Would not recommend this place. We paid 16 bucks for a steak entree that came with meat I wouldn't even call chuck roast. 100% recommend just going over to Seasons of Japan right next door. OVERPRICED AND TERRIBLE QUALITY. Had to douse it in yum yum sauce to make it moderately edible. read more

I've heard some mixed reviews/opinions about this place and it took me a while to try them out because of them but I'm glad I decided to check them out for myself. I called in a sushi order to go just to see what they were about. I ordered 2 basic rolls (bc if you can't get those right what can you do, right?) So I got the spicy tuna and spicy crab and I was pleased! Wasn't the best sushi I've ever had but hey this stuff will do the trick. I often get scared ordering raw sushi at new places due some past not so pleasant experiences, however this wasn't one of those times. The sushi had a very nice, clean consistent flavor and the price point on them is very fair. I usually am prone to picking up a mediocre sushi roll at the Kroger next door and settling for that but now that I know I can get even better sushi for relatively cheaper right next door I can definitely say that I'll be back! read more

We get pickup from here all the time. I have yet to find safer Covid- safe precautions anywhere in Savannah. We love their cheaper sushi rolls and find that we can get an inexpensive yet yummy dinner. I have yet to find a roll we have not enjoyed. These guys are a bit of a hidden gem, they are near the end of the kroger plaza on ogeechee (hwy 17) the food is excellent, and service is super fast. Very relaxed atmosphere and attentive to there customers. Highly recommend. read more

Wonderful service. My husband came for a pickup order and grabbed the wrong food. Becasue of COVID19 the food couldnt be swapped out so they gave us that order and our original order for no charge even though it was our mistake. I've been coming here since they opened, before that my family frequented the location on Waters Ave. Their food is awesome, staff is friendly, and prices are great- the lunch prices are especially stellar. I've eaten their chicken teriyaki literally hundreds of times and will continue to do so! The gyoza and yaki udon are also spectacular. read more

Found this place while on a outing with the family. So glad we did! It was 2:00 PM so it wasn't busy the day we went. We were greeted with a smile and lead to our table. We were seated and given menus which were clean. Our waitress took our orders quickly brought out our salads and soup. The main entrees followed shortly afterwards. The food was delicious and appeared to be prepared freshly. The serving sizes were perfect and we left satisfied. The only thing I didn't care for was the restroom. I felt it was dark and neglected. This place is mediocre at best. They do have a decent lunch menu with good prices, but the food is not great. I did have the spicy fish special for lunch, which was good, but their vegetables taste as though they were removed from the freezer section and microwave. So terrible! I thought I'd give them another try for dinner and it was so not worth it at all! I don't think I'll be back here. The food is pretty terrible. read more

Home in the wall vibes! The overall appearance of the place is not the best but you can tell that they take pride, the tables and bathrooms are always clean. The waitress is very attentive and spit on with her service. We come here for the chicken yank soba and the variety of sushi. The food is always served in a timely manner no matter the size of the crowd. We come here at least once a month to eat and drive an hour to dine in. read more

I think the restaurant is operated by Chinese and not Japanese. I had shrimps udon noodle soup. The soup base is more like Chinese type with soy sauce in it. I did not taste any bonito favor that normally Japanese cuisine would have. Nonetheless the shrimps were cooked perfectly and not rubbery. Overall it is good. Quality of the food was not good. We had teriyaki steak and chicken. The sauce was more like bbq, and added after the meat was cooked. Steak cuts were poor quality. Well the Sushi is ok. A little over priced, but tasty. I was pretty sad that my friend ordered something she didn't like and the manager made a big deal over the 5 dollar item. The manager got very loud and yelled at our server until my Friend finally told her she just didn't care for it. The lady then yelled at my friend and still charged us for the item. I would have let the 5 dollars go seeing as the two of us had eaten there 3 times within two weeks. I will not be back due to this poor management style. read more
