Date night with all you can eat sushi was a hit. Sushi Kingdom has created a great space and experience. The space is clean and visually amazing! A massive sushi bar is at the center of the restaurant and paper lanterns light the dining room. You have the option to order from waitstaff or use a QR code on the table and place orders at your own pace - a great option if you want limited interaction. We tried their Clear Soup and it was probably one of the most rich broths I've had for this soup. When it came to appetizers, we may have gone a bit overboard. We enjoyed the Spring Rolls, Fried Calamari, Gyoza, Crab Rangoon, and the Coconut Shrimp. All were served fresh and HOT!!! A previous review mentioned that items were probably flash fried which is most likely correct. The serving sizes of these items are 1-3 pieces so it makes sense they are flash fried - totally fine with that! Their sushi is served more in a nigiri style. We tried the salmon, yellowtail, red snapper, and the white tuna. All seemed pretty fresh. The salmon sashimi that we tried had was also good. Sashimi is an additional $1 per piece. The Salmon Hand Roll and Classic California Roll (8pcs) were exactly what you would expect. No complaints. We tried three of their Special Rolls; Savannah Roll, Dynamite Roll, and the Green Dragon Roll. Great portions of 8pcs for each roll. No skimping on size and toppings. We didn't try many of the Hibachi options. In fact, we only tried the Hibachi Steak. They were tender and delicious - needed a tad bit more salt. We didn't have room for dessert but the did have a few ice cream options and Fried Oreos. read more

Unfortunately my two stars are for the ambiance, and the service. Although unfortunately that's not enough to make a restaurant for me. The food here is prolly sitting at my top five worst spots. Which is disappointing because of the hight reviews. We did not opt in for the all you can eat menu as I just wanted a roll and some fried rice. The fried rice was stale, tasteless, and nothing like the beloved hibachi rice. The yummy sauce was bland and added limited flavor to the dish as well. I actually sent it back which I've never done before in my adult life. The sushi was okay ish but the rolls were small and not cut properly so they fell apart. My clear soup was good nothing to write home about. And the crab ragoons definitely came from a frozen package. No crab in sight. I don't think anything this place does will fix the lack of taste and quality in the dishes. Unless they do a huge revamp. read more

A rather disappointing experience, I'm afraid. The service was inattentive to the point where I began to wonder if we had somehow become invisible, and the sushi itself was... well, meh seems almost too generous. Not the greatest AYCE sushi. I feel like the sushi has more rice than anything else. Service wasn't that great either. They take forever for the food to be served. Portions are not bad to try the place because it's not a lot but they're not great so you won't have to worry about left overs. read more

We went for a date night decided to do the all you can eat. Waited for awhile to get our appetizers. Once they arrived we immediately knew the spring rolls were frozen processed. My potstickers were ok. We ordered our entree next and my California roll was warm like it was out all day, he ordered hibachi steak our waitress never brought it after about 30mins we asked she said they are still making it. Then she came with it a small bowl of cut into cube size steaks with gravy stuff on it that was Lukewarm not even hot for it to be getting made. I ordered shrimp fried rice with no veggies add onions, it came out with the guy chewing as if he ate one of my shrimp no onions or eggs were in the rice. I tried another sushi roll and it did not taste like sushi either! Dang, the wasabi wasn't even kickn! This sushi place is all you can eat for $27 a person. The food was good minus one roll tasted like expired or bad fish. The food came out fast and we ordered on our phones which was nice. Jordan and I went to Sushi Kingdom today at Oglethorpe Mall, and it was such a great experience! I personally love Japanese food, coming from Brazil, it's something very common and popular there. Even though I find the flavors a bit different here in the U.S., I've really come to enjoy it, and this place definitely stands out. One of my favorite things was their ordering system. You just scan a QR code at your table and order exactly what you want, as many times as you want, since it's all-you-can-eat. Super convenient and honestly kind of fun. We ordered fried calamari, shrimp, salmon sashimi, spring rolls, a variety of sushi, and the clear mushroom soup. Everything came out really fast and keep in mind, this was on a Friday around 5:30/6pm, so that was impressive. The atmosphere is also a highlight. The place is beautiful and gives you a bit of a Japan-inspired vibe with colorful lights, wooden accents, and those Japanese-style lamps. I loved it. Just a quick tip: be mindful of how much you order. Since it's all-you-can-eat, they will charge extra if you leave too much food behind. Got the Buffett and the food was mid at best, the chicken fried rice had no flavor at all, the sushi rice kept falling apart, the calamari was stringy and didn't even taste like squid, also the miso soup wasn't all that, had better elsewhere. Multiple red flags with this place, but certain things had me going back n forth if I liked it or not. 1st red flag: asked to be sat at a table bc we had a stroller, when the server came to greet us she asked if we could move to a booth. I politely declinded due to having a large stroller and she just looked at me like I offended her and said she'll be right back (I guess seeing if another server would take us). They didn't 2nd red flag: you can't split the table up when it comes to the all you can eat. Either the whole table does it or nobody does it, which is really dumb. I get it so people can't share food, but what's the point of saying on the menu "sharing food will be an additional charge". 3rd red flag: their regular menu has double the amount of sushi than the all you can eat menu, and it's the same sushi rolls just with different names, no variety at all. And sashimi is an up charge PER PIECE?!? Their batter for the tempura is just awful and no flavor, just greasy. Only green flag: another server walking by complimented my baby and talked about his kiddos with us for a little, and took our order for more sushi when our server was gone for a hot min. Oh and they comped our entire meal lol (read below as to why) 4th red flag: my final order was shrimp fried rice, I ate the shrimp and as I was chewing felt something hard. Me thinking it was part of a shell I took it out of my mouth. After further investigating I immediately spit the shrimp out of my mouth bc it wasn't shell I bit into. No it was a small thin metal shard, I picked it up and it clinked on the plate confirming it wasn't plastic or anything. They immediately apologized and brought over the manager who also apologized and comped the entire table for us, and said they showed the chef so they can be mindful and it doesn't happened again. Granted it could be from the bag of shrimp they bought it from, who knows, mistakes happen but after everything that happened I'm too scared to go back and eat there.
