We really enjoyed my friend's Birthday Celebration! It took a while for us to get seated and for the chef to come but it was well worth the wait. I had the salad with ginger and ranch, miso soup and for the entree I ordered steak, chicken and shrimp! The food, entertainment and service was great!

The service was good. We really liked our chef. The environment is fun. It's fl nice that they do a special birthday celebration with a cupcake for $5 too. I did not love the food. I really wanted to but it was kind of bland and not really worth the cost.

By far my favorite Japanese restaurant in savannah since Kyotos left iykyk. Food prices can get a little pricey but, to be expected at a hibachi restaurant. Portions sizes are reasonable considering the cost, however well worth the experience. The layout and ambiance is true to the Japanese culture, with paintings and art throughout the establishment. Make note that this restaurant doesn't open til 4pm, which makes its highly reserved and sometimes limited. I suggest calling ahead and making reservations, especially if u have a party over two. Please tip your waiter

Celebrations at Miyabi are always fun! You will need to make a reservation as this place gets packed. There are other hibachi places in the area and even in SC, but this one is the best. It's also one of the cleaner looking ones they have. Tons of options for kids, adults, pescatarians, and those with a sensitive pallet. We really enjoy this place and their birthday celebration ritual.

I had dinner with a friend on Sunday evening and had a great experience. We got lucky because another party canceled and squeezed us in so make sure to get reservations. I had the filet mignon, shrimp and chicken entree with the salad and ginger house dressing and onion soup. The food was outstanding and cooked to order. You'll have a lot of leftovers so you'll be good for lunch the next day. Our server and chef were an excellent pair that constantly refilled our beverages and made for a fun and joyful experience. I will definitely be back...;-)

This place was awesome!! Be sure to make a reservation if you can. The service was top notch. The presentation done by the chef was very entertaining. He did a wonderful job of engaging with the table and making us laugh. The food had great flavor and there was a ton of it. Go hungry and be prepared to take some home.

Shrimp w tails, crispy rice, and chicken - super tasty! Kat kindly packed up our leftovers and sent us home with our favorite sauces.

Aside from Narra Tree, Bewon, and Jin Guk, we haven't had much luck finding Asian food we really enjoy. But Miyabi hit all the marks on our first try. My family and I were in the area running an errand when my husband spontaneously suggested Miyabi for dinner. As soon as we walked in, we were struck by how beautiful the space was. I got a little nervous seeing the sign about reservations. It was a Saturday night on a holiday weekend. The staff greeted us warmly and thankfully were able to accommodate us. We had the best server and chef - Kat and Shaq! The drink menu had a great variety. We tried the chicken, steak, and shrimp. Everything, including the soup and salad, was delicious. I was surprised by the number of sauce and dressing choices. We've been to many Japanese steakhouses, including the popular Benihana. Miyabi is easily one of the best we've had, if not the best. We're definitely coming back after such a great first experience. We hope to get Kat and Shaq again. They made the night memorable and took such good care of us. Everyone at our table left happy with full bellies. Thank you!

I love a good hibachi. This was another that was just so-so. The service and the atmosphere are nice. It's the food. The massive amount of rice is more than I'd ever seen given to one person. That is because you will have more rice than veggies and protein. It was a disappointment for sure.

Miyabi's is still a great place for a large group dinner. You get dinner and a show, what more could you want. Plus, the portions of food are legit. You can find Miyabi's located on Eisenhower and next door to a Chinese buffet. Service is always good and I love that you get a different experience depending on who the chef is. On my most recent visit we had Jackie Chan and he was hysterical. We were celebrating a birthday and he showed her lots of love. I can imagine he is much more PG when children are present. I ordered the shrimp and scallops and both were cooked perfectly. I do wish they provided more vegetables with the meal especially since rice is the main portion. And to be fair, you can always order more as an add on. To me their miso soup is a hit or miss so I've recently been doubling up on the salad instead of the soup. Best decision ever! I also ordered a virgin strawberry daiquiri and it was delicious. Some of their alcoholic drinks can be off. On a previous visit I tried their signature cocktail and was extremely disappointed. It tasted like straight up sour mix. Other than that I've never had a bad experience here. Be mindful you will not be seated until your entire party is present. And the more you participate with the chef the more fun you'll get out of the night.

How much is the early bird special?

It depends on what you order. There are different meat combinations. But they are between $15-$20.

We had their crispy spicy tuna appetizer with crispy square rice on the bottom and they were so good. For the main entree I ordered their butabara kimchi ramen and it was what I needed, the broth was rich, savory, and the kimchi really brings the broth flavor more dimensional. The ramen noodle texture was cooked to perfection and the pork belly paired so well in this ramen. My husband ordered the A5 wagyu rib eye and the steak melt in your mouth. We sprinkle the sea salt and dipped it in the quail yolk dashi juice and it was perfection! It is definitely a gem restaurant for Savannah! Truly amazing food experience!

There's a great selections of Japanese Whiskey, Sake and cocktails. We had a reservation and when we entered it was a bit confusing with people all over the place in the entrance not sure whether waiting to speak to the hostess or just casually waiting to be called for their table. After getting sorted we spoke to the hostess and then were shortly seated. The waiter came and took our drink orders right away. We got 2 cokes and a Whiskey Sour with Japanese Whiskey. After waiting about 15 min the waiter came back to take our food order, however we still had not gotten our drinks. We asked and said they were coming swiftly. Finally after 10 minutes later our drink orders came in. The cokes were flat but the Whiskey Sour was really good. I can't remember the waiters name but honestly she came by maybe 4 times the whole night and did not have the best attitude. The best thing about Ukiyo hands down was the food. Everything from the Ramen to the wagyu bao buns, just Wow. The wagyu was so crispy and just melted in your mouth. The ramen had amazing flavor profiles and was perfectly spiced. We also ordered the Chicken Karaage and this was so tender with the citrus mayo. This was also pretty big so were easily filled with all these dishes. The food and cocktails were amazing but the service really did disappoint from the delays and infrequent interactions.

Verenice was the BEST! Give that girl a raise or a promotion! She was doing it all! From taking orders, bringing food out, and cleaning up tables! She helped us navigate the menu/ordering. She also brought out our food to the table and was so helpful during our first time here. There were lots of ramen options to choose from. You choose your broth and meat option and that tells you your price. You can add extra toppings for additional costs. Runs about less than $20 a person. They have fountain drink options as well as other Asian drinks. They have rice bowl options as well as meat on a stick. They don't have kids meal options but it's about $8 for noodles and broth. Which is a good option for kids. I ordered shoyu broth for my son. I didn't realize it would taste so salty. I understand it's a soy sauce broth. But most ramen broths I've had isn't to that degree. I asked if they could add hot water to the hot water to make it less salty. Verenice again was so helpful, she brought the ramen back out and said if I needed more water added to just ask. I will say I did not appreciate the additional comments from some of the kitchen staff. The place is decorated with lots of anime characters. They have a vending machine with goodies. A claw machine with stuffed animals and lots of Pokémon cards for sale.
