I went online to see their menu. I called to place my order and it was $13 more than what I had figured in my head. When I picked up the order I looked at the menu inside the restaurant. The prices were different. When I asked the staff about it it, she said that they had raised their prices 2 or 3 times since the prices were entered on the online menu. It's ok, if your in the mood for Chinese, This is right up the street from my house, so it is usually out of convenience that I eat here or grab some take-out. During the week, they have a buffet at lunch time, which has a fair amount of choices, but they only put small amounts of each food on the bar. If several people are in there eating, the food disappears quickly and you have to wait for them to cook more. They will then come out with a small sauce pan of what needs to be replaced, so be prepared to jump on it quick if you want some. Their fried rice is yellow, and to me fried rice should be brown, it is also dry at times. Like I stated above, I only eat here out of convenience. my wife and I stopped by this 'restaurant' this afternoon. I opened the door and stood in shock looking. it was filthy and nasty inside. no one in their right mind would eat anything prepared in this den of dirt. how has the health department not closed this disgusting place down? YUCK, YUCK, YUCK are the three best words that describe this place. please someone, open a decent restaurant in Springfield, Guyton or Rincon. Why are there only marginal places at best? Our population is GROWING big time but there is not one decent place to eat here. we always have to fight the horrendous semi truck traffic between here and Savannah in order to eat a a decent restaurant. Again, there are absolutely no outstanding restaurants or even acceptable ones anywhere near. It makes me cry because I love good food. It is a shame that someone can't open one that serves decent food in a decent environment that is not greasy and filthy. read more

Worst customer service ever! Refused to remake food due to an error on their end. They then proceeded to say that it wasn't their fault after there were mushrooms in one of the plates for someone who is deathly allergic. Always check your food before leaving this place, because they try to convince you nothing is wrong! read more

I would not recommend this business! I ordered $56 in food and our General Tso chicken was completely disgusting. It tasted just like fish and it was not served with broccoli. I called the restaurant and the restaurant manager argued with me. She said the batch of chicken was fine and that she had sold it to 2 other customers and they do not sell "fishy fishy". Whatever that means.....All I requested was to have a new order of chicken and she refused. I will never order from this restaurant again! They either serve rotten chicken or mix their chicken and fish when cooking. Neither of those are delicious options. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere! read more

The dish I ordered had something wrong with the chicken. I ordered garlic chicken combo and it dish came with what tasted like regular teriyaki sauce. I tasted the chicken and spit it right out into a napkin, it was solid fat. The rest if the chicken was either fat or stretchy. The rest of the food ordered was just fine. When I tried to speak with the lady who works there she laughed and me. I did not take one full bit of my plate and she still charged me full price. I came in as a family if 3 and spend 45$ I again tried to explain to the teenager who also works up front and he was uncomfortable to talk about it and told me my total again. Don't go here they do not stand behind their food. If they give you food that tastes just like sugar etc, etc. you have to trash your money and food in the trash can. General Tso's chicken isn't edible tastes just like a pound of sugar. I brought four plates and had to trash all four plates because they wouldn't stand behind their non-edible food. I suspect that this restaurant has so many stars because there are so few restaurants in Springfield. The food took forever, despite the fact that there were few customers. The staff acted offended that we wanted to eat in the restaurant. They still gave us everything in takeaway containers. We had to ask to use plates. The food was mediocre at best. My parents had orange chicken, my husband chicken fried rice, and I had pad Thai. The orange chicken was the best. There was a bone shard in the pad Thai. Not the greatest experience. read more

The food at this location is actually not bad at all. But the staff gives the impression they are unhappy to be there. The customer service is just not there. Since the pandemic, several restaurants have made changes to help themselves function to better serve the community. China 1 blocked off their entire restaurant and created a small entry with a bunch of plastic draped for window pickup only. It's hot and cramped with just two people waiting in line. It's not designed for social distancing and seems to have been constructed to keep the owners of the restaurant safe, not the customers. It's too bad they don't care more about folks. I would have easily given them 5 stars if they did. read more

Eh. Below average food so far. I got the cashew chicken. Portion was large. It would of been good if they had cleaned the wok or used fresh cooking oil. It tastes slightly like burned oil. Hole in the wall for sure. The staff were friendly. It took a little while to get the food. They do a lot of take out business, so order over the phone first. I would not recommend dining in. I'll give it one more try. REVISED REVIEW I been back twice and have to say the food was quite good. I had the chicken lo mein and the pad Thai. Pad Thai was awesome. Just moved to the area and thought we'd give one of the local restaurants a try. We ordered multiple types of fried rice, egg rolls, a beef and chicken dish, and lo mein. I'm not gonna go on a long and over expressive tirade, only state the food in general was a cross between mall Chinese and tv dinner Chinese food. Egg rolls and lo mein was worst I've ever had including tv dinners. I think positive reviews are from people who don't know any better and China 1 is all they know. Sorry reviewers but its the truth. I walked in here and the place was kind of dirty. The walls were filty. I ordered a combo since I was already here and the food was ok. Not the greatest. I looked around and saw that the place had a C Rating and many violations. I will not stop in here again. Sign should be visible from the from of the place and not on the wall inside. Great place to get Chinese food. Great prices for large portions and tastes good. They also have a lunch buffets for cheap.

Close to home so they are our usual go to for a good dinner. They have a bit of a wait, which is understandable. They're usually pretty busy but it's worth it. My husband and I went here and got several dishes to try. We got them to go and tasted each and figured we'd have enough for lunch the next day. Sweet and sour chicken is basically what my husband called "chicken bits and flour." Hardly any chicken in them. Egg rolls were delicious. Shrimp fried rice was ok. It had about 10 pieces loaded on top and the rest was rice, which didn't have much flavor. Chicken terriyaki was not my favorite but my husband liked it. Portion sizes were really good.
