    Last time was 2017..

After a hard day of brutal yard work, decided to take a nice drive out here. Fortunate to have my youngest on this outing.. It's been a long long time since visiting.. Ordered two duck rice plates and son got the adobo. Duck was good( wish they had plum sauce).. Adobo was perfect for the son.

Came back here and ordered their crispy ribs with rice. Service was very fast as our order came in 10 minutes. The last time we came here, I didn't enjoy the food. Today, I have to admit, their crispy ribs are really good. It's so crispy outside and the flavor was delicious. The place was almost full and we had to line up to get our order. I have to try the other items on their menu and see if they're as good as this one.

This has one of the shortest lines to dine at in Cache Creek. There is a menu board that changes every few seconds. The items range from Chinese, Filipino, Japanese and Vietnamese cuisines. Line up and place your order at the register. Typically only one staff at the register making the line go by slowly. Find a table and your food will be delivered to you. There is a self serve soda area, behind the register. The food comes out fast and hot. I got the udon, it's a good serving with a lot of ingredients (udon, chicken, fish ball, shrimp, bok choy, mushrooms). But it is bland, there is no flavor. You can add sriracha and chili oil but that only adds spice. It's missing the salt and umami flavors. What it does do fuel you up after the drive and get you ready to play for a couple of hours.

We came here after golfing at Yocha Dehe for some noodles. Once I saw the Thai curry chicken over rice I knew I had to have it. My hubby got the crispy pork ribs. I was very disappointed with my curry chicken. Although it was served hot, it tasted more of cream a chicken gravy with a hint of curry. There were thin slices of chicken breast and a lot of bamboo shoots, onions and carrots. I think the vendors at Cache Creek cater to the gamblers than people like myself Looking for more authentic Asian cuisine. I'm sure my curry was sitting in a huge pot all day just waiting to be served over some hot white rice. My husbands 4 pieces of crispy pork ribs was Crispy but did not have too much meat on it. It did come with rice and a small salad. All I can say is at least soda and soft drinks were included.

Decided to eat here at Cache Creek as we had $20 in food credit. We normally eat at the buffet but buffets are closed throughout California. Ordered at the register, number given, drinks and utensils handed to us, told it would take 12 minutes, and found a just cleaned table for four. Interesting in that the food came out in like 5 minutes. Guess they really want fast turnover so they can get you back on the casino floor. Decent portions and taste for a fast Asian food joint. Noodles, rice bowls, appetizers... All of the Cache Creek restaurants are decent.

At Asian Kitchen, you place your order at the front and pay before you get seated. The didn't understand my order, so I ended up with a dish I didn't want (Sinigang). There was enough seating and it was tastefully decorated. The food was average. * Pho with beef - I enjoyed the Pho; it hit the spot and tasted like comfort food to me. It was very filling. * Egg rolls - these were a little doughy * Sinigang - I've never had this before, but it was sour to the taste and not my cup of tea

Food was delicious and priced well. I wish the menu mentioned how many prices came with the meal as the ribs only came in 3 pieces and the wings only came in 5. Also keep in mind that you order your meal before getting seated, so while you wait in line, figure out what.

Got the pho and crispy pork ribs. Things need to be put into perspective, it is a casino restaurant. Happy it was free. The pho was ok, with the addition of sriracha you can make it alright. The meat was not the most tender. But on a cold winter day it did the trick for my pho craving. The crispy ribs are a pass, enough said. The mango "sorry excuse for a bubble tea" did a good job being the kryptonite to the sriracha. If you are in cache casino I would recommend the sports pub instead.

I'm giving 1 star because the food quality and taste are terrible.. the beef stew that I had was just not good..the smell I couldn't stand and the meat quality was not as good as it look. After a few bite I then walked out hungry. Will never come back here again! Thank you!

Asian Noodles & More - Well damn, they've got the Asian food part down but is there really "more?" My parents rave about their sinigang. I'm pretty picky about certain things and this especially because its' so close to home. Home meaning, no one cooks better sinigang than my own mother lol. Anyways, I ordered it and holy smokes, did they hire my mom as a cook? Because this was pretty damn close! I meat and vegetables were soaked in with that good hot sour taste. The soup comes with Jasmine rice on the side so if that isn't Filipino enough then I don't know what is! We also ordered their chicken wings. The wings are pretty small (I'm use to Korean wings which are super steroided up btw) and came with chili sauce on the side. I'd give it 3 stars and would honestly pass the next time I come here. Pretty solid on the Filipino part. Will definitely come back to try the rest. The staff? Super friendly! Am I coming back? Sure! Til next time!

This was the worst "Asian" food I've ever had. They were accommodating, or so I thought, as I asked for an exchange of chicken wings instead. The waitress said she would have them make it fresh, but no sooner than she gave them my new order, she was placing the plate of rubber chicken wings on my table. This was such a waste. When I asked for napkins, I was directed to clear across the "restaurant" on the other side to get them. Then I had to get up again, because that was then I noticed there was no silverware dropped off with my food originally. I feel like they should have paid me for the terrible experience. If I could, I would give this place negative five stars.

The other option... Our first time dining at this restaurant. It is located inside Cache Creek Casino towards the back with the other food places (and quarter slots. LoL). There is a small bar on the right side with a big screen TV. There was a big crowd of patrons there watching the Niners game. We usually dine at the buffet but after looking at the menu posted outside of this restaurant we saw many of the dishes looked appealing to us so we decided to try it. We went to the cashier area (thinking we were going to get assigned a table) but the hostess said that we were supposed to choose from the 2 page laminated menu (printed front and back) that was located by the cash register and then pay for our meals and then find our seats. I guess the drinks were included with the price, which was mostly $9.88/plate. TIP: Best check out the menu posted on the wall outside before walking in, otherwise, you'll be holding up the line as you decide on what to eat (in our case, good thing there was no one waiting behind us). We found seats close to the big screen TV (of course)... the Niners were playing against the Baltimore Ravens. The bar area would get loud as cheers for the local team would be heard (very loudly). Anyway, here come our food and that's all they brought out. We found out that we were suppose to get our own silverware, napkins and drinks. I guess the hostess had mentioned that to us as we paid that but I didn't hear her very well. I had the crispy pork ribs rice plate. It looked so good as our server brought it out to me (look at the photo I took). The meal came with salad. I took my first bite... what a disappointment because it was bland to the taste! My hubby's adobo rice plate was the same thing and said that my cooking was much better! LoL (and I'm not a good cook!). Oh well... maybe we'll stick to the Harvest Buffet next time where I get my money's worth with the hubby :) Review #0384

Lemon grass pork chop, come with rice and small portion of salad and drink.

Found Kuji thanks to Yelp and was craving bibimbap. Lo and behold, Kuji was close to the freeway and provided a much needed break. Located in a strip mall, there is seating alongside the wall and in the front. You pay at the counter and pick up your food. The bibimbap had a healthy serving of spinach (yay!) as well as marinated beef. Banchan is a separate charge, so I skipped that. Maybe it was the type of bowl it was served in, but one of the best things about bibimbap is the crunch burnt rice at the bottom. OMG. I love the texture and the taste. Unfortunately this did not deliver. There was a hint of crispiness at the bottom but not the usual amount that I would have liked. Nonetheless.the taste was spot on and should I get stuck in traffic again would drop by to try out other menu items.

I didnt get photos of the desserts but I will say these were interesting. That makes sense to why the drinks were quite stiff. I understand why many of the older guests chose to sit outside on the patio, where it was much quieter. Danielle was wonderful. Even though she was handling a large party, she remained attentive and checked on us regularly. Food-wise, it fell short for my Asian taste buds, which tend to prefer bolder and more layered flavors. For starters, we had the tartare, which was enjoyable and very flavorful. For the main entrées, we had the beef carpaccio, but it unfortunately missed the mark. The vegetables on top were visually appealing, but flavor-wise it lacked depth. It needed extra mint or perhaps to be wrapped in a sesame leaf to give it more bite and contrast. Next, we tried the lion meatball with veggie fried rice. The meatball was dry and had a grainy texture. It needed more fat in the blend for better richness. Pairing it with a baguette or even a savory donut stick would have added a nice contrast in texture and flavor. I'm usually not a fried rice person, but I kept eating it because it was the only dish I genuinely enjoyed and found well-seasoned. It wasn't the traditional wok-hei style fried rice; instead, it tasted fresher and lighter. I understand and appreciate the direction of the flavors and dishes, as they seem intentionally designed to be more subtle, calming, and approachable for American palates. However, from my perspective and personal preference as someone who enjoys stronger Asian flavors, it lacked the "wow" factor I was hoping for.
