The reviews for this restaurant are a bit deceptive, because this is a case where you have to adjust your expectations. But once you do, you will find this to be a very adequate buffet experience. First of all, this restaurant is tucked in the corner of a strip mall located in a larger complex with multiple Asian dining options, including two different. Korean restaurants. But they are plenty of parking spaces. So you shouldn't have any issue here. The restaurant is not extremely large but has plenty of seating. And on the Saturday afternoon that we visited we were immediately seated. Now the restaurant is a bit dated, and the booth we were in definitely shows some wear and tear with both bench seats having the vinyl split right down the middle. There are a couple of TVs on running Fox News, and the dining room is relatively quiet with just the chatter from other tables and booths. The selection of food is pretty good given the size of the restaurant and the overall price point. They have pre prepared sushi, hibachi and a plethora of fried food options,both on the Chinese and American side. They have a small dessert menu, but not much in terms of options. They have a pretty impressive fresh bar with fresh peeled shrimp, mussels, and oysters, which I was a bit, surprised to see. The oysters were refreshed while we were there, so I decided to try a couple and they weren't bad at all. I'm usually a bit nervous about trying oysters at buffet, but they did a good job of keeping them really iced and chilled. Service was also really good with the owner greeting new customers as they walked in and our server staying on top of our drinks and picking up our empty plates promptly. And the best thing about this place is the price. For two people our total bill came to a little bit over $40. This is a really good value given the variety and the service. Extremely disappointed. We don't get to go out much because of the cost of everything, and today was the first time in months we went out, this place isn't even a one star. None of the food we tried was good, none. The cucumbers tasted bad, rotten. the sauces tasted old, rancid. The pizza and fries my son got, he couldn't bite into, they were so old and hard, I tried the sushi and it tasted spoiled, we wasted our money, we couldn't find one dish on the buffet that tasted like it was even made at some point that day, this wasn't food that was just sitting out too long, this tasted like food that had been reused multiple times, for days. You can see when they add to the dishes they put the new dish in and then put the old stuff on top so if that doesn't get thrown out at night which I can tell it doesn't by the way it taste then who knows how long the stuff's been sitting. I can't show proof with pictures because the taste was the issue not the presentation but I did take a picture that shows the lack of care there's big huge rotten spots in the oranges sitting right on top of the dish. I'm really not even a picky person but I'm more just upset that this restaurant is a 4.2 star online and this is what it is. Everything I tried from the meat to the sushi to the sauces to the fruits and vegetables all tasted very old and when I say bad I don't mean I just didn't like the taste I mean like the food was days/weeks old, not fresh at all. We would've been OK if we could've even just found one thing on the buffet that was fresh that we could eat and our money wouldn't be wasted, and I wouldn't even have written the review but if this review can save one person's $40, then it's worth it because the way they run this business is not fair to the people just trying to have a decent meal. If I am in Pooler for any extended period of time I try to stop by the New Super Buffet on highway 80. They have a nice mix of Chinese food and traditional American comfort dishes, so their buffet has plenty of choices to make everyone happy . They also have a nice dessert section, hibachi grill (included in the buffet price), sushi, and a decent salad bar. I have always been able to be seated rather quickly even during their busy times at lunch and dinner. They can accommodate solo diners and large groups. There is plenty of free parking in front of the business. They are conveniently located right off highway 80, so you are able to avoid most of Poolers Outlet Mall traffic. A better buffet than many I have seen lately, this one had plenty of "protein-only" options that weren't covered in sweet sauces. I was able to put together a nice plate of fried pork, baked seafood, beef and broccoli and others without veering too far into the highly battered stuff. They do have spring rolls and lo mein and chow fun and the like. I was able to skip them. THey also have a hibachi if you're looking to assemble your own stir fry. Food was what you expect from Chinese buffet. Good options but they could replace food for hot food much sooner.

The food was on the colder side. Some was overcooked and some was undercooked. Also, our server was not friendly at all. I would not return.

I had 8 different sushi rolls. I liked all of them. I didn't bother with the non-Sushi offerings. $23.95 for dinner seemed reasonable to me. The rolls were all full-sized. None were the micro rolls you can finish in 2 bites. At many sushi-only restaurants, these rolls would be $10-$20 each. They were all prepared from scratch and were not sitting around. The salmon was cold so we didn't eat it. Not worth the food poisoning risk. Skipped the sushi too because it just didn't look fresh. The noodles were the best part of the meal. Also had the broccoli mushroom stir fry which was too soft for my liking. The mushroom in special sauce was good. My husband liked the pot roast but it was a bit dry for my taste. The seaweed salad was very sweet but I enjoyed it. We had excellent table service. The team removed plates at least three times. We topped our meal off with ice cream. This is a really good Chinese buffet not too far from 95. It gets crazy busy so the turnover is good. The ribs were stellar. Loved the crab croissants and the pepper steak. Sushi is ok and the Mongolian bbq looked good but I didn't partake of that. A little bit of everything will definitely fill you up. read more

We wanted to eat at Naan appetit but the buffet closed at 2, so we came here. We won't be coming back. There was a review that said the sushi was the best in town. Being a buffet, I didn't have high expectations for the sushi but we couldn't even eat it. The seaweed that was used in it tasted fishy. It was inedible. Whoever said it was "the best" hasn't eaten decent sushi. This was awful. None of us could eat it. The ice cream tasted freezer burnt and was not made from milk, but a mystery liquid. We brought 4 kids and they didn't like any of the entrees, despite eating a lot of sushi and Chinese in their life. Overall, the food was subpar and not very good at all. It is affordable and the buffet food is kept warm and seems to be clean. Some of the Chinese food here is good and equates to what you might get at Chinese takeout. Busy place off the highway. Staff were nice enough. Inside is average. Buffet looks nice it is fairly large. Food was average. The food temperature on many items was under 140. Nevertheless, I did not get sick so a success was had. Basic sushi, not a high selection, but it was fresh. Bathrooms a bit messy. Clientele was a bit of a variety. Price was $12.50 per person plus $2 for tea. Waitress was efficient in cleaning up after us. This is a good place to jam down a bunch of food quickly if you are in the mood for that. I was entice by the pictures of oysters posted by many yelpers and to my demise the oysters ran out really quick. I called ahead and was told oysters will be served all day long. I was looking forward to oysters and felt disappointed The food was A-Ok. They had some good sushi, just not too many. The corn in shrimp gravy was the best. They were limited of choices of food such as fried crabs. My mom got the hibachi shrimp and mushrooms, it came out like charcoal. It was badly burnt. Buffets of Chinese food often skeeve me out because you never know how long things have been sitting out, recirculated, etc. However, this place is really good! The restaurant is extremely clean, the buffet well organized, and the food quite delicious. They have salads, cold seafood like shrimp, fruit, and vegetables. Then, they have standard "kid friendly" stuff like chicken fingers, pizza, fries, etc. to appease younger tastes. Then, the Chinese smorgasbord opens up...fresh sushi, a make your own hibatchi (chef makes it, but you choose what goes in it), a wide variety of dishes with chicken, veg, beef, baked fish, appetizers like rangoons, sweet and sour chicken, ribs, crunchy noodles, three types of soup, fried rice and white rice, lo mein, etc. There's also a large dessert section with many choices and an ice cream machine. The price for lunch is reasonable and we ate our fill. The staff was attentive and made sure our used plates were removed and our drinks refilled. When I first went here, I thought it looked like a hole-in-the-wall Chinese place and I wasn't excited about it. However, I was wrong. While there's nothing extraordinary about this buffet, they serve good food and have good service as well. The choices on the buffet are good as well. They have some American options in case you have some folks with you that don't like Chinese food. The only complaint I have is that sometimes the food is left out for a while. For a lot of the options, this doesn't matter, but for those things that can get hard (like fried options or bread), it sometimes is a bad thing. However, this doesn't happen a lot and definitely not when they are during peak hours. This is a great buffet to go to, especially because it's out here in Pooler and you don't have to go all of the way into Savannah for great Chinese food. My husband and I stopped here for lunch on a road trip. We are very familiar with strip mall buffets, as we have road tripped a lot and have stopped at a lot of them because we like them.
