    Bacon burger

Been here twice Very busy on Tuesday nights , got the bacon burger one time and the grilled chicken sandwich the next time both were good we had option of lays chips or French fries.

The new "patio" style seating area is going to give longterm gamblers a place for mental revival. Calm yourself for a moment

The DELI, at Cache Creek Casino Resort makes my day when I'm low on fuel, and short of time for gambling. It has the fastest throughput, from a consistently short waiting line, to the first bite. This is another Cache Creek café with a clear view of the cooks. The food is cooked to order. Whether I intend to sit at the barstool- style counter, get a table for two, quick stop take-away so I can eat while playing slots, or even simply buying food to go for a meal during the drive home, I can find what I want on this menu.

Seka Hills!! What a unique place!…read more I hadn't been in a few years, but was looking for something unique for my mother-in-law's birthday and remembered this place! It's a fantastic "stop" if you're headed to Winters for dinner at Buckhorn! Seka Hills is located in Capay Valley, deep in the rural part of Yolo County. It's in a town called Brooks and is next to Cache Creek (Native American casino). Getting there from Sacramento is definitely a journey!! But the drive is nice and relaxing once you pass Woodland. There are two ways to get there- you can either take I-5 to CA-16 W or you can take I-80 to 113 and "cookie cut" your way through. Either way it should take about an hour from Sac, depending on traffic. My wife, mother-in-law, and I opted for the I-5 route as that's more of a straight shot while avoiding people headed to the Bay Area. Seka Hills is BEAUTIFUL, both inside and out. Especially on an 80 degree day... it's heavenly and EXTREMELY relaxing. The property overlooks rolling hills and has a "still" to it that reminds me of rural Andalusia, Spain. Incredibly calming. Parking is abundant and there is an inside and outside area. The outside tables are reserved for wine tasting and charcuterie. But the inside area is gignatic and stunning! Seka Hills is famous for their olive oils and balsamic vinegars. But they also do wines, honey, almond butters, snacks, and more. They offer complimentary tastings of all their oils and vinegars, which we gladly partook in. Their olive oils include Arbequina (meant for baking, marinading, sautéing, roasting, and dipping), Picual (enhancing salads, vegetables, fish, chicken, and meats), Frantoio (dipping and finishing oil), Taggiasca (butter replacement), and their Tribal Blend (salad and cheese enricher). And they sell three balsamic vinegars: Elderberry, Fig, and Pomegranate. We loved EVERY single olive oil and vinegar, which made it extremely difficult to pick what to purchase. My wife and I ended up with their Arbequina olive oil and Pomegranate vinegar. Whereas my mother-in-law bought their Picual oil and Elderberry vinegar. She also purchased some of Seka's honey as the patron let her try some. Mind you while we were tasting we were sipping on some glasses of wine: their 2016 Tuluk'a Red Blend. Seka lets you walk around the facility with your glass, or you can sit inside/ outside. I really enjoy the wine tasting facilities that allow for such flexibility, as I'm the type who struggles to sit still for long periods of time (lol, where my fellow 90s babies at?) Seka Hills also sells nuts, sandwiches, souvenirs, cooking utensils, and much more. You can also view their oil mills in the back of the facility through giant plexiglass. If you're fascinated by how olive oil is made, you will be impressed! We spent about 45 minutes here because we had early dinner reservations, but easily could've spent longer while sitting outside and enjoying the views and "stillness." While my family loves going to Wine Country in Napa Valley, some times it's nice to mix things up and go somewhere a little more local. As I mentioned earlier, it is definitely a trek to get here. But if you're looking for a UNIQUE experience and want some world class olive oil, vinegar, and wine, this is the spot for you! Additionally, Seka Hills just opened up a tasting room in Midtown Sacramento in the "Ice Blocks." So if you wish to get oil/vinegar you can always pop in to that location as it's extremely nearby and centrally located. However, there's just something so relaxing and charming about their rural Yolo County spot. I hope I gave readers an idea of how to please their mother-in-laws (lol)! But all joking aside, I HIGHLY recommend Seka Hills. They have some of the best olive oil and vinegar in the game, and this location is specularly impressive and chill. A++++++

The…read moretasting room is beautifully designed with rustic-modern vibes, local goods, and views of the working olive mill. I did a tasting flight of four wines and especially loved the Tuluk'a red blend -- smooth and delicious. I also sampled the Sauvignon Blanc, which was crisp and perfect for a warm day and I brought a bottle home with me The food was a pleasant surprise -- I had the Capay Banh Mi Pastrami sandwich and seasonal pasta salad. Both were flavorful and satisfying. I lounged on the shaded patio while enjoying live music, which made the experience even more relaxing. I do wish there was more storytelling about the Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation, who own and operate the property -- that cultural connection would have added depth to the visit. Customer service was okay, but not particularly engaging. Overall, a beautiful spot to sip, unwind, and savor the day

I didn't take a pic of my food bc I was soooo hungry. but I did get the 2 Eggs Any Style. I ordered mine with Bacon, Sunny Side Up Eggs, and Hash-browns. I decided not to ask for crispy hash-browns. but what came to the table was a perfectly fried AND CRISPY tasty yummy hash brown. bacon was overly crunchy but still enjoyed it. sunny side eggs were good too! not too runny not but jammy. daughter ordered the Tocilog. This was really good too. The rice you get with it is garlic rice. there was a lot on her plate so we took home leftovers. Still great as leftovers! Will be back to definitely try more nomnoms!

The menu is a nice size and has a little bit of everything such as pasta, steaks, seafood, sandwiches, Filipino food, burgers, chicken wings and even breakfast. They are a little bit more upscale that the traditional cafe and the prices are on the higher side. I went here twice and both times I experienced problems with my food. I ordered a New York Steak Sandwich (Medium Well) and this came with seasoned fries. The initial sandwich was cooked Medium Rare and I had to bring it back and asked for well done but it was not well but cooked medium well. I'm not sure what the issue is with not cooking the steak to the correct temperature. The second sandwich was actually pretty good, the steak was tender and had good flavor. I really liked garlic peppercorn aioli on it and I wish I would've added cheese as that may have really taken it to the next level. The seasoned fries were good as well. The second night I ate here again and decided to get steak again lol. This time I got the Grilled New York Steak which came with green beans and garlic mashed potatoes and I got it well done. I thought for sure since I ordered it well done then that's what it will be, there's no way they'll mess it up two nights in a row. WRONG!! This steak was rare!!!! I was so disgusted. I ended up taking the steak back and receiving a refund. I might eat here again but I most definitely will not be getting the steak or any beef items here as they do not cook them correctly.

It's the only place I know that has white sharp cheddar cheese, which I love on sandwiches, and I always get their Guini juice on the side. That said, I was a bit taken aback by the pricing on my most recent visit. I completely understand that prices go up, but my veggie sandwich was listed at $13.75 and I was charged $17.75. It turns out certain breads are an upcharge, but that wasn't communicated--I only realized after I had already paid. I also asked for pepperoncini and was charged $3, even though it's supposed to be $1.75. On top of that, it looks like I was charged for cucumbers, even though they're listed as part of the vegetarian sandwich, which feels a bit misleading. I've never had this issue before, so next time I'll definitely double-check pricing or order online since that's always been accurate for me. I still enjoy the food, just wish pricing and add-ons were more clearly communicated.

The presentation was vibrant and smelled really good. The sandwich was presented as an open face presentation which I thought was unique. The role that is used as the bridge choice was already cut in half so I just had to fold grab a piece and eat. I chose the combination sandwich which I feel was a great choice. They have another one. That is the pork sandwich. I think the associates working here this particular day were very friendly and polite from when we paid at the beginning before being seated and to when our food was Brought to us at our table and even just with an update on if fresh coffee was ready. This location is connected to a casino so the noise is a little bit more loud than some places. But they do have probably about 5 to 6 televisions posted throughout Which is a nice attitude touch to catch up on some sports or news or weather with captions on televisions. Pretty decent spread out of tables and seating choices, which allows for location to seem bigger and not so close together. It is an open kitchen, so you are able to see the chefs cooking and preparing the meals. The sandwich that I had was $13 and the crispy pork ribs that we ordered also were $10. Very reasonable in pricing as we also used our comp dollars towards our meal, which is another great added perk that is allowed at any of the restaurants within the location. I usually like to try each restaurant per each visit, but I know I will be returning back here to enjoy another one of those sandwiches in the near future.
