts of breading and a gross sesame sauce. Tonight, I ordered the seafood soup, and I had been thinking of trying it all day. I have a head cold and was seriously hoping this was going to be good. They forgot it, but charged us for it. Unless I drive all the way back, I'm the only one without his dinner, or the money. They couldn't have cared less. As a result, everyone else offered me some of their food. The fried wontons were excellent. The sweet n sour chicken was fine. I love the boy at the front counter. He is always so nice and asks me how I'm doing. The food is great too. The feeling inside the restaurant is boosted just by having a conversation with the boy at the front. The boy at the front always manages all of the customers perfectly and is overwhelmingly nice to everyone. I could never hope for better service in a restaurant. He always calls me handsome when I walk in the restaurant. I touched his hand while handing him my money and I felt like we had a special little moment. The food always looks great which works perfectly with the great looking young mad at the front counter. This is my favorite restaurant and I doubt that will change any time soon. read more

Wanted to update my review since it's been a year. They are taking full covid precautions. The dining area was clean. The food is made fresh. The seasoning was all good and was warm when we got it home. It was good overall. Sometimes things are a little off, broccoli slightly over-cooked, chicken a little tough - never to the point were it no longer tastes good but that is why four stars instead of five. The staff is nice and the food is pretty good, best in the area in my opinion so we will definitely keep going back. If you are looking for a decent asian meal this is the place! read more

Asian Taste has to be one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in Effing ham county especially because they offer Hibachi! I am constantly having the battle between Chinese food or Japanese food but now I can go and make the decision all in one place. Although this inst a Japanese restaurant it offers many of the great hibachi choices that are offered, from Teriyaki shrimp bowls to the same express plates with shrimp and beef with vegetables. Definitely excited to have Asian taste in the area especially being so close to job. This will make my lunch breaks easier to decide where to eat! read more

I have been a faithful customer since they opened because my husband loves Chinese Food. Over the past few months, the service has drastically decreased. Prior to today, my order has been wrong Once, he did not even ring up one of my meals.. I have a family of four and it is nothing for us to spend $30+. Whenever, I called to complain,, they always apologized. I figured, okay they are applogetic, it happens. Well today, my order was wrong again. I ordered a shrimp egg roll (I love agg rolls!). This time when I called, I asked if I could come get what I ordered, not tonight of course, the kid who takes the ordersntold me when I come to get the correct egg roll, bring the wrong one. So I asked, "I come several days from now, do you want me to bring the old egg roll". He said yes. So have frozen the egg roll so it does not stink and I will go back when I get a chance.and get what I ordered. I WILL NOT EAT THERE AGAIN! I have tried to be understanding, but enough is enough. Last three times had bad experiences. My wife was the first to notice the extreme rudeness from the boy working the counter. Then I got the same treatment when picking up an order. He was so rude when picking up the last order, he picked up our order and literally threw it toward my wife. This is one reason I don't like to leave a tip before the service. There are other Asian restaurants in the area we won't be going here anymore. I highly recommend not patronizing this restaurant unless you want to be belittled. Called in an order, and the person taking my order cut me off after every statement to say" is that all" and they hung up after saying the price, not allowing time for me to pay over the phone or give my name. When my family went to pick the order the people working didn't know which order it was and when we got it home some of it was inedible. The chicken on a stick was so over cooked my family thought it was pork. I called the next day and explained how I felt and was told it was chicken and spoke down too. We ordered over 40$ worth of food for the 2 of us, we order from here often. We called the store back approximately 10 minutes after picking up our order to inform then they had forgot one of our appetizers. the young man insisted 3-4 times that it was in the bag... we said maybe they put it in another bag bc there was many orders out but it was not in ours. We were simply asking if we could come pick it up, not even a refund. The young men then proceeded to say to my boyfriend that "well some guys just like to steal sooo". My boyfriend explained we were not stealing a 7$ chicken on a stick... he simply wanted it for dinner lol. The man again implied that we were lying and it was in the bag. At this point we said nevermind and asked for a refund bc i would rather not eat at an establishment that is so poorly ran. First visit for carry-out the food was very good, with somewhat flippant service from the 'manager'. Second time, the food was over cooked and bland. Thought it might be an 'off' day. Third try at carry-out - when I got home with the meal, discovered what I ordered was not in the bag. Ordered and paid for large meal to discover a small meal in the bag. Be sure to check your bag before leaving this place! Drove back to take the inadequate meal back into the restaurant, somewhat heated and demanding a refund. The so-called manager asked for the food back, which I had but mistakenly left a small carton of fried rice home (which was part of the dish). Strike 3 for me, I'm done! Ive ordered from here a total of 4 times, only one of which was good. the first time we ordered, sat down and ate and it was fine. 2nd time I placed an online order and even called to verify what I was ordering was what I wanted and paid online. My bf rides the 20 min to rincon to pick it up and opens the bag to only 2 of the 3 plates we paid for online. I called, the lady apologized over and over again & says my next order would be free. 3rd time- 2 weeks pass, we ordered again (same exact order) I went in to pick it up and let the kid at the front know what happened before and that the lady said my next one would be free and he first tried to argue that what i ordered on this day was diff than the order they had messed up (as though I was trying to get over on them and he, I suppose, wasn't going to let it happen). I told him I'm sure I could pull up the receipt online & he started talking to the woman who I'm going to assume was the one I would've been speaking to the night they screwed up my order, and then deducts the one meal from my total. I told them I don't mind paying for my food, but just so we're clear, this isn't me getting anything "Free" for the inconvenience, I'm simply getting the meal I paid for two weeks ago today bc they screwed up. They said "it's ok it's ok, total is...." whatever the amount was. I let it go as a language barrier thing but was more irritated at the fact that this kid questioned me and my attempt to get my order that I paid for two weeks earlier. 4th time- just went to pick up an order we called in and I go in to pick up my food and asked for extra Teriyaki sauce before I paid in case they wanted to charge extra, i paid for my food & then he brings back one ramican of sauce when we have 4 people eating, in the past they put it in a container that was a decent size. When I asked if I could get one more he hesitated, said it'd be 50 cent, I told him I have change in my car, ill bring it back in since he already ran my card. He gets the sauce and stands there with it and stared at me as though to say I'm not getting the sauce until i go out and grab the change, which was totally awkward and for the 2nd time acting as though I'm someone who he needs to prevent from getting over on them. So of course i went out grabbed 50 cent to go back in and get my food just to get all the way home and AGAIN, MY ORDER ISNT RIGHT. instead of one chicken teriyaki no veg, & 2 chicken and steak with veg (same as always) we got 2 plain chicken teriyaki & 1 with steak and veg. To make matters worse the same kid answers my call & argued with me about the order my bf placed while I sat right next to him in the car. Of course it was offered for me to drive 20 min back to pick up the correct order but Im done. lesson learned, I'll eat seasons of Japan before I deal with the type of customer service this place provides. Both the sesame and General Tso's taste like ketchup. The "shrimp sauce" is ranch. The Yang Chow is bland The "fried rice" is just yellow rice with no flavor. Won't order again. read more

They have the best fried rice in town. The rice includes eggs and pork which is beyond the carrots and peas that is normally only served in a side of fried rice. The pork fried rice is served as a standard side which is great. The cream cheese wontons are triangle shaped which keeps the filling inside and is a lot less messy to eat. Most restaurant that serve Japanese and Chinese food either get one or the other great, but this place has mastered both. Definitely my favorite Asian restaurant in Rincon. read more

I was craving some fried rice while in the area and decided to stop here for lunch. I ordered the hibachi chicken lunch special. The chicken was very fresh (white meat) and tasty. The veggies were sautéed to perfection. For the price and the portion size I was greatly impressed. I could have eaten it without any sauce added but of course I poured the shrimp sauce on top. I was happy when I found out that Rincon was going to have what I thought was going to be a hibachi place. When I walked in the first time, definitely not what I was expecting. Not the cool sit-down hibachi I had incisions. Ya know, that's ok 'cause I love some American-Chinese food too. (Who am I kidding. I just like food ‍) Maybe they will be a change of pace from the other couple little local joints. Nope.... I ordered my stuff to go on the phone to keep from having to wait too long. (Its a new place) They said 15-20 minutes. I show up right at 15 minutes. I had to wait an addition 15-20 minutes to get my food even tho our ticket number was lower than everyone else's. That's not a big deal all in all. Good food is totally worth waiting on. Sadly, it was NOT good food....or even mediocre food. My honey ordered a hibachi steak which comes with veggies and fried rice. Got it home and he had three of the teeniest pieces of broccoli and a whole heap ton of onions. The steak was...like some super thin mystery meat looking thing and they also forgot to give us the fried rice. We had one container of white rice for both of us. My daughter got the teriyaki chicken that was dry and tasteless. I ordered the Mongolian beef which was actually pretty decent. The rice we did get was white (which went with my meal) and was under cooked. Portions were quite small (except for mine) and my boyfriend had to go hunting in the fridge and pantry for more food. read more
