I really like the duck, though they don't serve a sauce with it. The bio Choy is another favorite of mine, but it's pretty bland here. I don't mind because it's the only thing good for me on my plate, lol. My friend had the pho noodles. Yummy yummy yummy! I think the Bhan Mi that I had here was probably by far one of the best that I've had throughout the years that I've been eating Bhan Mi. So fresh and delicious. The presentation was vibrant and smelled really good. The sandwich was presented as an open face presentation which I thought was unique. The role that is used as the bridge choice was already cut in half so I just had to fold grab a piece and eat. I chose the combination sandwich which I feel was a great choice. They have another one. That is the pork sandwich. I think the associates working here this particular day were very friendly and polite from when we paid at the beginning before being seated and to when our food was Brought to us at our table and even just with an update on if fresh coffee was ready. This location is connected to a casino so the noise is a little bit more loud than some places. But they do have probably about 5 to 6 televisions posted throughout Which is a nice attitude touch to catch up on some sports or news or weather with captions on televisions. Pretty decent spread out of tables and seating choices, which allows for location to seem bigger and not so close together. It is an open kitchen, so you are able to see the chefs cooking and preparing the meals. The sandwich that I had was $13 and the crispy pork ribs that we ordered also were $10. Very reasonable in pricing as we also used our comp dollars towards our meal, which is another great added perk that is allowed at any of the restaurants within the location. We came here after golfing at Yocha Dehe for some noodles. Once I saw the Thai curry chicken over rice I knew I had to have it. My hubby got the crispy pork ribs. This has one of the shortest lines to dine at in Cache Creek. There is a menu board that changes every few seconds. The items range from Chinese, Filipino, Japanese and Vietnamese cuisines. Line up and place your order at the register. Typically only one staff at the register making the line go by slowly. Find a table and your food will be delivered to you. There is a self serve soda area, behind the register. The food comes out fast and hot. I got the udon, it's a good serving with a lot of ingredients (udon, chicken, fish ball, shrimp, bok choy, mushrooms). But it is bland, there is no flavor. You can add sriracha and chili oil but that only adds spice. It's missing the salt and umami flavors. You have to order up front first and then sit down. The plus side is you get a free soft drink included. We order the duck and the fried spare ribs and spent around $30 dollars. This was the worst "Asian" food I've ever had. They were accommodating, or so I thought, as I asked for an exchange of chicken wings instead. The waitress said she would have them make it fresh, but no sooner than she gave them my new order, she was placing the plate of rubber chicken wings on my table. This was such a waste. The other option... Our first time dining at this restaurant. It is located inside Cache Creek Casino towards the back with the other food places (and quarter slots. LoL). There is a small bar on the right side with a big screen TV. There was a big crowd of patrons there watching the Niners game. We usually dine at the buffet but after looking at the menu posted outside of this restaurant we saw many of the dishes looked appealing to us so we decided to try it. We went to the cashier area (thinking we were going to get assigned a table) but the hostess said that we were supposed to choose from the 2 page laminated menu (printed front and back) that was located by the cash register and then pay for our meals and then find our seats. I guess the drinks were included with the price, which was mostly $9.88/plate. TIP: Best check out the menu posted on the wall outside before walking in, otherwise, you'll be holding up the line as you decide on what to eat (in our case, good thing there was no one waiting behind us). We found seats close to the big screen TV (of course)... the Niners were playing against the Baltimore Ravens. The bar area would get loud as cheers for the local team would be heard (very loudly). Anyway, here come our food and that's all they brought out. We found out that we were suppose to get our own silverware, napkins and drinks. I guess the hostess had mentioned that to us as we paid that but I didn't hear her very well. I had the crispy pork ribs rice plate. It looked so good as our server brought it out to me (look at the photo I took). The meal came with salad. I took my first bite... what a disappointment because it was bland to the taste! There's mix emotions for me when it comes to Asian Kitchen because it's hit or miss all the time. If you're fortunate enough though you'll get there when a Latina/Mexicana supervisor is working. She always gets the the staff working fast and helps out a little also. Unlike the other sups she's a team player and doesn't mind doing a little here and there to gets things going right. She's only been there for a few months, almost a year, now, and started her training with working the floor. The other Asian (Filipino and Chinese sups), however, think they're a little better than helping their staff out. The food is pretty adequate. It's a great value though since less than $10 gets you a meal and soft drinks/coffee galore. It's not a place to expect top Asian restaurant quality fare but it's not bad for a casino restaurant outside of Vegas. The Roast Duck Soup is the best deal in the house! The Pork Adobo is marinated pretty well. The Potstickers are mini fried gyoza. The Sinigang is decent and contains all the fixins, but lacks the sour punch that traditional Filipino sinigang should have. The Thai Wings are nothing more than fried wings with that sweet chili sauce, but it's pretty darn delicious with some freshly steamed rice. They also have pearl drinks in a frozen slushy form.
